Received a text from the mobile service team at Skyline Ford that my vehicle needed a powertrain control module recalibration and wanted to schedule this. After them not listening to me on when a good time would be, we finally set a date/time that worked for me. I received a confirmation email the day before reminding me of my appointment the next day with a time and confirmation number. No one showed up and I called after an hour of them supposed to have shown up and they didn't have me in their system. Stated that they use a 3rd party to schedule these and they weren't getting the info. Well I will make sure to use someone else as they represented you and that is very poor customer service! They didn't even apologize but just blamed whoever it is they contract with. Do better and own your mistakes! read more

Victor, my salesman, did an excellent job communicating with me and getting me in the vehicle I wanted. I've had a lot of bad experiences in the past when buying a car but this was the opposite. It was a great experience and was quick and painless. One of my biggest issues with buying a car is the amount of time I have spent sitting around in the dealership. They have lied over and over to us everytime we go there. didnt tell us they added the 9,000.00 in warrenties on my 71 year okd moms car. Then we went in to see what was added couldn't show or tell us. Then when told the window was covered and it could be fixed and the water pump was,she was charged 412.00 not for the water part they said was covered. It was for them looking at it. Even though they said it would cost nothing. when we said you said it be free the swrvice worker lied and said I told you right away tgird lie!!! I want to preface this review by stating that Ford vehicles, overall, are excellent. However, this review is based on my interaction with one individual, Jeremy. He definitely needs to learn more tact and professionalism. He was aggressive when I explained that there might have been a miscommunication or misunderstanding. He was abrupt and defensive, often saying, "I wasted his Saturday." His demeanor was all around rude. Note that he spent about 1 hour on this particular Saturday. I previously purchased a vehicle from this location, and that transaction was excellent. Although I currently bring my vehicle in for routine maintenance, I will no longer set foot in this particular dealer or refer anyone. I've seen other reviews mentioning rude and aggressive sales tactics at this location. I can say that I have spoken with Francisco, who was amazing and understood the confusion. However, since Jeremy was involved in the initial conversation, he had to refer me back to him. To the owner of your dealership: one person's behavior can ruin a reputation. Please teach your salespeople that they should never be rude to anyone who walks through your doors. read more

Bought a truck almost 2 months ago now and I'm still waiting on plates. DMV told me to get in contact with my dealership to get information on when my paperwork was sent and where. Pretty easy task. Ive called 4 times now and I've been given the run around every single time. WHY?! I didn't end up purchasing a vehicle from Skyline Ford, but their honesty and integrity were so refreshing, I had to leave a review. I reached out to Julian, the sales manager, about a first-gen Tundra they had just taken in on trade. I expected the usual pressure from a dealership trying to move inventory quickly. Instead, Julian told me they hadn't listed it yet because he wanted it to go through a full pre-sale inspection first -- just to make sure it was something they'd feel good about selling. Turns out the Tundra didn't pass inspection. Rather than trying to push it anyway (which they easily could've done, especially in this market), Julian was upfront and let me know it wasn't a vehicle I'd want to own. They decided to send it to auction instead. That kind of integrity is rare these days. They easily could've kept it on the lot and made a quick sale, but they chose to do things the right way. While scheduling my service appointment, I mentioned that my engine light was on and asked how much it would cost to pull the code since my Mustang would already be there. The representative informed me it would be $189. Considering this process only takes about three minutes, I decided to go to AutoZone for a free code read instead. While I didn't expect it to be free, $189 felt excessive. It's frustrating that they missed the chance to address any issues that might have come up. Unbelievable! read more

I will never go here again and you shouldn't either. Let me tell you why. They charged me $200.00 for an OBD scan, which I could have done for free at my home. Then, they wanted to charge me $1,000.00 to replace my ignition coils, when a pack of coils only costs $210.00. This place is legitimately a scam. I asked for a refund and they absolutely refused, stating that they "need to pay their technicians for their work." Yeah, let me just pay some worker $200.00 for an OBD scan. Absolutely ridiculous. PLEASE for the love of god avoid this place like the plague. P.S. - I ended up getting the coils for $210.00 and taking the 15 minutes or so to put them in myself, when they told me it'd take them multiple business days to complete. I had an excellent buying experience from Skyline Ford. We found a car via CarGuru and sent a message late in the evening to check for availability. I had a message from Tanika, our sales rep from Skyline, had messaged us right away the next morning. We live 2 hours from the dealership and Tanika was incredibly responsive all day on a Saturday helping us with myriad of questions. By the time we were ready to drive down to get she had all of the paperwork ready to go. We were literally in and out of the dealership in less than an hour. The finance folks provided us with all of our options and additional information but they were not pushy. The true MVP was Tanika - They had mentioned that Tanika was new, but I did not realize until after my purchase that we were actually her first sale! She knew SO much about our 2024 Mach e Rally! In fact, we were at another dealership the week before and they hardly knew anything about the car. I was told on phone after my original call (3ish) months prior to call back in a couple months to see if they had the recall piece for my Explorer. I called and they were confused why the original service rep didn't have me come in to get a part ordered. They said they would install it and inspect and that I had an air bag recall which was concerning. Just to go pick it up find out they didn't have the part and there was no airbag recall. 11/22/24: Purchased $120k F250 that has to the have the engine replaced at 263 miles. 12/11/24: Update: The Skyline Sales team is just about worthless. We have not heard from them since 11/26 while they scramble to replace the engine and have it back to me by the 30 day return statute per Oregon law. We have since purchased a like truck from Canby Ford and will no longer do any business with Skyline. The mechanical failure is not the fault of the dealership and this can no longer be handled at the dealer level. However, the lack of response from Octavio and Chad, despite repeated calls and messages, is extremely poor customer service. We purchased an additional (2) trucks from them the day following the original purchase (11/12) but it is clear that we do not matter. The only bright spot of that entire operation is the service department. 12/17/24: Still have zero communication with the sales department. John from service kept his promise and called me to let me know the engine was complete, even though he knew I had already purchased another truck elsewhere. We had hoped to develop a local relationship like we have with Hillyer's and, now, Canby to be our fleet supplier. Unfortunately, we will not buy from Skyline again. read more

We have bought numerous company vehicles from Skyline and Don has always been a great help to make it quick and seamless.

My truck was towed twice to Skyline because it suddenly showed multiple error messages and then died and refused to start. Both times they told me "nothing is wrong with this truck" and charged me for the diagnostic. Well, the third time it happened I towed it to the dealership in Woodburn where they found that the problem was the main computer. Luckily it was still under extended warranty but just barely thanks to the delay caused by Skyline. I will NEVER bring my truck back in here and encourage you to avoid them as well. read more

Purchased a Used 2018 Ford Expedition Platinum from the dealership in May. Spoke with the salesman when purchasing regarding the second key and was told he was going to work on it and get back to me. Never heard back, but the sales manager called the following week to "follow up" on the sale and I explained the situation and was told she would check on it and get back to me. I never heard back from her either! Have owned the car for almost 5 months and it is at my local Ford Dealer for the second time. First time was for over $6000 in engine repairs and now it is in the shop for an additional $2600 in A/C repairs. Luckily I purchased the $4000 warranty. I own newer F-150 and have had many issues with my ten speed transmission. I took it to skyline to have a second diagnosis as I didn't not like the way I was treated in Albany. My experience with skyline was no better. They diagnosed my transmission issue as a simple recalibration then foujd a driver side cv axel torn. I paid for the diag, but not the boot. i took my truck to another mechanic to check out the boot, and the shop said it was fine and no need to be replaced. My transmission is still shifting funny and it did not fix anything. Waste of money and time. read more

this dealership has the worst customer service out there, after having my truck towed in to have a fuel bowl replaced, I had to call daily to get up date also when the truck was done it was returned to me with more problems then what I had before.they broke ebp sensor and also failed to connect the sensors they disconnected. after talking with the service manage, he talked with me about how he could fix it, after I talked with him about how we could work together to fix all the issues he said he would call me back, haven't heard back from him. that was 1/27/25, also debris and tools were left in my motor. read more

Imagine a business where every time you interact with it you know you're going to come away frustrated or irritated. That is Skyline Ford. I have never before dealt with a company so reliably annoying as this one. They're really great at selling you a vehicle, but if you need service you should probably go somewhere else ... but unfortunately that means that warranty work will be a headache. I have unfortunately had to interact with them about a half dozen times since I bought my truck a year ago (each time because they failed to perform the requested work adequately) and each time I am amazed how they seemingly manage to go out of their way to disenfranchise customers. I have brought my concerns to their attention on several occasions but things never change. I am seriously thinking of selling my vehicle to buy a different one from a different manufacturer so that I can get better service somewhere else. I would take it to a different Ford dealer, but the nearest one is Albany and that's rather inconvenient. read more

After going through Cars.com to search for a car. I found one at Skyline ford. I was presented with financing by cars.com on the vehicle I was looking at. I received email contact by Lidia Customer Relations Assistant Skyline Ford asking how I would like to be contacted. I responded within a an hour then contacted by Colby Webb sales. asking when I would like to come in a test drive. This was supposed to be online and Once completed I would pickup the vehicle. Colby only contacted me once and has never responded. I was then contacted again by Lidia Customer Relations Assistant asking if I was taken care of. I responded with a yes and a no. It seems that cars. com in only used by them for contact information as there has been no meaningfully fallow up in any way. I was also told By Linda Hi Thank you for informing me. On Saturday, January 19, 2019 we arrived late not expecting enough time for a transaction. I knew the car I wanted, they had it, I liked it and we ultimately made it happen in short order and were out of there shortly after closing. Finance gentleman Tom knew his business and made that quick and easy. Wally graciously explained the navigation and iPhone interface and synced the phone for us. Incredibly expensive, awful customer service. Barely would explain things to me when I'd go pick up my car. Went in to get something fixed that they had fixed 6 months prior. They called me and told me my car was ready, went to pick it up, it was still making a weird sound after one minute of running and so they had to keep it another night and then finally it was ready at 5pm the next day. Still didn't get much explanation from any employees. Just seems like people rushing to do things and not doing a good job. Had to get the same 1500 dollar repair done twice in the last year. read more

My 2018 F150 truck has been in the shop for a ratcheting sound when the accelerator is released, after 5 visits and no repair or knowledge what what's causing the sound, they are saying it's normal. I've lost all confidence in skyline ford and their ability to identify and repair the problem. Update: A week later and the knock in the engine and ratcheting sound when the accelerators released still exists. They've fixed NONE of the issues I brought in for repairs. read more
