We had so much fun at the Vernon Hills Sky Zone! We went on a cold Saturday night so I was a little worried it would be total chaos, but it really wasn't. They only allow so many people in at a time & the whole process felt simple & organized. I was also a little worried it might be dirty since it's a trampoline park, but it was actually super clean!! One of the most popular places for my 3rd graders sons friends to have their bday parties. My son woke up with a hurt leg yesterday hours before a skyzone party, but even that wasn't keeping him home. He limped his way to Sky Zone and seemed to jump even better than he could walk. This place is a birthday party factory and there's several bday parties at any given time here. Sometimes the check in process can take awhile so I recommend getting there a few min early and always sign the waiver ahead of time. Yesterday we got lucky and were checked in within minutes and given a pair of no slip socks. My son liked the socks so much he insisted on wearing them all day! They typically jump for an hour and then head to a party room for pizza/cake. And then once their tummies are full and they are sugared out they go and jump again. I'd personally throw up, but the kids seem to be OK with this. Yesterday parts of this place were under construction, which made the rest of it seem even more crowded (especially on a cool fall day), but there was still plenty for the kids to do. I personally prefer their Evanston location, but probably just because it's newer. Overall, very fun for kids. I would say the ideal age is 4-12. We recently went to sky zone trampoline park for a birthday party. They have a large play space. My kids favorite was this jump pad. Sky zone is full of different activities like, basketball, soccer, giant slides, trampolines, foam pit, and jump pad. They had some other obstacles courses for bigger kids or future ninja warriors. Lol The only reason why I give it a four is because is it was super crowded. I felt like I had to helicopter parent my three year old and nine year old to avoid them running into someone else or getting ran over. The party area upstairs was nice and away from everything else. Attended a child's birthday party here on a Saturday afternoon and it was an absolute mess. The kids had fun so that's all that matters but from an adult standpoint yikes. They were slightly understaffed so children were using certain ttrampoline areas wrong. The big slide for older kids wasn't monitored at first but then someone eventually got to their station to prevent the Littles from going down it. They actually hit capacity for the day and weren't allowing walk ins and thank goodness for that because it was crawling with so many people. Helpful tip fill out your waiver online before going because the process could take a minute if you have to wait in line. Their concession stand line took forever. The worker working it kept getting distracted by her coworkers or walking away to do who knows what. I spent 20 minutes in line to get a blue icee. The bathrooms could use a little more monitoring/cleaning. It was disgusting. Toilet paper everywhere. Water all over the sink area. The party rooms are cool. They have someone that let's you into the room and sets up and is there to help with different things. Kids jump for 2hrs before the party room is available. There's plenty of parking though. Brought a small group of girls here and they absolutely loved it! I had ordered the tickets online, but one was sick. The front desk host was very courteous and even though the online order said it was non-refundable, she processed a refund. The place is pretty huge and they had a good amount of staff in the area supervising and helping kids with the zip line. It is a little bit pricier than other parks and they require you to wear only their Sky Zone socks which tacks on an additional fee. Everything was pretty clean inside and I went on a quieter day (not many other schools in the area were off - so we took adavantage) so that could be skewing my review to be more favorable. When it's time to go, they put out an announcement based upon the color of your bracelet (I don't think the girls would've left if there was no announcement help). Warning that if you are hoping to get good pictures, this is not the place unless you also pay to go in the jumping area yourself. We tried a 1 month pass, jump for 2 hours everyday, for a month over the summer. It was a good deal as when you come in for one jump it almost was more for us to do that than buy the membership for 1 month and allow you potentially to come back again. I booked a party online through sky zone and then just had a conversation with someone at event services. We're hoping for a great party, but if you are planning a party just know that they are very inflexible. They said one pizza for every five people. My friend told me to scan the QR code for the waiver before you line up to pay. You can't miss it. I believe if you get there before 10 am adults are free. For kids it's $21 for hour and half of jump time(day pass) The best value is monthly pass. $42 month you can came unlimited. If you sign up for the elite membership you get 20% off of private parties and concession stand. They offer private party rooms. If your kids are old enough to run freely, they have an up stairs area where the parents can sit and have a Birds Eye view. The place is great they offer a lot of different activities such as running wall, foam pit, slide (over 5yr) , basketball/soccer and a few other things. The only thing is that the bathrooms are DIRTY. I have a daughter and I had to take her to the "men's" bathroom. Urine all over the toilet and floor. I had to wipe everything down. We brought our grandchildren to the Sky Zone in Vernon Hill, IL today and were hugely disappointed. The best events of the park were closed; the Slide, Zipline and a couple others. We were told the reason was that they were short staffed. What they were not was short customers as the tramps all had too many participants and you had to wait to participate. If you do not have staff, limit the number of attendees. Seems the owners cared more about money than customer experience. We will never visit this Sky Zone again. read more

BEWARE. This place is VERY sketchy. I brought my niece to this location in January. The cashier said it was a set price for 30 days. They did not mention in any way that they were signing me up for a membership with monthly payments. I only realized it when I caught another customer talking about their membership the second time I came months later. I initially chalked it up to perhaps dealing with a badly trained teenager, but management just emailed me back to say they would not refund the 3 months of charges. I stopped into this location to purchase a gift card. Sounds easy, right? First, the cashier rang up my order and completed my purchase, and then realized she hadn't activated the gift card. She asked another employee for help -- he said he'd have to refund my purchase (so I had to swipe my credit card again) and I'd have to make a new purchase once they actually put the funds on the gift card. Fine. They activated a gift card, I swiped my credit card again, and the transaction failed. They had me swipe a few more times, and could not figure out why their system would not let me complete the purchase. They called a third employee over to help. Over the next several minutes, they moved me to a second register, and then a third, and were not able to sell me the gift card. They called a manager over to help. I told the manager I'd been attempting to purchase a gift card for literally 20 minutes, and no one could figure out how to do this. He listened to the story -- how I originally made a successful transaction but it needed to be refunded because they didn't actually sell me a gift card, and then how multiple employees attempted to issue a gift card but I was not able to complete the transaction. He told me the reason I couldn't complete the purchase was because the employees instructed me to swipe my card so many times that my bank flagged my credit card and put a temporary freeze on it. He stated I probably wouldn't be able to use my card for an hour and that there was nothing he could do for me, but that I could go home and purchase a gift card online and give the recipient a code. SERIOUSLY? Um, no thanks. I left the building and completed other errands in the area. On my way home, against my better judgment, I decided to stop back at Sky Zone and see if I could make the purchase. Success, at last. An employee who I did not previously encounter was standing at the register and he was able to sell me a gift card without incident. I actually regret returning to purchase the gift card, because after the awful customer service and waste of 20 minutes earlier, I did not want to give this place my business. However, I needed a last-minute gift and I know the recipient will enjoy using it. That is, assuming the child experience here is better than mine. We hosted our son's birthday party here. Great place - 5 stars for the activities. Absolutely horrible service - 1 star. I can see why there are so many bad reviews for this place. We went on a Saturday and it was very busy. Regardless, it was a very large facility. A jump zone, a wall run up, a giant slide, jump off station, foam block pit, obstacle area, tug o' war stand. So much to do for the party. The kids had tons to do and were tired out from all the running & jumping. As for the service, we were told to arrive a half an hour early. Well we get there to check in and the front "manager" said please hold while she stood there looking at her phone. So I just stood there watching her scroll through her feed for a minute or two and then she looks up and is like ok what are you here for...... Said we were hosting the party, gave her the info, she gives over socks and says to go in. No Happy Birthday to my son next to me, no instructions on where & when to go for the birthday seating area, and oh boy tons of attitude. I got the feel that she felt too good to be working there or something. Then when I said I needed to check in my other son, she was like "name please" as if we didn't just check in. After we did the hour of jumping, had to ask another employee where to go as the manager did not instruct. We went in expecting the pizza to be ready, nope. 15 minutes delayed, but they called all the kids in saying they could not jump. So, we had tables to just sit there waiting. The "host" for the room, brought the pizzas in, but I had to serve it to all the kids along with the drinks. After the pizza was brought in, our supposed dedicated host, disappeared no where to be seen until the end. Besides that there was older kids jumping in the same square as hers and will make her fall or hurt herself. What kid doesn't love trampolines? Imagine a massive trampoline park, with trampoline dodge ball, trampoline obstacle courses, trampoline basketball and just straight trampoline jumping. From a kid stand point -- my kids cannot get enough of this place! We actually bought summer passes and they've already paid for themselves. You'll need to buy special socks from Sky Zone. So be sure to wash them and bring them back every time. These socks have rubber nubbies on the bottom to help with your grip and are required. I give an absolutely 5-star for the kids. From a parent perspective, I wish the seating was more comfortable in the upper level. There need to be some couches and bigger seats for us parents that aren't jumping... come on. Don't waste your time and money at this place. Poorly run. No customer service at all. Purchased a membership for my daughter, but decided to cancel. We visited only 2 times. Submitted the online cancellation form a week before the due date. Sky Zone sent an automatic message that the cancellation will be processed within 1-2 business days. A week later my credit card was charge for next month membership. No customer service number is available. Left a voice mail to Vernon Hills location. My kiddos love this place, however it's always out of soap, toilet paper etc when ever we there, and I do understand that they can't keep all the restroom clean with that amount of kids, but it would be nice to check once in a while if there is some supplies left. NOT SAFE!! I went to Skyzone with my 7 year old daughter today. She went on the family slide and was given a green signal by the employee to go down. There was still another child on the slide and they clashed and got hurt. My daughter's head, neck and hand hurts after this so I'm very concerned about the safety procedures and want to alert other parents. This was not an accident, this was negligence of an employee in checking the slide and was completely avoidable. Me and my daughter are still in shock of what happened and really hope no one has such a horrible experience. Skyzone really needs to train their employees and follow the safety protocols. read more

My 7 year old loves sky zone. So a couple years ago, I bought a couple punch cards from them that contained various discounts to make future jump sessions cheaper. I've taken him to this location several times and used that card. On our most recent trip to sky zone, I was informed that sky zone no longer accepted the punch cards. The manager informed me that corporate decided that the cards were expired. I pleasantly explained that the cards have no expiration date and revoking the cards is illegal under Illinois and federal law. To no avail. I was forced to pay full freight. Sky zone took my money for the punch cards, and then revoked them without notice or compensation. I sent a complaint to sky zone online to no answer. I plan to file complaints with the better business bureau, Illinois attorney general, and will not return to sky zone. I urge anyone who has had a similar experience to do the same. Shameful behavior. Before anyone on sky zone replies that they sent notice they were summarily revoking my punch cards without compensation, they did not. And, even if they did, revoking the punch cards is illegal and a breach of contract, notice or no notice. read more

Everything's pretty fun, other than the fact that they changed dodgeball to that soccer/basketball court. The court isn't too bad, people still play soccer and basketball, it just isn't the same as the dodgeball games that used to be there. However the place is pretty dirty. I mean, the bathrooms are disgusting. And kids wearing the skyzone socks walk in pools of pee, and other stuff and walk right back out and jump on trampolines, or jump into the foam pit. I've never seen them clean the foam pit, even when I've stayed till a minute before their closing time. Maybe they do it when it's closed, but I doubt so looking at the bathroom situation. All in all, it's a fun place but it comes at the cost of you having to take a ton of showers when you get home. read more

I've been here two times. The place is reasonably clean, and a great spot to visit as the weather gets colder. It's not perfect, and the price is steeper than I'd like. Like all kids play areas - you have to be diligent as a parent. I don't expect 16 year old kids to also moonlight as nannies. Be alert and be mindful of areas that aren't suitable for smaller kids. Worst experience ever! bought the holiday punch card for my daughter thinking that it was a good deal. Being the careful type, called a day before to try and reserve a spot in case it was busy but was told that holiday punch card doesnt need an online time reservation and i can just walk in. When i arrived, i was told that the time slot was filled and cannot walk in. My daughter was the only one in the party that was not to go in because she used a punch card. There were over 100 spots yesterday morning when i called! I could have just purchased a darn ticket. So disappointing!!!! I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN!
