Instructors were awesome, no complaints there. Very professional, funny, and made us feel welcome and secure. Same with the staff working the desks. Only reason I leave the 3 stars is because of the price of the photos or the videos. I understand that this is a business and needs to make money, but 80 bucks for handheld photos and 130 for videos is kind of ridiculous to me, especially since I already paid 200 per jump. I think every jumper should get at least 1 photo, especially if it's their first time. It was the cheapest place I could find for my employee and I to jump on short notice, but our company wouldn't pay extra for photos so we won't have any for our first experience. But like I said, the workers were 10/10.

A few friends and I decided to give skydiving a try and Skydive Utah exceeded out expectations! We made the reservation and signed our waiver online almost three weeks before the jump (our group had 8 people and it was a fairly easy process) got our confirmations right away. If you are coming with a fairly big group carpooling is the way to go as there are multiple groups and athletes that come regularly (also fun way to get everyone excited). There is no fee to park! The check in process is super easy (show ID, take your weight and pay) once you are done you are required to watch a video on safety and skydiving as a sport. From the check in to after the jump all the staff takes safety super serious (which was very relieving to me as it was my first tandem jump ever). Everyone is super friendly and help you with your nerves. You have to wait a little bit as they have what is called a "manifest" to organize the jumps but in the meantime you get to meet your "instructor" (shoutout to Popko!) gear up, go over your jump and the plane ride, and of course watch all the jumps from airplanes and helicopters. The views from the air are epic and it's honestly worth the price. Definitely recommend paying for the picture packet ($80 when I jumped) they are great quality and get emailed to you super fast. I can't wait to come back and jump again!

Craziest, scariest, funnest experience I've ever had in my entire life. Shout out to my instructor fish, cool ass guy and made the experience so worth it. Shoutout to my girls instructor Matt, he was a super nice guy and also made the experience so worth it as well. I can't remember the 2 camera guy's names but they were super fun and definitely captured every moment. All the staff are super nice and try their best to get you up in the air as soon as possible.

This was my first time ever skydiving!! i turned 18 on june 8th which is the legal requirement to skydive and it was a blast! i went with Mitch who was my instructor & fish who took my videos and photos! they were the best pair and were so rad! i felt so comfortable and safe with both of them and i already know my photos and videos will come out awesome! everyone was so welcoming and excited and it's certainly not something you want to miss out on! it can be scary doing something new and out of your comfort zone, and that's how i felt but the thrill and excitement of that jump is unreal. the views were amazing and i truly don't think you will regret it. enjoy some pictures below from before and after my skydive! ( btw you can go all the way up in the plane with ur instructor and still have the option to not do it if it's not the right timing, just make sure you make it clear to ur instructor!! )

I had the best time of my life! You will see an instructional video, sign a waiver, meet your fellow diver, gear up, board the plane, once the plane is at 13,000 ft above ground you jump with a 50 seconds free fall. The view is impressive. Instructors are extremely professional and made me feel at ease. This is definitely for adrenaline junkies.

Woohoo! As good as it gets! This was my first time skydiving and my brother and I were PUMPED that it wasn't too far away, or too expensive. Their website is EXCELLENT! All of your questions can be answered there, plus they have great videos of what the experience will be like for you. We arrived at 6pm on a Friday (I LOVE how late they're open), and we were told twice that the wind was being uncooperative and we might not be able to jump. I was sad at the prospect of missing the jump, but it did make me feel safe. It's obvious that safety is the #1 priority here. There was a brief instruction video, maybe 10 min long, and other than that most of our time was spent waiting for our turn/the weather/the jumpers etc. I'd recommend bringing a book or being prepared to chat for a while! That being said, they're also all about having fun! You should have seen the mullet on my guy Jake. He was strapped to my back on our trip and the made the experience better by far. His love of skydiving made me feel so lucky to be jumping! He was professional, personable, and knowledgable. I am going again with my little sister as soon as she turns 18. I would recommend this experience, and this place specifically, to anyone looking to skydive.

This was my first time skydiving. Was schedule to go skydiving on July 1st @ 6pm but due to the lovely wind. Skydive Utah called me and asked if I wanted todo a refund or switch to a different day. I was told they had an availability for July 2 @ 12pm which I took. Upon arriving there is a video and some papers you have to sign. Once done with that u get paired with an Instructor who is on the back of you strapped the entire skydive. My overall experience was amazing. Will definitely go again. Look forward to returning to Skydive Utah

My wife bought this experience for me as an early birthday present. I must say, it's one of the best experiences of my life. I highly recommend this place. We did a video package which took no time to edit and it came out awesome! Thanks for breaking the seal on skydiving for me. I can't wait to do my next jump!

You know this is one of the things that's on your bucket list. No need to get your nerves all worked up. The staff are very friendly and will try to ease your nerves on the plane ride up. So on my jump there was a little problem only because I'm smaller built and I went on a day that they didnt have very small tandum jumping instructors or a lighter photographer. The photographer couldnt keep up with us in the air since he was heavier. But that's ok, I had a good time anyways. I recommend doing this at least once somewhere.

(Surprise from my wife!) I loved it!! Would totally do again; experience was entirely safe, informal and accommodating.
My friend and I went on our first ever skydive today. She had Bryan, and I had his son, Ryker, as instructors. They were both professional and very careful about safety, but made sure we were enjoying it as well. We each got the photo package and are looking forward to seeing the photos when they're emailed to us later. It was scary, terrific, peaceful, intense, and beautiful all at once, and I would gladly go again! The only downside was waiting for 90 minutes to go up after check-in and the safety video. But, they are incredibly busy and the plane never stopped running. read more

before I start I just want to say the skydiving team and the camera crew were incredible and it is because of them i'm giving 2 stars, this is purely about the booking and reception department. I booked this for my 2 year anniversary as a surprise and that was where i had unknowingly made a 3 week long investment of both time and money, they cancelled on us the first time due to weather, thankfully over text, which we were understanding about. The second time we drove an hour to get there and waited another 3 1/2 hours for them to cancel once again due to weather, we were a little irritated but again we were understanding about it, we asked if we could reschedule on a weekend because we both have busy work schedules in the service industry, an industry they could learn a thing or two from. they did not regret to inform us it would cost us extra to reschedule on a weekend, we then had to allocate a time in our schedules for the next week at 11am, upon arrival at 11 they informed us we would be able to jump if we twiddle our thumbs for 2-3 more hours. when patiently waiting for our jump we then witnessed a few employees taking the liberty to drop their drawers and take a hot steamy piss in front of us on the gravel, there are perfectly good bathrooms here mind you. at this point we've had it and we ask if they can put us on an earlier jump which the lady very unkindly informed us that it's not possible and we "must have missed the part about waiting for 4 hours" letting us know that we're actually lucky to be getting to jump in 3 hours when in fact we're 3 weeks past due at this point. we ask then if we can get some kind of discount for our inconvenience, with an ear to ear smile and burly voice she let us know we had already gotten 30% off the video package from a sale they were having for everyone 2 weeks ago making it $115 instead of $150, we then asked about a refund policy to which she let us know is possible as long as we're willing to let them feed their gluttony on our $150 security deposit. safe to say if you're looking to skydive, consider ogden. read more

first off i want to say that the divers and film teem couldn't of been better they were amazing. on the other hand, the people in charge of booking were awful this was our 3rd attempt of trying to jump, we got canceled on the last two times after waiting 3.5 hours due to weather which we were understanding about. when we rescheduled the 2nd time they informed us that we would still have to pay more to go on a weekend. we got there at our scheduled time they gave us a 2 hour wait time. we tried to get on an earlier jump they said no, there was no wiggle room to try and ease our frustration. the day we actually did jump our scheduled time was 11 and we finished at 2:30. the actual skydiving part took probably 25 minutes. the only reason im giving this 2 stars instead of 1 is because the diving crew was absolutely phenomenal. he walked me through everything multiple times and was checking all the safety straps repeatedly and was overall great. but honestly if your looking to have a decent time with the booking process go with ogden instead. on the flip side they had great quality bathrooms, very clean, too bad the staff was peeing outside on the rocks in front of of the parking lot. read more

This was my first time skydiving and everyone here was so fun and nice. I gotta give a shout out to Monte, who I jumped with. He explained things very well and very thorough, multiple times, so I was never really nervous. He explained things in a way that was easy to understand, and didn't make it seem too serious/scary. 10/10 would jump with them again. As a first time jumper, I was completely at-ease. I looked through the website, and it was very informative and straight-forward. The pre-jump video gave all the needed information. The packages available are great - I HIGHLY recommend the full package for first-time jumpers. I LOVE my videos and photos! I was happy the videographer grabbed some shots of my friend, and her videographer grabbed some shots of me. I felt completely safe the entire time. I was asked before anything happened - harnessing, hooking together, jumping, everything. I was never uncomfortable. Jake was my tandem instructor and he was AWESOME. He was funny and yet informative. It was the most perfect experience, honestly. 10/10 would jump again. read more

I don't usually write reviews on places. But Skydive Utah deserves this small amount of time it takes to share my experience! I've been to a lot of dropzones and this is by far one of the best ones! The staff and jumpers were all super friendly, helpful and always smiling! Can't wait to come back! Thank you for making this place such a great experience! read more

Hands down one of the best experiences of my life. I was absolutely terrified to go skydiving. But also excited. Everyone I know that had done it always said it was amazing. So I had to do it at least once. Everyone that works there is very accommodating and friendly. They want to make sure you enjoy yourself but are also safe. There was a bit of a change in plans, they had a very minor issue and had to reschedule us for the next day, but as they say, they have a perfect safety record and would not go unless everything is exactly right. My instructor was Shaun. He was awesome. A few of the instructors were picking on me when they realized I was scared but it's all in good fun. They put my nerves at ease and made the experience great. They definitely make you feel safe and like you will be totally ok. I would definitely go again. This place is pretty great. read more

This experience was more than I could have ever expected! This was my boyfriend and I's first time skydiving and everything was fantastic. I has Josh and my boyfriend had Matt. Both were excellent. I wasn't nervous and told josh I was up for whatever and he did it all. We flipped out of the plane and it was AWESOME. My bf was definitely scared/nervous. Matt was perfect for him. He was very calm walked him through everything and when the time came to jump for him to have a wonderful time. So much so that he said he wanted to do it again. The scenery is amazing. Water, mountains, you get to see it all. PS paying for the videographer is well worth the money. We can't stop watching ours. Thanks Skydive Utah for a wonderful time :) read more

Professional, exhilarating and safe! Parking was a breeze. The safety video was about 10 minutes then a quick tutorial from Zack (my tandem dive partner). Great guy. Explained everything perfectly. My only complaint is that I feel $65 for some GoPro pictures are a lot (don't get me started on the video). I get that they are 100+ pictures and this is a wild activity, but woah man. Back in the sky again after an almost 4 year absence. New owners and vibe have this place the happening spot to be for skydiving in all of Utah.....just trust me as I most certainly know! Glad to be back and getting aired out from the fastest climbing jumpship in the entire nation (sorry Mike Mullins!). DO NOT waste your time, energy, money or self esteem by driving to Ogden and looking for what some have called a dropzone....Make the wise choice and jump here at Skydive Utah! read more

I started jumping with Jack back in 1997 when he was out by what is now Eagle Mountain. Worked for him after retiring one summer a few years back when Mike and Mark were jump staff. Jack passed on a ton of experience, procedures, safety practices, plane and equipment when he sold to Mike and Mark. I trusted them enough that I had two of my kids jump there, as well as Matt Stutzman. During the summer when the place is slammed, patience grows a little thin, and it comes out in the way the customers are addressed. These guys are pounding it on jump manifests, and everyone is working hard. My experience is that a little more relaxed personality and direct involvement with new jumpers would go a long way. This does not mean that safety has to suffer, as that needs to be stringent. I'll be the first to admit my review reflects a two year absence from the school, and some of my perceived issues have probably worked themselves out. As an aside: Tooele Co. desperately needs to build a more permanent FBO where the current very aged hanger sits, and do more in prep for the anticipated 100k new residents and even more tourists heading our way in the next 5 years. This would add a sense of professionalism to our airport, provide a weatherproof option over the structure that is there now, provide an opportunity for future jet business that is sure to come as Mitime expands the raceway with a drag strip, a Hotel, and other event services (if they follow through). Skydive Utah would be able to offer improved services, and possibly extend their service year. read more

Haven't even jumped and we are already upset, got here an hour before our appointment got everything signed and paid for, 3 hours later we are still sitting here waiting and watching people that got here after us and didn't have appointments already gone and us nothing, no one has kept us informed of anything so we can know what's going on so we felt forgotten I know that it takes time but it would make a difference if they actually care and keep you informed of when it will be your turn or why they are sending people before you, anyways they kind of ruin my experience. Things were handle very poorly or maybe they are just racist. read more
