While the class was very cheap, and the instructors friendly, I actually found the classes quite confusing and intimidating. They were trying to teach 40-50 people at the same time and had multiple instructors and assistants at the same time. While I understand the need for assistants in such a large class, it becomes quite confusing when you are trying to listen to the main instructor and you have someone else telling you something in the other ear. Also, with respect to the venue, it is a fairly large place, but it also serves as a martial art studio and didn't have the same feel as other dance studios. Also, with respect to their outdoor parties at Streetsville Square, those were fun and they were all very accommodating. Verdict: I think this place is ok, but just wasn't a fan of the large classes and the venue, but if you are one that likes "exercise-style group classes", this could be for you. If you prefer smaller classes, I wouldn't recommend.

This place is just right for all the dancers. I started taking an intro level salsa dance class. There are several experienced dance instructors present during the class to help you with the steps and to help follow along. The class moves at a fast pace but it's a lot of fun. You just have to relax but pay attention to the instructors so you pick up all the dance moves and don't miss a beat. I love to dance Salsa, and if you do too or you're willing to give it a try, this is the place!! Come have some fun!

I have been attending classes at A2D2 for over 1 year and I have never missed a class. I found out about A2D2 Aerial Dance Cirque Company through a client. I have no dance experience, horrible flexibility and have never tried anything close to circus classes before. It had always been a childhood dream that my parents couldn't provide. I started out with HOOP lessons and Samantha (one of the sisters) was so welcoming. She taught me at my own pace and gave every student so much attention. The other girls in the class were welcoming and encouraging and we've all become friends. It is a class that I look forward to all week. I never use to have any hobbies but HOOP has turned working out into a whole new experience. Through this, I am more fit, flexible and I am proud of myself after every class. I have just started their Silks class as well and I have fallen in love with it already. I recently moved but still travel 1 hour each way because this studio is worth it. I recommend A2D2 if you have ever thought about aerial dance or are looking for a new workout. They also offer an aerial fitness class that combines HOOP and Silks if you want to get a taste of this amazing experience. This class is more than a workout, it is a challenge that I conquer every week with friends.

They will even dance with you at the socials to ensure that you're doing the moves correctly and, most importantly, having fun. I would have continued the classes except there are more females than males so the school asks level 2 and above males to come in and volunteer. Dancing with some of them that were only at level 2 was more of a hindrance because they barely knew the steps themselves. Also, some of the male participants really needed to practice personal hygiene. My biggest turnoff, however, was Roger (an instructor in training). He would get really impatient and even kind of rough with us. I basically refused to dance with him during the classes. He should NOT be teaching anything with his attitude - can't stand that guy. I was going to give it three stars but then I thought of how great Mark, Natalie and Natalie's husband were.

They usually hold…read moretheir classes at a Royal Canadian Legion, so while they don't necessarily have their own studio/facility, the Legion rooms are quite big and have different floors so they can accommodate multiple classes at the same time. Their specialties appear to be in the Latin styles (hence the name), which includes salsa, bachata and cha-cha but they also do tango and kizomba as well. I have also attended their monthly social which seemed to be around 60% salsa and 40% bachata and cover is usually $15, which includes lessons for beginner and intermediate dancers. Their socials are held at another Royal Canadian Legion which is located right next to the Long Branch GO station. The socials go on for 4-5 hours with about 15-20 minutes of performances by their students and some pro dancers. The dancers were really good. Most of the people attending the social/party were friendly and were there to dance and not too many players/flirtatious people. I find that certain places that offer "Latin" dancing are more club-like as opposed to just learning to dance and have fun. All in all, I thought the party/social was fun and members were friendly. Will probably go again and might take some classes here.

They wanted me to move my daughter down a level but I am unable to take her that day. So the teacher called me and was extremely rude and even said "if I have to put in the effort to come to work then you can put in the effort to take your daughter to class". After this call my daughter told me "how can I return if the teacher doesn't want me in her class". Dance should be done for the love of dance, the children do their best and practice because they love it , they don't need to feel humiliated to belittled. The teachers should be better educated on how to deal with children and have as good of a understanding for child psychology as they do for dance.

On top of that, I had had other incidents renting mats, where the same owner told me I could not pay with a card, and was upset because I did not have a two dollar coin. Yet, other times I was there I had done so with the help of other employees. Would not recommend to anyone seeking a peaceful, welcoming environment to practice yoga.

My only comment that's kind of negative is that the stairs need more lighting especially when the theatre is dark. I watched many elderly folks struggle trying to see the steps and find their way down the stairs. Super dangerous for seniors and little kids.

The theatre itself is a great place to do a show; it doesn't seat very many but it's a good amount for a small performance. The dressing rooms, all of backstage and the wings of the stage are all big comfortable spaces, and the theatre is incredibly kept. I loved working here and I would love an opportunity to do another performance in this theatre!

Despite having a lovely trainer, I don't think they are prepared for older adults training, As a resullt, I got injured on my shoulder and knee. When tyring to cancel the PPT, the club would not admit any fault and charged me 15% of the remaining commitment. Now I am undergoing physiotherapy, which costs me a lot more...very disapointing experience. Be careful!

A dark arena with uv light up above, so don't wear white! With 21 people in this room I'd say it was fairly big. At times I would find myself seeing no one at sight. But turn one corner and bang! People ducking, hiding behind obstacles and shooting you through holes in the wall! Since we played during our lunch break we had a 30 minute game. Everyone was drenched in sweat by the end. So bring water! 5 stars because it encourages physical activity + lasers + well organized! I went here with my little brother, and take my word for it, though: it's worth going the extra distane for LQ. While Laser Quests lets kids (and adults) choose their own nicknames and life out their videogame fantasies in a huge two-story arena, ULT's arena is three times smaller, and their laser guns are so "child-friendly" that they won't even work unless the player holds it with both hands! Add to that the fact that, in the first game, both my brother and I were given defective vests, and that there's a $5 fee to use their indoor playground, and it becomes clear why I prefer LQ over this place any day.
