Bucket list item complete - Check! Bucket list item added - Go again! My wife and I decided to skydive for our anniversary this year. As we were trying to decide who to go with, we went to Mapleton City's 24th of July celebration where we saw Justin do a show jump (one of our awesome jump masters). My jump master was Dan. He was very good at relaying information and a funny guy. He talked me through the things I needed to do (including smiling for the camera) and we made the ascent. Getting onto the jump platform is quite a rush, and then doing a gainer off of it is even better! Terminal velocity is a strange feeling that I recommend you try for yourself. Probably the only unpleasant part of my dive was when the chute fully deployed, but once you slow down and take in the views you quickly forget everything else. I wanted to do something memorable for my oldest Boy's 21st Birthday as a surprise. I was a bit nervous I must admit but these guys were totally professional and put me at ease. The plane ride was awesome over the mountains. The jump spectacular. The best parts were the whole thing. Better than that, my boy loved it. He thought it was the best Birthday gift ever! It's an awesome bonding activity. Something we will talk about for years to come.This truly was a great experience. We came from Salt Lake. We checked out the other jump sites but this was by far the most scenic. I'm over 200 lbs. I would suggest if you are on the bigger side wear a thicker pant or shorts with plenty of room in the crotch. Your boys will thank you. read more

The staff at Skydive The Wasatch were AMAZING! My daughter did her first skydive for her 18th birthday with her uncle and they made the experience so great for her! They are all very fun & friendly. They make sure that you feel comfortable and confident in what you are doing. My daughter never once got nervous....she was pumped the whole time. She loved it and can't wait until the next time she gets to do it. I admit....I was scared of it and thought it was something I would never want to do but after experiencing it with my daughter and seeing how the staff at Skydive The Wasatch made you feel very comfortable I think I am ready to do a skydive and plan to come in the spring with my husband to do it for our first time. read more

I *loved* my experience at Skydive the Wasatch. First time skydiver, went tandem. The instructors were professional, funny, great, and they didn't let me die falling 10,000 feet from a plane. I went with Dan who made me feel super comfortable, safe, and in good hands. It's clear he really wants people to have the best experience possible - which I definitely did. I never knew I needed to be thrown from a plane before my experience here - now I can't wait for my next jump. Skydive the Wasatch has set the bar impossibly high for all other skydiving companies. What most surprised me about skydiving was how we stuffed five humans into a plane the size of a refrigerator box, then how my tandem dude and I actually CROUCHED ON THE WHEEL OUTSIDE THE PLANE. I thought that was only fake 007 stuff. Then the backflip-type drop... seeing the plane receding from view above me... my skin flapping like the best kind of Relief Society chorister...the blissful float when the parachute slowed. I was also surprised how much my body's immediate flush of adrenaline WORE ME OUT. I feel like I've run a marathon. Shaking afterward. Chemicals like that have never run through these veins! WOW. Skydive the Wasatch was such an awesome experience! About an hour south of Salt Lake, where you leave behind the smog/inversions for a skydive with great views. In the plane ride up, we saw Utah Lake, the Little Sahara Sand Dunes, and flew over Mt Nebo. The instructors covered the safety and operational procedures clearly and simply. I jumped with Leeroy and he was great. He did a good job with the video too. It was our 1st time skydiving and we'd definitely do it again. I absolutely LOVED my experience with Skydive the Wasatch! The entire staff was incredible and they were extremely aware of how people were feeling and made sure everyone feel at ease. Eric and Leon are incredibly experienced and it showed. At first I was apprehensive about going in such a small plane since our group had to split into 4 groups. It actually made the whole experience better as you were able to be right next to the landing area and be more involved with the day rather than just your own jump. Such a neat experience with them! I was the only one jumping at the time and the guys at skydive the Wasatch were great! Very welcoming to my mom who was there to watch it. Very willing to take her up also, they almost had her convinced haha the views in the plane are amazing and they make sure to show you everything! I ended up being uncomfortable after the parachute went up and the instructor was very helpful to try and make adjustments so my legs were not tight! This team of amazingly talented skydivers, fantastic pilot, and ground crew who expertly inspect and pack each parachute truly delivered an amazing experience for our group of 11, ranging from 60 yrs to 25 yrs. old. I have been wanting to go skydiving for over 6 years now. Most people suggested going to Moab for my first, but I am so glad I decided to go with Skydive the Wasatch. The staff were incredibly friendly, funny, efficient, and safe. Being the last run of the night we were able to get really close to the mountains and spend some time seeing the sights. This was such an incredible experience! The staff was really welcoming and fun and mad enough feel as comfortable as you could before you jumped out of an airplane. They made sure they knew all of there safety precautions and the length they go to keeping you safe. You get a beautiful 20 minute plane ride and before you jump out of the plane you get to stand outside on a ledge as the plane moves through the sky. Overall this was an amazing experience! This was the best skydiving experience we've had! We were fortunate to book on a day that it was just my boyfriend and I jumping at that time slot. The entire experience felt very personalized and we received instruction, (reassurance and confidence for me!) and a ton of information about the jump, plane, area and instructors. 100% worth the drive and the cost was very reasonable and affordable for what was included and the 80+ photos we were sent makes a life time of memories. I was TERRIFIED before heading in! Like, scared for days! They were amazing with reassuring me that I would in fact live, Ira very uncommon to die skydiving, and no fatalities with their management. My instructor was amazing with jokes and keeping me talking to hello nerves, then the fall was awesome!! As you can see, I didn't die! I had my first jump today, It was not short of amazing. The instructor Jordan was very knowledgeable and the Jump went without a problem. There was never any pressure or anything like that. I plan on getting cerified and plan on making many jumps at this Drop Zone! The staff is very friendly! I highly suggest just going for the 10.5 k ft jump since you will wish you went higher if you only fly up to 8k. Stop thinking about going skydiving and GO! Aric H read more

I wouldn't jump anywhere else I had to be specially accommodated for hyper sensitive to sound ears and the staff was just amazing! They were all so great making sure I was okay - that my earplugs and earmuffs were in place, tied on, and secured and that I was comfortable. My instructors were enthusiastic and professional the entire time as they walked us through the gear, process, and safety procedures. The price was the best I've seen for skydiving. read more

I wasn't sure how fun jumping out of a plane could be, or I thought it would just be up in the air, then floating to the ground and then we're out of there, but the guys were really personable and made the experience a whole lot more fun because of it. If you get Leon as your tandem buddy, you're lucky. I literally never write reviews on anything, so the fact that I'm writing one now is to really recommend these guys. It was awesome! read more

Memory of a lifetime for our family. Already planned on doing again when our next child turns 18. Only some planned on jumping but the Wasatch skydive team instilled so much confidence that everyone ended up jumping and loved it. Confident in their experience and attention to every detail.
