Now the details for those that are curious... :) Eddie is really a credit expert and genius. I have typically been skeptical of "credit repair" companies. I assumed that they all work similarly in just flooding the bureaus with lots of disputes. But Eddie and CSG do not do that. Eddie is so incredibly knowledgeable with the how of credit scoring and reporting. I met with Eddie very last minute and he reviewed by credit details with me and is able to go through the details and know what line items matter and which ones don't. He has intimate knowledge of how every entry in your credit file (good and bad) affects your scores and typically by how many points. While I understood credit scores generally, and how to positively impact them, there are several things that you just cannot do in the time frame I needed. Assumed it was me not asking the right questions and gave them a second chance this year. I was a 1099 Independent Contractor with a Small business LLC that has been open for 3 months. Day of the appointment, again, there for 30 min, John said I would owe 11K in taxes and recommend an LLC to not have to pay those taxes, I was confused because I indeed already had an LLC , and clearly someone missed all my paperwork I input on their organizer. John took a look at my LLC and said "Nevermind, I'm gonna have to redo all this" I left Extremely confused. I called twice and all they could say was " We will let you know if we need anything from you" WHAT!?! WEEKS LATER I get an email stating taxes are done. I was charged 600 for personal, again, charged for an hour that I was not there for, then, 1,300 for business taxes, AND 800 for someone to go through my quickbooks. I had requested 1 HOUR of Quickbooks Organizing. No acknowledgment to the mess up and almost putting me 11K in Debt! No Communication to what is going on. My FIRST time filing for my 3 Month old Business and The Worst Experience I could've had. I Paid My Bill, and I Won't Fight over 3K because I have other this to worry about, but definitely want to help anyone out there looking to file your taxes.
