This place is also called drip coffee which was confusing. Located on a busy street with metered parking, if you're lucky you can find parking in the 2 hour side streets. Plenty of seating on the main floor and second floor. I got the chocolate malt milk tea which was tasty; however I also got brown sugar crystals in it and I was not a fan of those. It was way too chewy and yeah the brown sugar does not go with the chocolate. The milk tea was fairly reasonably priced tho compared to others at $5.50 for a medium (which is their small). Love this little spot near downtown. Looking for a caffeine fix near a couple of jobs in Denver this place popped up on Yelp just a couple blocks away. Staffed by a very nice, very competent, Asian woman I have been in and out of this place faster than any Peets or Starbucks. She can get quite a line but man she whips thru those folks orders like a tornado in Jokelahoma. ALWAYS polite and as near as I can tell ALWAYS gets the orders right. Not bad for a quick boba stop. We ordered the mango bubble tea with rainbow pearls and it was quite different than what we're used to: very frothy and milky. We were looking for a more traditional bubble tea since we're both lactose intolerant. It still tasted good, but that's something to note for the future. This is my favorite coffee place in the Capitol Hill / Golden Triangle area. The staff are all friendly, and they serve up the best coffee in the neighborhood. I highly recommend the lattes and, especially, the mocha. They've also got a pretty decent selection of breakfast goods on offer. You can find freshly baked pastries, some breakfast burritos, fruit, yogurt, and a few other items. Prices are pretty average for the area (which is a little expensive), but at least this cup is worth it! read more

Great little coffee shop in Capitol Hill. I had some time to kill so I decided to pop in and I was not disappointed. I got a hazelnut americano and a white chocolate raspberry muffin (which the barista recommended warmed and it was delicious). They had a lot of seating, from couches and armchairs to regular tables and even have an upstairs area for more seating (which I didn't get a chance to check out). After she made my drink she offered for me to try it to make sure I liked it, which was super personal and I appreciated it. Drip smells like a very old museum. When I asked the person at the counter, they told me "it must be the coffee machines." ....... I've worked at 3 coffee shops, generally coffee IMPROVES the smell of a place. I got an iced chai which tasted like water with nutmeg in it, and a lemon poppyseed muffin which was decent, but the almonds on top were very stale telling me the muffin was at least a few days old. Cute little coffee shop located in Capitol Hill! I had no idea I had a coffee shop so close to my apt. My friend wanted to meet up for coffee while he was visiting town and suggested this quaint and cozy shop! I got a medium almond latte and it was delicious! Not only is the coffee good, but the staff is sooooo friendly! If you're looking for a hidden gem to do some homework or work I would suggest goin upstairs and sitting in that little nook area that also has windows to look down onto the passersby. Drip Denver is a great coffee shop. They offer the usual coffee shop fare (Pablo's coffee) and they have a nice selection of teas. I was introduced to Rooibus tea here; I'll be looking for that more often. They also offer some pastries and other drinks. They will make you an Arnold Palmer if you so desire! The staff are always really nice and accommodating. To this point, I've seen people on dates, people studying, and Drip welcomes Meet Up discussion groups to use its shop for interesting conversation. The meeting space in the loft is a really nice area for talking, playing a game, or studying quietly. They also have a community bulletin board towards the back. Keep it up Drip Denver! read more

Recently moved back to Denver to the Capitol Hill neighborhood and immediately went on the hunt for a decent cup of coffee (or tea!). I've been to DD now at least a half dozen times in the morning and have always been greeted by very nice baristas. So far I've only ordered the hot chocolate and lattes which have been good but looking forward to trying their chai as I've learned that it is house made and not from a syrupy sweet pre-packaged mix. My holy grail for coffee shops would be a place where food and beverages are equally good, and quite frankly this is tough to find. My first experience with food at DD was two croissants (a ham-n-cheese and a spinach feta) both were fine but the barista warmed them up in a panini grill which smashed them like a pancake. I'm thinking that no one likes smashed croissants. read more

Pro tip: Go to the cozy upstairs space. There are only two 2-top tables and a smattering of comfy chairs, but if it's empty it's a lovely place to sit. Drip is located in the Beauvallon, which means they have free parking in the Beauvallon Garage. Score number 1. Drip serves Pablos and Kaladi Brothers Coffee. Score number 2. This is a wonderful asset to the strip of restaurants and businesses dotting Lincoln between Speer and 13th. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled or you might overlook this charming and cozy coffee spot tucked underneath an apartment building and nestled between two Italian restaurants. Something that always captures my attention and admiration when entering this warm and inviting space is the service. They are over the top nice and and accommodating. Sitting upstairs, I was more than willing to travel back down to retrieve my chai, but before I knew it he was walking right in front of me eagerly offering my drink. Like I mentioned, the space is cozy and inviting, but also showcases some interested art that ranges from local artists' large scale oil paintings to somewhat kitschy poster prints of old movie stairs and Jim Morrison. I spent a few very comfortable hours in here, working on my laptop, one sunny May Sunday. And I had the delight to meet Nancy, the owner and her husband (sorry... if I had written this right away like I said I would, I would've remembered your name... Ethan? Kevin? Where's the 6-star rating for my forgetfulness?). First I had a nice, loose leaf blueberry black tea, which lasted a while as I took calls, made calls and did my entrepreneurial online thang. Then there was a rumbling in belly which meant something... what, make another phone call? No, eat, silly. So I ate a breakfast burrito. It was good. I'd get it again. Then there was another rumbling somewhere else... my mind. So I had a couple of bottles of strong IPA beer, which were $1 off for happy hour. Got to talking with Nancy, who is a cool woman. She "wasn't even supposed be there today," she quoted, but was happy to be, since, you know, it's her store. By the time they were closing up, she was beginning to do work on their refrigerators and her husband was busy replacing light bulbs. We all talked for a while about enjoyable stuff like owning a business and "scary" stuff Couchsurfing and traveling and beneficial stuff like getting your business listed in the Maps search results when you're searching from a phone. I really liked them, really liked the shop, and would've returned again and again if I hadn't left town 4 days after that to head to the Pacific Northwest. In fact, since Denver is a kind of home to me, I WILL be back to their shop again and again. Definitely worth stopping in. The atmosphere is very nice... there are couches, the bathrooms are really nice, floors are nice. Great job with the place, good products and good people. Very memorable. read more

Oh YES. Another place in Denver that knows how to do coffee right! Came in here on a rainy Thursday afternoon and it was the perfect place to hang out until the weather cleared up. The vibe was relaxed and quiet and had plenty of comfy seatings. I got an iced latte.
