He kept me in the loop, gave me all the options possible to make it financially suitable for my budget. I needed to get my recalled Air Bags installed. Called for a appt. was told it was a half day job. I know that's not the case and asked if I had my wife bring it in if she could wait. Minimum 2 hours was the response. No variable. I called Landmark Ford who has always done me right and she just got the airbags installed in & out in under 45 min. Moral of the story. On 21 April I purchased a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport from Skyline Ford. The vehicle is what we wanted, however the salesperson lied to us about pricing. I qualify for the X Plan, told the salesperson about the qualification, but was immediately told that the Bronco Sport does not qualify under that pricing structure. Unfortunately, we trusted the salesperson's direction. According to Ford however, the Bronco Sport does qualify for X plan pricing. So, not only was the salesperson negligent in their customer care, he also seemingly took advantage of two lifetime Ford customers. I have called the dealership twice without a call back from the sales manager. If this is the customer care that Ford advertises they have some work to do. As a result of this incident, my daughter has since opted away from purchasing from Skyline Ford and purchased a new Ranger from another dealership. We will never purchase again from Skyline Ford (and will think twice before purchasing another Ford in general) unless this issues is promptly rectified. Be better! read more

I was called by Garrett here yesterday, one day AFTER (he was late getting back to me on my inquiry, so I went elsewhere) I bought a Ford Fusion from another dealership. I really wanted a hybrid since the one I got was not. Since I was still in the 3 days right of rescission, I decided to look at the car. Garrett showed me the car but couldn't get it started. He then went to the building to get a jump start box. While he was gone, I noticed a 2019 Ford Fusion Energi nearby, so I looked at it. I noticed the charging cord port on the side and asked about it. He said, "Oh, those are fully electric." While he was attempting to get it started and jumped, which failed, I Googled the 2019 Ford Fusion Energi and it clearly stated online that it's a hybrid, NOT fully electric. He either lied to me or didn't know his product. Not being able to start the car tells me that either it was a fluke that it wouldn't start, or they don't keep up their lot inventory. I'd NEVER purchase a vehicle here. read more

I can't say worse thing about this place. All i needed was a key cut and i tried my hand at programing it for a 2015 Ford F350 as i have programmed my lock and key for my Ranger 2011 in the past. Well they process was different, and instead of being told that i might get my 20$ Amazon key to work if you pay 85$ to the service department. They said the key would likely not work and that i would need a OEM ford key. So i took their word at face value and bought a ford OEM key for 195$. Then the Jim at the counter told me i had to program it myself and i would work. And if it didn't Service department could get it working likely for not additional charge. Well that was a BALD FACE LIE! ALL OF IT! I go down there and they say its 85$ for a programing, then the guy makes the mistake of telling me "ohh tell him to program that other key so they both will work! That way you have 3 keys." So you sold me a key that i didn't need and knew service dept would have to program it anyway because of the model, and you only sent me there once i spent as much money as humanly possible. This place will miss lead you with a smile and ring you out for every dime you have. Worst part is my girl complained and he lied straight to her and didn't even suggest any solution like a partial refund anything. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! read more

This review is for the 'service and repair' center at Skyline Ford on Commercial. TERRIBLE service. I took my car in for a simple check engine light diagnosis. First, I had to schedule an appointment early in the morning. I took my car in and they said it would be 3 hours. Not wanting to be stranded for 3 hours, I took their shuttle home. At the end of the day they finally called to tell me that they still did not get to my car so it needed to stay there one more day. The next day they called and I tried to tell me all the different things that was wrong (without flat out telling me what the one actually reason was). I came in to pick up my car, asked for some copies of their estimates and the guy said 'sure, one moment' and never came back! $100 for a diagnosis at Skyline when I got the SAME INFO AT AUTO ZONE FOR FREE! read more

I would give negative stars if I could. We went in to buy a ford truck. We had a motorhome to trade in, which made it slightly more difficult. Apparently way to difficult for the salesman "Wally" and management. We sat for an hour and a half waiting for someone to give us an answer, with no communication, we decided to go to lunch. We left our phone number and "Wally" said he would call. Five days later still NO call. We now own a beautiful 2016 Chevy Silverado, we bought in Sublimity! Got in my car and found garbage shoved between the middle console and driver seat and underneath the passenger seat. Service shop is no good, had a few problems with a newer F350 and they failed to fix about everything I asked them to do. Truck had a charging problem, headlights were out, and I had something going on with rear tire studs. 3 days after my appointment they changed the altatater and told me it was ALL fixed. I pickup the truck after dark and still NO headlights, the service manager told me to go to a parts store and do it myself. The rear tire was lose to the point I took the lug nuts off by hand, and it cost almost $900. For crap service, if they can't fix what they sell then but someplace that can do the job right read more

Took my F250 in yesterday, Thursday 4/22/16, due to my water in fuel light coming on and an oil change. I drained it at home and it kept coming on so I knew it was a censor. Dropped it off at 7:30 for a 10:00 appointment. I called to check on it at 3:00 and they said they were just getting to it. At 4 pm, they called back and said yep, the idiot light is coming on but we can't be sure what it is until we open it up. THIS IS WHY I BROUGHT IT IN!!! They said they might be able to get it done the next day but were not sure. I said NO, I needed the truck to leave town on Friday. They said they would start the oil change now...at 4 PM, after sitting all day. When I went to pick it up, no one would talk to me. I was told to go to the cashier and pay. The cashier was not sure what was going on and said I could talk to the shop supervisor. By this point I was so mad I just asked her to relay the message. NOW, I get home and look at the papers and it said I have bad power steering fluid, bad brakes, front end issues, bad tires, 3rd brake light needs replaced and the water/fuel separator needs to be fixed. The papers said I declined all these "services". How can I decline something I didn't know about? Last week I was at Les Schwab for a brake check and rotation. They said brakes were getting low but not an issue and tires looked great. I have had my pickup since Feb 2007. 3 months ago I moved back to Salem after being in Southern Oregon where Ford down there took great care of me. I will NEVER recommend this place and I will NEVER do business with them again. IF this is how they treat customers, I have no clue how they stay in business. read more

We had such a fantastic service experience at Skyline this past week! Our Navigator was making a funny noise, needed an oil change and just an overall check of things (I do a lot of driving in my business) and I'd put it off longer than I probably should have. Vince was able to get us right in and after looking at things found the cause of the noise and saw that my brakes were well past the "you should have probably had these changed a while ago" point and recommended they be replaced. The vehicle needed to be in the shop for a few days so they could give it a thorough check and get the parts ordered but before doing any work, he would call each time to explain exactly what was needed and how much it would cost (SO appreciated this!) and they got us fixed up so I could get back on the road. He was truly a pleasure to work with and I appreciated his level of professionalism and customer service along the way. Not only do I use this is vehicle as my primary for work, but it's also what hauls us and our 4 kids around daily so having everything in working order is a must. The day I got the vehicle back, I was coming back from Albany down I-5 going about 65 mph when a girl suddenly pulled onto the highway (she was maybe going 15-20mph at the MOST!) and pulled right in front of my vehicle and I had to suddenly slam on breaks to avoid hitting her. Knowing how my breaks felt before I took them in, I don't have a doubt that had they not replaced those, I'd be coming back sooner than planned.....for body work after a crash. Can't say enough great things about these guys and how much I appreciate them - not only this time but every time we take our vehicles there! The staff is always polite and friendly - from the service writers to the techs to the cashier and they are always trying to find a way to fit us in with our crazy schedules. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing work! read more

I brought my Ford Escape in to have my brand new tow package installed on my vehicle, ordered and bought from ford. Took two days to install which was no big deal. When I went to pick up my vehicle John in service gave me my paper work to take to the cashier to get checked out, didn't even go over the vehicle with me nor was it pulled up anywhere close to be picked up. Customer service was extremely poor, and it being my fist time there. Paid the bill and went home. Looked over the vehicle when I got home and found puddy on the mouldings throughout the vehicle and they never disinfected or wiped down the vehicle during this COVID-19 pandemic going on like they say they do with the vehicle before giving it back to the customer. Also they forgot to install 4 clips on the bumper that holds it together underneath by the new tow hitch. To say the least it was extremely poor customer service! I took it back the next day to fix all there mistakes which they did but still didn't seem to care if I was satisfied nor did they really feel bad for the inconvenience of me having to come back. The service Manager Brandon Adams I believe came out as well upon my request and just simply said get it back in there and fix it. He didn't seem sorry or bad that I had to come in again to fix there laziness. This will be the first and Last time I will take my ford to Salem Ford! read more

I bought my 2007 Ford Escape from Skyline Ford eight years ago and I have been coming to the service department for regular check ups and oil changes ever since. I love the owners advantage program! I get free oil changes all the time! Their sales service team has had quite a bit of change over through the years, the last couple years they have seemed pushier and pushier and less willing to explain why and what work they wanted to do. I was getting quite discouraged. Last January the person I was working with was trying to make me feel like a minuscule oil leak was going to result in my car exploding the second I drove it off it the lot if I didn't pay to get it fixed immediately. HOWEVER my most recent visit this week was AMAZING! They have clearly put in some work to remove some bad eggs and getting a better team in. I worked with Katrina this week and she was AWSOME - FIVE STARS FOR HER! She explained what to look for and told me to prepare to replace some stuff in the next couple years, but that everything is fine for now. That is what I want - no surprises down the road, but I also don't want to feel like I am being pressured into 'fixing' things that I am not sure were wrong to begin with. If you haven't been in awhile I recommend coming back and giving their service team another shot! read more

Every time I have had to deal with Skyline they have sucked! Their service department is awful, no one calls you back, the manager is a dick. They work hard to sell you service packages but never tell you what's covered and what's not covered. I love my Ford but wish there was a decent ford dealership to work with. Just bought a F150 from Jeremy at Skyline Ford, he was great! He found just what I was looking for and had it brought over from another lot. He stayed late to get the paperwork done and go over features in the truck. The next day he scheduled appointments for me to have the spray-in bed liner and clear coat put on the front; and he took more time to answer my questions and go over even more features. WORST SERVICE EVER IN MY LIFE!!!! There is no option for zero stars otherwise I would use it. This is just one persons experience, Im sure theres a lot better, but mine TERRIBLE!!!! I have a work van that needed to be checked out took it in and was told it would be a couple days, what I expected no big deal, one business week later (the next monday) I called because I have yet to hear any thing about my van, I was told it still was not put up on "the wracks" to be checked out..... OK, its been a week?? this went on for another week when I called and told them I was going to get my van if it wasnt looked at they said "well we were going to put it up on the wrack tomorrow but if you really want we can hold off...." so obviously I said fine, that friday (yes the end of the third week now) they said they had it on the wrack but couldnt look at it!!! REALLY?? said they had a guy coming in Saturday to check it out, then you guessed it, Wednesday I HAD TO CALL YET AGAIN because no one at this point had reached out to me not even once!!! the rep I was dealing with was Andrew, he tells me they got the transmission opened up and noticed a lot of metal shavings and wanted to open the tranny up further. With a green light they opened it and called me two days later on Friday to tell me it was a bad tranny and needed to be replaced, good news is its still under warranty, YAY good news for once finally after a month. a week goes by still no word so I call and they said that the new tranny is in and they were going to put it in that weekend, well monday came and went....so did tuesday still no word, so I called because STILL NO CONTACT FROM ANDREW!!! he says to me that they pulled the tranny and they discovered.... it wasnt a ford transmission so now we have a van with no transmission that has been sitting for over a month now.... I ask this, how do you inspect a transmission and NOT SEE THAT ITS NOT YOURS!!!!! frustrated at this point. they say theyre doing what they can to get it taken care of, another week goes by.... at this point Ive lost track of how long its been....I had to call yet again this time the service manager gets involved he has assured me all will be done and until they get that new tranny in they would call every day with a status update -_- .....I wasnt expecting it but I was at least expecting A single phone call..... nope, so I finally call AGAIN and they tell me the transmission is there and theyre getting it put in and itll be done tomorrow!!!! I said ok so itll be done Tuesday so if I wait till Wednesday itll definitely be ready, Andrew says.... for sure, fast forward to Wed. I get an unsettling feeling and decide to call to see if its ready, Andrew says nope.... it had a couple leaks and needed to be fixed, ok fine I can deal with that will they have it ready by the end of the day he said not sure I said should I wait he says.... Ill call and let you know..... so here it is Monday I call to ask if its ready and the receptionist says " Oh wow (snicker, snicker) every ones wondering why its been here for so long?? its been ready." I wanted to blow my top!!!! end of story but bottom line this was the worst service ive ever experienced in my life!!!! read more

Sounds like the reviews are overwhelmingly positive for the dealership aspect of skyline ford, while the service department is typically negative. I guess based on my review you know which portion of skyline I experienced. Little to no communication with the service department, has been over a week and still don't have our vehicle back, and continual promises that it will be finished tomorrow, yet tomorrow has yet to come. I can not wait to finish this transaction as to make it my last with Skyline Ford. read more
