Pool area of the rooftop bar. Bring a sweater for after hours.

Very fancy and discrete setting when arriving. Know you are to experience a high end meal. When arrived to the rooftop bar was an amazing skyline view we experienced. A great Brazilian cocktail and appetizer before relocating to the dining room for dinner. Also with a view of another side of the city, but also of the Chefs area, fully open. Michelin Star rating is understood. While maybe a few years ago, service was good, meal was delicious and well presented. Highly recommended for a special occasion. Bring a sweater for after sundown.

Fancy schmancy. Go for the vibes and the views and the presentation. Taste is what you'd expect but it's worth coming once.

Look.. My friend and I came to Brazil for carnival and before we went to Bahia we wanted to try a new and fresh restaurant in the area. We came to the sky bar and we were not disappointed. Excellent food. Excellent service. The ambience is first class. The desserts are delicious and the entrées are unique. I will definitely recommend this to friends and I will be back when I come visit Sau Paulo

One the of the best rooftop in São Paulo. At this place you will enjoy great cocktails, people and an amazing view. The place is divided in three parts: indoor restaurant & bar, and a terrasse. Enjoy, I definitely recommend the place.

When it comes to Sao Paulo nightlife, if you're looking for a chic and classy vibe with an amazing view, Skye Bar at Hotel Unique in Jardim Paulista is where you'll want to go. And, unique it is. The architecture of the hotel itself is worth the visit alone. Depending on what time you arrive, you may have to wait in a line to head up to the rooftop. But, don't worry, you won't need to wait too long until you can head up to this outdoor, rooftop bar. They also have a restaurant, so, you could enjoy a dinner, followed by some pool deck cocktails. For my beverage, I ordered the Passion Rose (Ketel One Vodka, rose syrup, orange blossom syrup, strawberry liqueur, mandarineto, passion fruit and sparkling wine). This was really nice. It has a nice balance of floral sweetness and just a little tartness from the acidity of the fruit.

Never tire of the atmosphere. Best caiparinha in town. And the food is always good. Light fish and chips with potato wedges. Great lobster risotto. Love this place. 12 February 2016 Here for our 5th or 6th time. Still the best caipirinha in town IMO. We ordered a marguerite pizza, which was surprisingly good. Nice thin crust and very flavorful. The agnolotti was just okay,!though. Ceviche good, but fish pieces too big. Spicy tuna crunchy temaki was pretty tasty.

Beautiful spot to grab a few drinks, unwind and admire the pretty São Paulo city view

I would have to deduct a point for making us wait 30 minutes to let us in. I mean I understand you have an "image" to portray but a girl is thirsty. I need a drink! The line was about 30-40 minutes only to find out the bar was half empty. I forgive you Skye because your drinks were strong and your vibe was cool. And as an added bonus the view was amazing! Bring a sweater tho, São Paulo nights can get a lil chilly

Skye can be located at the top of the Unique Hotel in Sao Paulo, a building that can make any jaw drop for its beauty and uniqueness. Parking at this place it's fairly simple, a valet is provided for the cost of $55 Reales. It is a crowded place, so expect long lines and waits before being able to come in. As soon as we were taken upstairs, we were told there were no tables for us to sit, but we could order while standing, this was very strange. We ordered a couple of drinks while a table cleared out, and after our drinks were given I think they forgot about us. People that arrived after us were quickly seated but not us, we had to ask again and they found us a table. We ordered some food, and let me tell you, the presentation is extraordinary, the taste... well... a bit disappointing. The restaurant has a beautiful view of Sao Paulo, a great outdoor sitting area, and a very trendy and minimalistic ambiance that is inviting. While the place is spectacular, it's service is nowhere close to upscale standards. Again, food is the same as the place, flashy, but tasteless.

Chef Mara Salles is well known for celebrating Brazil's regional cuisines, and the restaurant has earned a Bib Gourmand recognition for its quality and value. We had the option to sit inside or on the patio, and since the weather was perfect, we chose the patio. Inside looked inviting too--warm wood, white tablecloths, and a stylish bar. The service was friendly, though our server didn't speak English, which made ordering a little tricky. We used a translator app several times, which worked fine but slowed things down. The food was worth it. We started with the zucchini chips (addictive!) and quickly learned the chilies on the table are very hot--be careful. For appetizers, we had the Comissão de Frente (pastries filled with shrimp) and the Bolinho Errado com Aioli de Pequi (manioc balls with homemade cheese). Both were excellent. For mains, we tried the Bobó de Camarão, a shrimp dish in creamy manioc with coconut--rich and comforting. The Barreado, beef slow-cooked for 10 hours in a clay pot, was tender and deeply flavorful. Yelp Review 2025 #163:…read more One of my birthday meals while in Brazil was at D.O.M. - a 2-Michelin starred restaurant. World-renowned Chef Alex Atala's brainchild. I made a reservation about 2 months prior to coming here. They do charge your credit card for a deposit which they apply to your final bill anyway. Knowing how I've been feeling about tasting menus lately (a general lack of stamina to eat over 10 courses) and my time in São Paulo was very limited, I opted for the Executive Menu which offers traditional Brazilian fare. I arrived 30 minutes early. Upon getting seated, they gave me a welcome drink of alua, a mildly alcoholic drink made by fermenting pineapple rinds, and roasted cashews. Executive Menu: Offered only for lunch Monday to Friday, from 12pm-3pm. You have 3 options for proteins: fish, chicken or beef tenderloin. It comes with rice brown beans and black beans, green salad, beiju with a spread made from fermented cashew, rice, sautéed potatoes, sautéed kale with bacon, breaded banana, and farofa. To finish the experience, you get pudim (Brazilian flan) for dessert. Chef Alex Atala's pursuit of going back to traditional Brazilian cuisine brought this menu together and has been on the menu for more than 25 years since the restaurant opened. I opted for the tenderloin and it was tender. I really liked the potatoes, black beans and rice with farofa. It was a lot of sides. They gave me a coconut cake for my birthday. And I got the chance to meet Chef Alex Atala himself which was the highlight of my trip to Brazil. It was an amazing and unforgettable birthday meal. It started my trip to Brazil on a high! One thing to add is that even Michelin-star restaurants in Brazil do not have a dress code. They prefer you come in with whatever you're comfortable wearing. I unfortunately couldn't find the dress I had planned on wearing so I came in with leggings and a hoodie and they were perfectly fine with it. Unpretentious despite the prestige they have.

Their 12-course tasting menu is offered in an elegant, traditionally-decorated dining room and focuses on a particular theme. On my visit, the inspiration for the menu came from Sertão, a dry region of Northeast Brazil. We were started with a welcome drink of Alua, a sweet and sour mixture of ginger, pineapple, and sugar. The first course consisted of a candy made of cashews paired with smoked cashews; and then three little snacks: a cornmeal puff with fish, a cassava cake topped with cashew butter and cured beef, and a chicken drumstick with farofa. Then came three little dumplings filled with cured meat and served with a buttery pumpkin soup; red rice with butter cheese, fried onions, fried egg white, and a sous vide egg yolk; and beiju (manioc flour cake) served with mocoto, a stew of Andu beans and cow's feet. The three entrees were yellow seabass cooked in banana leaf (using a traditional method from natives); quail with cornmeal mash; and kale layered with bacon and lamb. The transition to dessert started with a puree of Corda beans topped with melon sorbet and pickled wild cucumbers. Then came a dish called "white forest," consisting of green coconut and several preparations of bacuri, a sour citrus fruit. My favorite dessert was "Grandma's pudding," a coconut cake with a caja (tropical fruit) filling and topped with tapioca jelly swirls. And the last course consisted of three little bites: Souza Leao cake (made of coconut and cassava), topped with their signature silver-colored Amazonian ant (which had a crunchy texture and peppery flavor); a crispy Guava biscuit with goat cheese filling; and wedding cake (dried fruit, spices, chocolate) topped with umbu cream (made with a local fruit). The three bites were served on a dried leaf, along with a brewed coffee served in a glass, which was brewed dark with deep caramel notes. Overall, the presentation and execution of the entire tasting menu was exceptional. The waiters explained each of the dishes as they were presented, and changed out the utensils and place settings between courses. Chef Alex Atala even came around the dining room to greet guests, capping off a super memorable experience!
