It's rare to find original drop zones like this. What a blast! Pappy, Indy and Mikey made me feel at home. Eagle Creek has some of the most friendly and experienced jumpers in Oregon. They give you the confidence to step off into the unknown for the time of your life. My best friend found this place on Groupon and took me there as a surprise while I was in town. She and I both always wanted to skydive. The actual jump itself was great. The guy I did tandem with was kind and professional, but arrived later and that was his part-time gig. The first thing I saw pulling up was a confederate flag and was very put off by it. The owner had a political shirt on dissing democrats (something with a donkey and jack-ass), I rolled my eyes and tried to ignore it. Was trying to convince myself that politics don't matter in this case- skill and safety do. But, if it were just me and it wasn't someone doing it for me as a gift, I would have left because I think it is unprofessional for a business that advertises on Groupon to that. I did also see the Antifa propaganda and a huge Trump/Pence 2020 sign inside. It was a very IN YOUR FACE power dynamic thing and did take a bit away from an otherwise amazing experience. Ok so getting past the symbols, the real kicker is after the Jump was done, dude had the audacity to bring up his shirt to my friend and I- saying we never asked about it. I told him that I don't agree with his sentiment and think it's incredibly off-putting to have that symbolism everywhere and engage customers in politics. Obviously if I didn't comment I didn't want to talk about it and I was trying VERY hard to remember why I was there and not let politics bug me. Then he proceeded to tell me as I waited for my video that the confederate flag isn't actually the flag of the confederacy and blah blah. I told him what he says may technically be true, but it is now a symbol of hate from an insurgent force and if he was patriotic he wouldn't celebrate the people who lost trying to overthrow our government. The place looked like a junk yard. They had beer bottle caps on the ground. They also had racist propaganda all over the place. They then charged me more money once arriving. When I tried to make the appointment I called 3 times and they didn't answer so I used their website, it said they would call me back to discuss the terms, it never happened. They also are not using masks or sanitizing anything after being used by other people, the goggles they gave my friend and I to wear were shared with two other people before us. read more

So much fun. Did a static line skydive with a buddy. Stez was our instructor. Lots of instruction which is def needed. Went smooth as silk. Had a slight malfunction with my parachute. But with the instruction, I fixed the problem with the quickness. Really great all around. read more

Wow, Bob was great. Bob's an instructor. Super cool dude who's basically a living legend in the skydiving world makes you feel secure even though you're about to jump out of a plane at 10,000 ft. Mark, another instructor, was awesome and runs a killer training sesh. Jill's a badass who gave me a free T-shirt just because I'm getting married or whatever. Keep it up, Jill. You're great. Ralph is awful. He's a kind of manager at the place. Grumpy demeanor and poor customer service skills and bad management. I came in a group of four. Two of the group went first and the other guy and I went last after I told Ralph we wanted to go together. We had to wait 4 hours. I'll probably go skydiving again, but at a place with better management and organization. read more

This was my first and only skydiving experience so far. Mike Ellis was my instructor. He has a ton of experience under his belt with over 11,000 skydives, over 4,000 of those were tandem jumps. Mike was very thorough with explaining what we were going to do to make sure everything went smoothly and how we were going to do it. He put my mind at ease with his confidence and reassurance. This was my first skydiving experience and it was great! I jumped tandem with Mike and my friend jumped tandem with Jason. Mike led us through the short jump training and made sure we understood all instructions. He was thorough, very professional, and knowledgeable. He gave clear directions and showed us the plane and grounds, and what to expect during "training." All of the precise and calm instructions put me at ease and made this whole experience fantastic! I took my 18 yr old daughter for our first jump together before she heads off to college, and after waiting what seemed like forever for the clouds to dissipate, it turned out to be an absolutely beautiful day! I'm so glad we waited for the weather to change, because it turned out to be a beautiful afternoon for a jump, and Fly man Mike, Jaybird, and Ralph were great. What a wonderful experience, and I only wish they were located on the west side of town because I would be there jumping everyday! They made us feel so comfortable that my wife, (who would never even consider doing this), even decided to jump too. I was so very proud of my girls, as they both had a wonderful time, and an experience to last them a lifetime! The feeling of flying thru the air in a free fall at 120 plus mph from 12,000 feet was amazing, and then the views of Mount Hood, Mt Adams, Mt Rainier, and St Helens was incredible as you were floating down the rest of the way after releasing the parachute...It's a "must do" at least once in a lifetime experience, if not 1000 times.....:-) read more

Highly unprofessional. Place looks like a junk yard with angry and offensive political propaganda everywhere, and I do mean everywhere. Including the shirts on the highly vulgar (he told one guy to suck his &@#* for pay and me that I could get rocks in my &*!@^$# for landing wrong!), militant, bully who owns the place., Ralph. We were treated like soldiers to be broken down and built back up through in your face aggression and humiliation. He flat out denied one of the group the rerun of emergency procedures, shoved him out the plane with no guide on his first experience and nearly caused serious injury to my husband due to the lack of working batteries in his radio as he was nearing the ground without the assistance of the guide on the ground screaming obscenities at him. He is still currently treating his back for the fall. We were given the wrong information on what we were buying, given the wrong address, told the class would take 6 hours when it was over 8 due to the non-stop breaks he took, treated like we were stupid for not automatically knowing how to sky dive or understand his self righteous and convoluted instructions, and pushed out an airplane with faulty equipment with absolutely no apologies or accountability on their part. It's my strong belief this establishment should be reported to the authorities for the horrendous conditions of their grounds and complete unprofessional behavior for a sport that could possibly kill someone. read more

We had a horrible experience at Skydive Eagle Creek. We booked 3 tandem jumps 3 months in advance and when we called the morning of we were given confirmation that we were all set to jump. When we arrived at the site we were greeted by a very rude and condescending gentleman who told us he didn't have any instructors scheduled and he couldn't accommodate our reservation. It was extremely unprofessional and disappointing. He was only apologetic once we decided to take our business elsewhere. I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere as well. Skydive Oregon in Molalla was happy to make room for us and we were much happier within the friendly and respectful staff. read more

Skydive uses a booking service in Georgia to book their Skydive trips. The booking service completely misled me for what I was booking for a friend who is dying of cancer, and wanted to skydive before it was too late. They told me we scheduled a Skydive trip for 2 people 15 minutes from where we were staying, when it was actually 70 miles. I called the Skydive company directly hours prior to our jump, who told me they would cancel it and I can work with the booking company to get our refund. The booking company has been nothing but horrible to deal with. I have been belittled, insulted, and given the most HORRIBLE customer experience service of my life. After first being told I was lying about them giving me the wrong distance, they eventually admitted their mistake, but would not refund our money. I ended up speaking with the owner of Skydive about my experience and my request for a refund, who told me very professionally but matter-of-factly that my problem with the booking company he uses is MY problem not his. I feel like this company has taken advantage of a dying 26 year old girl who was lied to, and refused a refund. They did offer to honor it for a future jump, however she probably will never get to see that. I think when the booking company will not take responsibility for their misleading sales tactics, the owner of the company should have. He told me he did not even care to look into my experience, even given our situation. Ralph Hatley is the owner of Skydive, as he told me on the telephone. The booking company has recorded conversations of my experience and I requested him to review them so he can hear how they treat his clients. He made it very clear he was not interested in "my" customer service issue. read more
