Im all for a great place with no frills....but I need more. For those using Google - this is NOT located in the Hyatt. Just a few things:
1 - If you want to catch pneumonia or frostbite during a massage - come here. This is by far the coldest massage I've ever had in my life. No heated bed or blankets if you are used to that, just one towel to cover you.
2 - The one towel they use to cover you is scratch af. I know they have fabric softener in Mexico - Ive bought some, but does this place use it? NOPE so not only are you cold you have possible lacerations from the dry crunchy @$$ towel.
3 - They offer 3 -4 types of massages, relaxation, deep tissue, and one they say involves stretching, you can add on a hand or foot massage which is supposed to be an additional 20 mins....check/set your watch because they cut my friends short somehow we started and ended at the same time but determined it wasn't worth the hassle. My deep tissue massage was ok, my masseuse wasn't terrible and Im sure she would be fine for most especially considering the price.
There's only two "rooms" (think 3/4 wall dividers) so make an appointment. We each got a different massage, they were all between $20 - $40 a piece. I would personally be willing to pay an extra $20 for some Downy and a full wall, but maybe I am asking for a lot. They had a nail station and a two pedicure chairs if you want to add on that service, but no scrubs or wraps spa available. It's in a quieter area than the Magic Hands massage parlor so there was less street noise, but I wont be back. Good luck. read more
