What an easy experience from start to finish, and pleasant people !…read more Ladies, you all know that feeling when you wake up to use the restroom and something isn't right. Sure enough, I had the awful feeling Of a UTI. I knew I needed to get in somewhere and fast before the lower back pain started. Admittedly, I called another facility in our area but due to the amount of COVID tests they were doing that day, they were unable to see me. I was scared, upset and felt trapped ... Until I called Skylands and the gentlemen who answered the phone calmed all my concerns and had me come in that day. I was spoken to with such care and support, and was in and out of the office quicker than it took my pharmacy to fill my prescription. Not only that, but the doctor's bedside manner was impeccable and I felt so important and cared for. I've been to a lot of urgent care type places, specifically for UTIs, and none have made me feel as safe, cared for and respected as Skylands Thank you to EVERYONE who works here. While I can't say I will be back (fingers crossed I won't) if I ever find myself in need of care , they will be my first call.

She asked me about insurance information and she told that I can come in next day . when I came on next day, on Saturday the receptionist and nurse practitioner, Aaron rejected to help me initially because they "don't have a surgical supply", and later when I told that I would bring surgical supply and and I have all discharge paperwork where it was indicated that could do it by myself, but because it's on the head, I could not do it. The nurse practitioner Aaron was not very compassion and he told that without order from the surgeon, he cannot change a dressing. As a physician by myself I would consider such behavior of medical staff and unprofessional. I told them that just yesterday I had similar services in another urgent care without any problems. They told me go back to them. I am planning to contact with is a board of medical examiners of state of New Jersey with a complaint for such treatment me as a patient.

Do NOT ever go to this office if you care about your health, well being, and mental sanity !…read more 1. The original doctor - dr sandhu has a ton of articles written about him on the internet and in local papers ( look them up - you will be in shock and awe ) 2. His son (who took over the practice) and the reason why they begged all their patients to stay went on a 2 month vacation from end of November until end of January ) AND did not staff the practice with any additional help. They literally have 1 doctor who is incredibly sketchy at best 3. They make appointments and keep you waiting for 2 hours past the appointment time and show no remorse stating that they only have 1 doctor 4. They are rude, disrespectful and do NOT care about you as a patient. 5. The office is filthy and dated I truly feel bad for the nurses in the office because they are stuck in an impossible situation with terrible employers !

Making an appointment when you live in Hackettstown, you actually have to confirm you want to come to the Hackettstown office, not go 13 miles out of your way to go to the Succasunna office for some reason. Go figure. I've called the office when they open and have been bounced to their other office location voicemail systems only to call back an hour later to be told that I called the wrong number. Something's fishy here. The parking lot is a disaster, while they are doing more expansion, they have their workmen parked directly on top of the disabled parking spaces. Never again guys.

I recently visited this urgent care due to my mother testing positive for a Covid with an at home…read moretest. We both went in with appointments one at 1:30pm and 1:45pm. We sat there an additional 45 minutes. When they called for my mom I just went in the same room with her. Our test came back one flu one covid. The doctor answered a phone call while being in the room with us. She also asked me about my other health issue and then went into her husband health issues with the same thing as mine for about 15 minutes. Which was reassuring and fine but not for 15 minutes. At the end of the visit she didn't prescribed me anything for the flu because she believed I was at the end of it. The next day I woke up and decided to get an at home test because I didn't believe that I had the flu. I actually tested positive for Covid also went to my regular doctor and I tested positive for Covid there. Moral of the story is that it was very unprofessional that the doctor answered a phone call in the middle of my visit and I got the wrong test results. I haven't ever had another issues at this urgent care. Just this recent time. It's hit or miss with what doctor you get. This doctor I even had to explain medical terminology to.

Today I had a very disappointing experience at the AFC Denville location on Route 10. My family of…read moresix has been going to this office since it opened, and until now, every visit has been positive. Unfortunately, that was not the case today. I arrived with my 10 year old son for his appointment and was greeted by the front desk employee, Eric. The greeting felt cold and dismissive, as though I were interrupting him rather than being welcomed as a patient. I was told that none of the required paperwork had been completed online and that I needed to fill everything out, even though my wife had made the appointment. Wanting to avoid conflict, I calmly agreed and sat down to complete the forms. At that point, my son quietly commented to me that the employee was being rude. After turning in the paperwork, I was abruptly asked for my insurance card, followed by my ID--neither of which were mentioned upfront. Each request required me to repeatedly get up and return to the desk, which added to my growing frustration. I was then informed of a copay amount that appeared to be higher than expected. When I politely asked whether this visit was considered a specialist visit, I was told it was not. I then reasonably questioned why the co-pay matched my specialist rate. The response I received was dismissive: I was told that "the screen" determined the charge and that any issue was my responsibility to take up with my insurance company. Throughout this interaction, I felt as though I was being treated as an inconvenience rather than a long standing customer. The lack of basic courtesy was surprising and disappointing, especially in a healthcare setting. I asked to speak with the manager and was told she was not present. When I asked how to contact her, I was given vague directions to a crowded card display and left to search for her card myself while the employee stood by visibly irritated. I made a conscious effort to remain calm, especially because my son was with me. Once past the front desk, the remainder of the visit went smoothly, and the medical staff treated us kindly and professionally, which I greatly appreciated. I have never written a review before, but this interaction was upsetting enough that I felt compelled to speak up and post my feelings on many local media outlets. Respect and basic manners matter, particularly when dealing with families and children, shouldn't be a lot to ask from an organization that cares. Sadly, due to this experience, we will no longer be returning to AFC Denville after such a dreadful experience. Maybe the most ironic part of this was the waiting room was entirely empty when I went in and when leaving still empty.
