I wanted to try a new place and I had seen a post on social media about this place being open, I decided to go ahead and give this place a try and I am so happy I did. It is so clean, I felt so comfortable there and they follow covid protocol. I saw Helen and she was amazing! I got a gel pedicure and it was exactly what I needed! I will definitely go back to her. They were so appreciative of the business. A gel pedicure is $30 and to remove gel if you come in with gel on toes is an extra $3. read more

It was my first time here and Helen was absolutely wonderful. She gave me a dip manicure and even waxed my eyebrows. This was my first time getting my brows waxed and she made me feel comfortable. Sweetest nail tech ever. Thank you so much Helen ! read more

I wanted to update my review to say that this place never fails me! I always get excellent customer service and exactly what I want. I often try to do something different with my nails and even if they don't know exactly what I am talking about the definitely work with me to try to make it just as I want it! I am not sure what the lady's name is who does my nails, but I always make sure to leave her a tip because she is the first nail tech that has ever gotten my nails perfectly the way I want them. I commend these hard working ladies because I know as women we can tend to be a little picky and demanding but they make sure to make everyone feel like family when I am there. Ladies this place is a must try. read more

Covid friendly! Great team of women/men. Always accommodating and caring. Love being pampered!

My mom and I have been getting our nails done at Sky Nails for about 10 years now. The ladies are so friendly and do a great job every time we get our gel mani/pedi. With COVID, they've added new safety measures such as taking each customers temperature, and adding plexi glass between themselves and customers. Hellen and Kathy are our go-to manicurists. Do yourself a favor and get your nails done there :) read more

Pedicure suck!! Ive been thinking about having a nice mani pedi pampering myself after work. wanted to go Exotic nails across the street but theyre closed. When i came here, the one did my mani she is awesome. Pedicure done by the oldest woman there she is so lazy. There r only 4 staff. She didnt even look when she applied my base coat, which its all over my toes. And one toe she skipped. What a lazy n weird person! And instead of double coating she put one coat on one toes and double on other ones. Apply polish unevenly with some part of my nails still naked. I usually never complain if i dont like it i just never come back. But this is super fraud of my time and money. I complained n point fingers at her saying "you should know better this is what you do right? If you dont apply nicely its gonna chip really fast" and she said dont worry. My manicurist told her to clean the polish in my skin too. What a rip off! And after me she did pedi on older lady n she did nice job. I keep eyeing her. Thanks for ruining my next two weeks and suck my money blind! read more

I have been coming here for the last 15 years and have received consistently good service from all the nail technicians. Prices are good. Try not to come at the end of the day because it's packed...right when they open until 3 pm is best but the longest I have ever had to wait was 15 minutes. $12 spa pedicure special on Mondays through Thursdays. Good selection of colors but I like to bring my own in case I need to do a touch up. read more

I love this place because it's cheap, clean, and a great place for manicures. If you go Mon-Thurs it's even better for your wallet. I always ask for Hannah because her designs are the best and she's very nice and pleasant to talk to. Yes the ladies are talking Vietnamese while they are working...but what nail shop doesn't have that? I've tried the eyebrow waxing for $5, but I think it all depends on what shape/condition your eyebrows are in when you come in. They can't work miracles. I also recently just tried the crystal gel french manicure and no chips as promised. Overall, I'm a very happy customer and have been going there for years now. I've tried other nail shops and none really compare. read more

I'm still a fan of this place but instead of paying what I thought would be $12 I ended up paying $23 plus tip. Here's why: I made an appointment to come in at 5:30 and was taken right away. I had gel on my nails from the last manicure, which I had gotten here, and it had grown out plus the broken nail I had previously mentioned in my last review was bugging me. So I assumed that when I went in again this time that I would only be charged the $12 plus nail repair. But I was charged $23 because I had a manicure plus the removal of the old gel on my nails. Keep in mind, Jenny did my gel manicure and she did a good job, as well as bonding the nails that were splitting again. The last time I went here, Tim did my nails and he did an amazing job. Both are very nice and do their manicures well. When I was going to pay and saw the total I asked them "isn't it $12???" and the girl that helped me said that it's only $12 for the gel on bare nails. Which didn't make sense to me because I was charged $12 last time I went there for my color change and Tim did the exact same thing that Jenny did. So the lady told me that for next time when I get my gel done again, to take off the gel I have on it before I go in to get a new gel manicure... So I was kinda mad that I was charged more for the same exact service 3 weeks ago but it's still a little bit cheaper than the nail salon I go to Ontario. So if you're interested in getting a gel manicure for $12 make sure you tell them before you sit down and the manicurist does the works for you. Jenny did have to repair 2 nails for me so if they start splitting, I'll have another update again with probably a lower rating.... read more

Gel X nails ... I personally don't like acrylic nails or the dipping nails I prefer Gel X nails it's faster easier last longer and they are light weight. Thank You to the owner for doing my Gel X Nails. All the ladies are so hard working and friendly. This place is in my hometown to it's so nice to see the ladies there and they remember me too. Also they have the best massage chairs and they do really good pedicures and actually pretty much everything they are great at. This is close to Mtsac & Calpoly too. I wouldn't recommend this place I'm new to this area and out of all shops I've been to this is by far THE WORST .... the women are polite however all their products are old they're very old fashioned and while I allowed them to finish my pedicure I couldn't allow them to do my nails because I was instantly itching once I sat down and while my feet were being done something but my hand... it's very dusty inside here I would not ever come here again... read more

I came in for a pedicure this weekend and I gotta say, I left feeling unhappy. The pedicure was sloppy and rushed. My daughter went a few minutes before me and in the middle of my lady scraping off my dead cuticles, my daughters toenails were being painted. The prices are great but I honestly would rather pay a few dollars more to get a thorough pedicure. I shouldn't feel like I need a pedicure the next day. My daughter agreed that we were rushed and she was unhappy. Another thing is that the polishes they have are somewhat outdated. The ladies are sweet but obviously rushed trying to get to the next clients. I'm going back to Violett Nails on Colima, I'd rather pay a little extra but feel happy when I leave. read more

Well, I've gotten my nails done here several times because it's super convenient to home and to the gym that I go to. I wasn't impressed by the results but hey it was convenient and the ladies are polite, this isn't a nudge at the customer service because they are nice. This isn't even a jab at the way my nails came out those times. I came here this past Saturday to get a Brazilian wax. I've been to this place previously to get waxed and my first experience was with a different woman and not as traumatizing as this last one was. I had grown my hair out the appropriate amount, if not more, to get a wax. I waited three weeks. I come here thinking ok this should be simple for her since she is a professional. She begins to wax me and it's going well. Then she reaches a certain part of my private area trying to wax the area but continues to tell me that it's the way my hair grows that is the issue of why she can't wax me. I've waxed myself before and I can tell you, with her technique, this lady should NOT be waxing. She continues to drown my hair in oil and continues to try and put wax on expecting the hair to come out! She finally goes to get powder so that the oil could somewhat be absorbed, meanwhile leaving the door open with me spread Eagle there on the table. After being there 40 plus min with this lady continuously failing to wax me over and over and her blaming it on the way my hair grows and it being "too straight" I ask her if she could go get another professional. She leaves the door open once again, and leaves the room only to tell me that the other lady is busy. She kept suggesting that we just leave it as is. I continued to tell her no, this is waxable, no other professional person I have been to for a wax has had this issue. She then asks me if I want to do it myself right then and there! I tell her no, I am capable of doing it myself, but I come to a "professional" because I am paying. She continues to try and wax me, again, failing because she has no idea what she is doing! I tell her this is the most awful experience I have ever had and I'm not paying for this. So I put on my underwear and shorts and walk out of there. The end result was horrid. I was left with pretty much the same amount of hair I went in with and went home and did a fine job on my own! This lady is so unprofessional and she should not be waxing people! It's truly not safe in there guys, beware. read more

The worst place you can possibly go to, the lady didn't do my nails right. She asked to pay up front before finishing them. She said it was 18, all I got was just acrylic with just a simple nail color! It ended up being 22, plus I tipped her 2$ . After paying she finally finishes my nails, and made it look like crap!! She didn't paint them nicely, missed the edgers on my nails, the acrylic wasn't even, you can see my real nails on the side ! Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Has got to be the worst place ! read more

My mom found this place about a year ago and I hadn't gone yet until a few months ago and I've found the perfect person to do my nails! Tim is absolutely amazing and takes some time but only because he is a perfectionist. Other ladies here have done my nails but not to my liking as Tim has does. All the women are genuinely sweet and loveee to make conversation, they also make sure to always has how you like their work before continuing to finish up, which in my opinion makes for good customer service. read more

Sky Nails - By Tim :) - Nail Salons Near Me - Walnut, California

Sky Nails is great for a cheap, get in, get out, fast-food type of manicure/pedicure experience but don't come expecting a luxurious experience. Came here for a manicure + pedicure and I'm not really sure that I will be back. First thing I noticed is that their nail polish selection in the back seemed a bit outdated and worn down. Many of the bottles seemed almost empty and dried out. Didn't seem like they really took good care of their polish selection. The ladies here are nice, but service is pretty poor. I had a coffee at a nearby Starbucks and when they told me to sit down, they told me to put my coffee on a side table attached to the spa chair that was tilted downwards at a 45 degree angle. I tried telling them that I didn't want the coffee to spill in their salon. She put it in there anyways, and thankfully I caught it before it spilled. I ended up setting it down on a stool behind my seat. Although there were plenty of chairs open, they seated me next to somebody who was also getting a spa pedicure. Instead of moving from one side to another to do my manicure while my pedicure was being done, she stayed on the right side had me reach my left hand over. My left hand got tired of reaching over, and due to this, I also don't think they did a great job on my manicure. Factoring in the slight shake from the massage chair, as well as the small movement caused by the lady doing my pedicure, there were many spots in my manicure that weren't smoothed out. After she was done, I actually had to politely ask her to come back because one of the nails was not painted all the way to the base of the nail, and for another nail, there was a black speck from something stuck in the polish. For my toes, I decided on french tip and the lady actually did a pretty good job for $12. The equipment here isn't in great condition, and I worried a bit and hoped the tools were sanitized properly. I think next time, I'd rather shell out a few more dollars and go to a more relaxing place that will put more attention into my nails. Maybe because I'm not really a regular customer, or maybe because I look young... but I didn't feel like they cared about what my finished nails would look like. They just wanted to get the job done. read more

So I came here only because the nail salon I go to across the street is closed today and my feet are in need of a pedicure. The pedicure barely started and I already know I'm not coming back again... I had gel polish on my toes from previous pedicure. The lady soaked both my feet in a bowl of nail polish remover! My skin dried up instantly and became flaky.. Ugh!!! The correct way is to wrap each toe with foil and cotton! This lady can not file one toe without hurting me.. Then she drenched my feet in alcohol......OUCH (T^T I thought pedicure was suppose to be pampering..) she also did a bad paint job on my toes.. She literally just slab the polish on my toes. I didnt even need to move close to see that the polish was applied unevenly.. A fetus could do a better job. You sure she has a license for this???? Fml.. Never again read more

This was the worst experience ever. I'm not posting a pic cuz I hate my nails. I'm such a nail person I'm actually offended by my nails. Ok, now the incident that took place: My cousin treated me and it came to be 158. Way too pricey. Then the chip reader printed a receipt wrong and we had to sit there for 30 minutes sorting out whether the bill was paid. Turns out, we had been charged but the lady wanted to do it twice. Overall, I was referred to this place and sad to say I hated this experience. Such a nice group of ppl. We left embarrassed and feeling bad. Nothing was offered for this horrible situation. I don't expect freebies but an apology would have sufficed. But at least the guy told me he couldn't do my design upfront. That was really great! But this sucked! read more

Got a full set here, wish I waited and went somewhere else. My nail lady glued my finger nails to my skin and kept filing my flesh along with my nail. She got the acrylic powder and solution all over fingers and it was such a pain to scrap off because it dried. They were also uneven and she didn't even clean up my cuticles. I paid $27 including tip for nails I wanna take off after a few hours. The lady was really nice though, I just felt like she didn't care about me cause she had a regular waiting. One stars because she really was nice and I didn't have to wait. read more
