The lady was polite and sweet while I was there. I asked for the Gold Spa pedicure to eliminate…read morecalluses. She didn't use a stone like I expected, she used a machine that really hurt me. I let it go and thanked her when she was done. I paid $65, which is crazy but whatever, and included a tip. It wasn't until I got home that I realized that she never filed my nails down and that she painted my French tips not to the top of the nail but under it. If she had trimmed and shaped the nail in the first place it the French line would have been there. But, she didn't trim the nail so the line is painted somewhere in the middle. Up close it's extremely sloppy. It's been two days and the gel is already peeling off. What I don't understand is how do you not shape the nails in a pedicure??? The cheaper pedicure includes the word shaping. The Gold Star pedicure doesn't say shaping so I'm really confused. Did she purposely not shape my nails? I'm finally looking at my nails up close and realizing it's the worst paint job I've ever seen and the bottom of my feet are exactly the same as when I walked in. Nobody should go here and I'm tempted to ask for a refund.

After she cut them too short, she blow dried them, brought out the hair straightener to try and hide them, and sent me on my way. I've realized since, that neither side of my bangs match at all, she did nothing to try to blend in the bangs, and her technique was completely wrong for curtain bangs. Please don't take appointments for cuts you don't know how to do. Also please don't just send people out once you realize you've ruined their hair without even trying to resolve the issue or give a discount.

I booked A blow out. Ya know? A round brush and blow dryer, the old fashioned blow out. Takes 45 minutes? Might need to touch up with a flat iron for fly always but usually the easiest thing you can do to hair. Because of this massive error in their communication I was told to try and find a DAY OF opening at another salon in town because they could not help me. Day of. The day of my family's Christmas Photo Shoot. Which this blowout was for. In conclusion; I would be sure to verify EXACTLY what you want done and confirm that who ever you are scheduled with can do what you are requesting. And next time your salon screws up scheduling THAT bad that you have to turn a customer away the day she needs a styling, try a little harder to solve the problem. And don't blame the customer.
