JUST. DO. IT. The Skydive Georgia team is full of professional rockstars that will make your experience unforgettable. I dove tandem with Jake and he was amazing. He's done over 8K dives and made me feel super safe and confident. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. ALSO book your appointment on a weekday. There was no wait time and we had the whole place to ourselves. We were up in the air within 20min!

This place was awesome, the staff was dope and I didn't die!!! We're pretty sure we did the paperwork when we paid but did it again on the iPads when we arrived. We watched the informational safety video and headed to the desk to check in. We bought two pairs of goggles and a hoodie... Not cheap but necessary. The wait was about 2.5-3 hours but we got to watch others go up and land from the observation deck. I was paired with Jake (from State Farm) and he was awesome, pretty chill so I wasn't freaked out. Gave me a few instructions, talked to me while we went up and we were the last to jump out of the plane, 14,000 feet I still can't believe I did it but it was awesome.... Can't say I'll do it again though but my friend already put a down payment to return lol Happy Burfday Ashton!!!

Absolutely amazing! I had the best time and this was an experience to remember. I decided to go last minute for my birthday and I couldn't have asked for a more memorable day! Charlie was great, he kept me calm and focused and helped me to take in the entire moment. He gave great references and reminded me to breathe and just enjoy the moment. I have already recommended this place to so many friends and people asking about it. I got the video package which was well worth it and included pics and video for keepsake that were nicely edited. I hope to one day visit again and have the opportunity to do it all over again Great Team!

It was the best birthday gift EVER. My instructor Charlie was super cool. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed which made this the best experience I've ever had. Crash my videographer made me look cool while doing it! I'm definitely coming back again. If you're scared, they got you. From the moment we walked in everyone was very calm and reassuring. The environment was so cool that my sister's boyfriend came to watch me go but ended up in the plane right next to me! We had a blast!

    Charlie was Awesome!!!

It was AWESOME!!!! This was my first jump and I have already pre-booked my 2nd. It's really easy. You sign a waiver, watch a video then wait to suit up. While waiting to jump it is nice to see others landing from their jump. I definitely bought a video package for my first jump and it did not disappoint. Knock it off your bucket list and JUST DO IT!!!! Charlie was freaking awesome to have as a tandem instructor. He made the experience easy and fun!!! Topped it off with Jake "Statefarm" to video. Go tomorrow and enjoy an experience.

Warning. DO NOT WEAR MASCARA. I wore mascara during my jump and it smudged like crazy. I looked like a pyscho when I landed and people thought I cried.  Anyways, had my first tandem skydiving here at skydive over georgia. They were having a summer special you had to call for. 1 person tandem skydiving was $157, and I purchased the video deluxe I believe $119 dollars. I scheduled a tandem jump with my boyfriend, our scheduled time was 11:00AM on 9-8-2020. We walked in, filled out the information for the video, the front lady took our weight, and purchased $10 goggles( I called ahead of time and asked if we can purchase the goggles from Amazon or somewhere else and they said no). The goggles must be purchased because of the COVID-19 Pandemic ( according to the front desk lady). This did not make sense to me, because no one was wearing mask inside of the building. There are signs that says follow social distancing, but social distancing is not enough. I would have felt safer if everyone, including the instructors were wearing masks before the jump and have them removed after.  No temperature checks were taken as well, so you honestly don't know who has COVID-19 or not...The goggles threw me off because they could have disinfected them, but I believe they wanted extra money from customers. My boyfriend and I were the only people wearing masks. No one else was wearing masks, which was quite strange to me coming from califorrnia. They do have one hidden fee called booking fee, Ibelieve it was around $57.00. We were the first set of jumpers and waited about an hour and a half to get on the airplane and skydive. My instructor was Charlie. He doesn't mention any instructions to you before the jump, but instead on the airplane. I believe he does it this way so you don't get nervous and just enjoy your time skydiving.  Jumping out of the airplane was quick  and easy. Landing with Charlie was easy too. The only thing was I looked crrazy when Ilanded. My hair was a mess and my eyes loooked like PANDA eyes.  My video recorder jumper name was David. He was very nice and kept us informed about everything. He is a talker which calmed our nerves down.  According to the paper they give you, your skydiving should be available from 24-48 hours. However, my video was not available after 48 hours, but 72 hours. Overall, jump was fine, they need to adapt extra precautionary measures because I did not feel safe :)

I did this for my 40th birthday! The turn up was real! Lol! Completely liberating and Aaron was my guide. He made the dive seem effortlessly and the reason why I would come back again. All together I had six brave friends that are now officially friends for life LOL! Truly a memorable day. In hindsight, it was perfect that Aaron gave me the most detailed instructions as we were ascending. Otherwise, I would've been like "huh" "oh wait do what?!" Lol. When you get there you don't immediately jump and that is specified when I purchased the activity. There was a few folks ahead of us plus I came with a group so it was a must we were together. The skydive staff accommodated us and I am thankful for it. It was probably an hour's time after arrival that we jumped, which was good. It allowed me to get any extra nerves out I needed but I must say we were waiting on one of my group members to arrive. But we were expecting it to take anywhere from an hour to 3 hours to jump so they exceeded expectations on that front! We reserved for 8am so we could get it out the way and not spend our day making our nerves worse. So if you do it...go early! As far, as the jump? Well I'll let you be your own judge. I would def do it again...with skydive GEORGIA! Oh and don't eat prior to. Save the liquor and whatever your choice until after you jump. Be in the moment! And also so you don't or yourself! S/O Aaron who made it my first jump well worth it!

Did this for my birthday. we went on a groupon, this place doesn't look like much from the outside when you get there but we had so much fun. they give a lot of information and safety stuff, that you should maybe pay attention to. but they are very safe from the time you get there up until you are finished the jump. they have good customer service and are very attentive to your concerns... you will have concerns. the plane looked pretty old and you are packed in pretty good but it gets the job done. there are weight limits , i think 250lbs.. so keep that in mind. this place is out in the country so you might want to pack a lunch.

What you need to know: Long wait times so get there an hour before your reservation time. They may be a bit pricier than others, but worth it. Get the photo packages! Great instructions to help you out as your nerves increase. Some may crack jokes but it's all in good fun. The whole process once it's your turn takes about 10mins from the ride up to landing. Been wanted to skydive for a long time now, and days before my 31st bday, I decided to take the plunge! My instructor was Jeff aka El Jefe. He was amazing! Made sure to be clear about the instructions and hyped me up to get me ready for what is always a nerve wracking experience. My videographer (I got the photo/video package where someone jumps with you), Matt was equally as amazing and a great hype man to make sure we got a great video and good photos to share. I got here about 45mins before my reservation time and only waited about an hour. This is probably because I did it in mid-November so it was a bit cold and I guess that deters people, but I've heard of wait times up to 3 hours in the summer, so make sure you get there as early as you can! From strapping me up to make sure I was secure (they check everything MULTIPLE times) with a little humor to lighten up my nerves, to making sure to talk to me on the plane ride up, to the jump, everything went seamlessly well and I was thoroughly enjoyed by my experience. The only caveat I had was the straps did hurt my inner thigh after the chute deployed and during the float down but it was only a few minutes so it wasn't so bad. Would highly recommend Skydive Georgia to anyone thinking of making the jump for the first time, and would definitely be back if I felt the urge to again - they also give discounts after your first jump if you put a small down payment down the same day that's good for two years!

    Nothing like it!!

My girlfriend got this for me for my birthday. We had previously discussed it and she surprised me. I'm so glad she did. It was that incredible. You just can't duplicate this sort of experience with anything else. It was truly amazing. But I wanted to comment about all of the negative reviews about this place. There is a lot of truth to the idea that it is all dependent upon the instructor you have. I had Ronnie, he took me through it as he strapped me into my harness and I felt fairly well informed. Having been in the military, I am comfortable with high risk activities having little instruction and lots of experience. Lol. My girlfriend's instructor gave her very little information and the whole gang often made several jokes about skydiving calamities. I took it all in stride. If you have ever been around the military or high risk activity groups before, humor is the most common and effective coping device. Don't take offense. The truth of the matter is there is very little to tell you about your experience. There are just a couple of things to keep in mind. And honestly, you will forget it all anyway as soon as your butt leaves the bench. So they could give you a three day course on sky diving and it would do you little to no good. Just: keep your head up as you go out the door (my instructor had to pry my head back from looking down at the ground) keep your legs behind you, arms out, and when you land, lift your feet up. That is really it. So don't stress out if they don't go over the aerodynamics of falling at 120 MPH, it won't matter anyway. My girlfriend and I had a blast. She was unsettled about not getting a lot of instruction, but when we were back on the ground, my instructor told us that hers was one of the best in the area and had been jumping since he was a kid. I know it is completely counter-intuitive to relax when you don't receive a doctoral dissertation when you are preparing to do something like this, but it really is going to be okay. So get ready for the time of your life!!!

The best skydiving place hands down. They will work with you every step of the way. They made my birthday weekend the best. If you are going skydiving you have to come here.

The BEST place to skydive in Georgia hands down. The sign-up process is fast and clear, the pre-jump training is as in depth as you want. They are very conscious about COVID-19 and health. Jeff D. was my instructor and he made the whole process exciting but calming. We got the film package, which comes with 2 other guys that jump with you, and they are hype!! Lol if you want security, go ahead and pay for the videos cause they also got your back. Super fun, best time of my life. Signing up again soon.

Went on my first skydive yesterday and took my girlfriend for her birthday. I had Ronnie as my tandem instructor. After a weather delay pushed our times back, we got to sit around and chat with all the instructors and people which was absolutely a blast. They all seemed like a close family and made the experience alone very personable. We ended up getting a sunset jump in and my instructor, Ronnie, was absolutely amazing! He was very informative on what to do and we got to do several back flips out of the plane which was awesome. He was extremely professional and so much fun to jump with! My videographer was able to film my jump beautifully and i got to see it when we landed. Ultimately it was a wonderful experience all around and I cannot wait to get back in the air! The scenery was beautiful as well! Props to Ronnie and the rest of the team for creating such a relaxed family like hangout for adrenaline seekers all around! Thanks "Skydive the farm" for everything, I can't wait to be back! -Blase R.

The media package was well worth it and the parents who were not with us especially appreciate the videos of their kiddos. Where do I begin. I booked this last month 9/30, to be exact. I understood that any weather events etc. may result in a reschedule and I was willing to take that chance. I called the 677-2700 number the day before to confirm we were good to go and was greeted with a voicemail that said for a faster response to text that same number and I did, no response, I should've known, I never received a return call to either the call or text and was told they had no record of either when we showed up for the flight (has that ever happened to you? Not me and I live and die by my phone for work). I have screen shots of all these calls and texts. I called another number (the day of) listed on the confirmation receipt that went to voicemail after three rings and again another text that said they were on another call and to text for a response, this was one hour before flight time, no response. I called and called again only to get a text, finally, that the plane was in maintenance and i would have to reschedule, 20 minutes before our scheduled flight. My drive was two hours plus in Atlanta traffic ONE WAY for this. The suite they give you at the airport has almost zero mention of this company and there was no one there, I was told by the person (that never gave their name) that they had purchased the company from the prior owner with all the details of the squabbles resulting from this change in ownership. I don't care about any of that. Ask yourself before booking with these folks, I presume a loved one will be 10k plus feet in the air with you, would you trust them with that responsibility? This booking is an automated process, they have my email, my cell number, about anyway you could hope to contact me. If you're going to tell me the plane is in maintenance, wouldn't you, as a business owner, look at what you have booked and contact those people in advance to inform them given this was known well before? So I ask you again, do you want to be in a plane, with a loved one owned and operated by people that conduct their business in this manner? If you do, I pray for you. Maybe my girl and I dodged a bullet but they ruined something for someone so special. I ask you to look at the prices, this is not a cheap endeavor and in this day and age to not be able to communicate effectively is inexcusable. This is not a traveling fair, this is serious business so take this for what its worth. Hit me up if you want/can, I'll share all the texts. I'll be contacting all proper authorities to look into these people, hell, I've done Ifly and there was more professionalism and safety involved than anything i experienced with Biplane Rides over Atlanta by far. Best of luck. Be Safe, RN

My wife bought a ticket for the open biplane for my 45th birthday. It was an unfathomable expense…read morefor our family, but I was so excited. In the week leading up to the flight, I called five times to try to get details; not once did they call back. The day before, I called to check in and again no one answered. I left a voicemail. Just 15 minutes before the flight time, the plane was nowhere in sight and I got a text message that they cancelled it because they hadn't heard from me! After responding with proof that I had checked in, they then claimed that the plane was broken. To top it all off, they didn't even offer a refund. Great way to ruin a birthday, Biplane Rides over Atlanta!

Stay away! By far the worst customer service of any business I've heard of. This company is an…read more"adventure sports" broker of sorts, booking reservations for things like skydiving and balloon rides across the country. My boyfriend initially purchased a Living Social gift certificate for a balloon ride this summer in the Philadelphia area. The Living Social deal was only for one person, which wasn't entirely clear from the description, so he purchased a second ticket directly from the company. Our initial flight was scheduled for a Sunday sunrise time in late August, but had to be rescheduled due to weather. This is where it gets messy. The Living Social voucher was cancelled and refunded because, like most of these deals, it had sold out and the company was unable to keep up with demand, and had completely booked up through the expiration date. My boyfriend purchased a second ticket from the company, and went about trying to reschedule for another date for us. He went back and forth with a representative for two weeks, attempting to schedule a date, confirm, reconfirm, etc. The rep finally said she had a date, had confirmed with the pilot and all he had to do was call and confirm again the next day. No dice. Once he called again, the manager (a different person that we'd spoken to previously) said there was no record of his transaction or reservation. Inconvenient, for sure. My boyfriend went back and forth AGAIN with this manager, trying to secure a date, even though the day prior a rep said we were booked and confirmed for Saturday morning. The manager said we had the option of a Sunday evening flight, which was inconvenient for us but we wanted to go soon before it got cold. My boyfriend told the manager he would check with me and call back, at which point the manager CANCELLED the reservation without asking. There's far too much communication error at this company. Upon speaking with the pilot we would have been flying with (the broker is based in GA but uses local pilots depending on where you're located), my boyfriend learned this isn't the first time the broker has lost clients due to this difficult-to-deal-with behavior. We still have not been able to book a date and are at our wits end dealing with incompetent, rude and careless managers. To add insult to injury, the manager of the company didn't even take the time to use my boyfriend's correct first or last name during the credit card dispute statements! His name is right there! At least have respect enough for your customers to use the correct name when dealing with paperwork. How absolutely careless and rude. We have no choice now but to deal with this terrible company or throw hundreds of dollars down the drain. Stay far far far away.

Our skydiving trip was cancelled due to the weather and I tried to get a refund. I was told the tickets were non-refundable and that I could use the tickets up to two years of purchase. Great! Well now it comes time for me to use the tickets and they DO NOT answer the phone and I am given the option to leave a message for a call back. I have left 10 messages in the last week and still have yet to get a call back. I'm not sure if this company is still in business, if not they took my money and ran. DO NOT Purchase from this company EVER.
