don't even know where to begin with this place ! everyone here is so kind, patient, & welcoming. always willing to answer questions, have a nice chat, greet you with a smile, & a MAJOR supporter of LGBTQ+! with a quaint & quiet space with the aroma of coffee & fresh baked goods, it's a nice place to sit & eat a sweet or savory treat with warm coffee, or have a nice meal like biscuits & gravy or soup. with a menu that rotates not only around the holidays, but on the daily, it's always a nice surprise to see what will be on the display. ube flavored treats, maple syrup cupcakes, the possibilities are endless here ! & don't get me started on the adorably decorated treats they seem to have in stock. along with this they have; good pricing, a rewards program, discounted baked treats (good food doesn't go to waste!), catering for events & holidays, & as well as housemate breads, items such as granola, honey, croutons, & more from them & local vendors 100% a highlight to such a small town !

A decent little bakery with a pretty good selection of items. Just about everything we had was good. Nothing was fantastic, but it's good. Drinks are also good.

This is a warm, friendly and cute bakery with a nice selection. We tried a butter horn and pecan sticky bun. Both were very nice!

So many baked good options to choose from, savory and sweet! We all tried something different and I went with the cinnamon roll. Very sweet but I loved it. Serve was quick and friendly. Small area for seating. Cute little cafe that's great for a coffee date.

    Delicious goodies!

The only thing better than the food at this bakery, which is exceptional are the owners who are kind, generous and eager to please. Speaking from experience (and waistline!) everything I've had here has been delicious. I'm so happy I've found this place.

Fantastic little bakery in downtown Monroe. It was my first time in this morning and the owner (who bought the bakery last year) was really friendly and helpful. We grabbed two ham and cheese biscuits and two sausage biscuits (they'll warm them up for you and also offer up some gravy). It was very good. Thrilled to have this ten minutes away.

Absolutely loved this bakery, their pastries & most importantly their service. We're just passing through & wanted a tasty treat for the drive back to Bellevue. Walking inside, you can totally smell it's a fresh bakery - sweet, buttery goodness was ahead. There were about a dozen pastry options in the case, not including the savory biscuits & specialty options. I ended up ordering a butterhorn & Italian soda. There's a cute bench out front where we basked in the sun and enjoyed a Sunday moment. Highly recommend stopping here when in the area!

We finally decided on a hazelnut cake (that she actually grinds hazelnuts into the flour), with layers of poached pear (in pear liqueur) mousse and caramel mousse, with buttercream frosting. It was better than we could have ever hoped for, and many of our friends and family commented on it being the best cake they had every tried! We had a lot of fun exploring the different cake and specialty shops, with elaborate displays with many options to taste and choose from. Even at Judy's shop there were so many options. But she stood out because of her insistence on high quality ingredients, a perfection of layering light layers of cake with multiple mouse and fruit fillings, and her great focus on service and quality. My favorite part, besides eating the cake, was getting a computer generated preview of exactly what our cake would look like. Really, how cool is that? At our tasting she had the typical array of options, but she also had incredible combinations and flavors in mind that we didn't see anywhere else. The options weren't overwhelming either because Judy was careful to provide good constraints and recommendations on what goes with what. Not only that, she took great concern for the actual day of delivery considering weather and time of delivery. She warned us the cakes wouldn't be there by the time we arrived if it was too warm, so when that happened we didn't sweat. They magically appeared sometime after the ceremony and well before cake cutting time - they were on display and all. She came in and out like a ninja, we never saw her! In summary: amazing cake, great for foodies and serious cake eaters, fantastic service, and comfortable collaboration all the way through.

The street was on the narrow side with parking on both sides of the street. I parked in some of the angled parking across from the address of Pueblo Viejo. There was a large truck between where I parked and where my Apple Maps app had indicated the store was located. Making my way to the closest crosswalk, I crossed the road and found that yes, the store was behind the truck. A banner clearly marked the store front, and the entrance was easy to spot. Upon entering the store, I decided to stop and take a picture. Once I took the picture, I realized there was a woman behind the front counter watching me and I said hello. Looking around, there was a variety of offerings. My dad has been experimenting with different breakfast recipes from different cuisines and I spotted some ingredients he might find fun. However, what engulfed the majority of my attention was the array of bakery items. Trays were available to one side of the baked goods cases along with tongs. Friendly and helpful workers helped me figure out that I got a bag for the items at payment. I went with a pink pan dulce and what ended up tasting and looking to me like a pineapple empanada of sorts. Neither item was too sweet, and both had flavor and texture true to what it was. Together they made for a good sweet tooth fix. The price for both items with tax was $2.10 and cash payment was accepted. The woman who took me through the payment process was the same one sitting behind the counter when I took the picture when I entered the store. She was warm and friendly in our interactions.

So far living in this area for quite some time now, I have not yet come to a point where the doughnuts where not good. Each time I have come in they have tasted fresh and you know they change their oil often. Have you had a place where you can taste that the oil has not been changed for quite some time? I have. This place has not given me that and it shows. The person that owns this place is always friendly as well and makes me comfortable with a quick chat before having to go back and make another batch of doughnuts. It is always super clean in the shop, but it is not a place to sit and eat. Definitely go in and grab the goodies and be on your next destination type of area.
