Absolutely loved this place! Angela was my masseuse and it was one of the best massages I have ever had. Highly recommend this place and I will be back next time I'm in Playa. Thank you so much for an amazing experience. read more

We were headed to Playa for Christmas and my husband booked us a 90 minute massage as part of my Christmas gift. I'm not sure how he found Mia, but I'm sure glad he did. We had a 10:30 appointment and walked in a little early. The location was easy to find and it was very clean. They had a room set up for us with both beds ready to go. And wow. I've had a lot of massages, all over the world....most masseuses know my traps are the problem but idk what the masseuse here felt that others didn't, but she really got in there without it being super painful and focused on the whole area. I was the most relaxed I think I've ever felt in my shoulders. I just wish I was local so I could go back again and again because for $100? It was more than worth it. The rest of the massage was great too, full body and didn't miss a detail. I really loved the scalp and facial massage. My husband recently tore his AC joint and his masseuse did an awesome job still getting in there without touching his injury. Overall, an amazing stat to our Christmas Eve and a top notch massage. Highly, highly recommend. It's no surprise they have so many 5 stars. OH and we ended the session with hot tea and chocolate! read more

We continue to trust Mia Spa for a couples massage to celebrate my birthday, and it's always absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was calm, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. The staff made us feel cared for in every detail. Our couples massage was relaxing, intentional, and incredibly soothing -- exactly what we needed. The therapists were professional, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. What truly made the experience special were the thoughtful birthday touches. They surprised me with champagne and birthday chocolates, which added such a sweet and personal touch to the celebration. It made the day feel even more memorable. Mia Spa continues to be a place where relaxation, kindness, and quality service come together. We left feeling refreshed, appreciated, and already looking forward to our next visit. read more

Mia Spa - Couples massage room - Day Spas Near Me - Playa del Carmen, ROO

My partner and I were looking for a lymphatic drainage massage since we were traveling to Playa for our wedding. I found this spot via Google, and I am very happy we did! I booked it very easily on WhatsApp. We arrived and the ladies were waiting for us with warm smiles. They took us to our rooms which were very nice and calming, and then proceeded. It was an excellent massage. I had Angela and she knew exactly what she was doing. It was super relaxing and felt great, and I looked and felt great for my wedding!!! Reasonable prices and great location. The only negative I will say is that when I laid face down, the pillow or sheet that was near my nose was very moldy/musty smelling which made it hard to relax at the beginning. read more

A perfect spa day in the best place on earth! We had the couples package and it did not disappoint.

I had an amazing time at Mia Spa. The place was clean, comforting, and the music was relaxing. If you choose to come here, get a massage and the chocolate body scrub. I personally got the Pamper Yourself treatment and my skin felt so smooth afterwards. Would highly reccomend. Would definitely come back. read more

Our couple massage was one of the best we've had with Karina & Hannia. They're patient, and provide thorough quality service!!

Second time here and they delivered again. This time we had Karina and Angela. Couples massage was great. Perfect pressure. Beautiful, clean spa. We're going to try to squeeze in one more before we leave Mia Spa! An absolute must when you're in Playa del Carmen. read more

When on vacation we have learned to skip the spa at the resort and find a local spa. We did this Playa and hit the jackpot. A variety of services, good location and delightful staff. Strongly recommend. read more

Great massage and a good value. We got a couples massage, my partner said his was amazing and mine was nice as well

If you ever come to Playa Del Carmen a massage and facial are a must at Mia Spa. Making an appointment is super easy, I used WeChat the whole time, they respond to you quickly, all staff were kind, and the location and massage rooms were clean and very soothing. I change my appointment multiple time and they accommodated each one(all my wedding guest received massages) My wife and I both got deep tissue massages and I must say ........Kenia & Alondria worked their magic. I even booked another massage two days later for my wife with Alondria and a facial for my mom with Kenia and they both came out happy and relaxed!! Thank you Mia Spa for creating an amazing experience for us and our friends and family that traveled here for our special day!!! read more

Best massage in town. Mia is very strong and always feels relax and enjoy the time there. Not to mention, the place is very clean. Also, very easy to schedule with. read more

Found them on google. Booked online. Got there with a bit of skepticism but boy, they delivered. Me and my wife signed up for couples massage. Paid $5 more per person for deep tissue. There was no hidden fees, all are disclosed on their site. Got there, was greeted with friendly staff. Everyone was Dressed professionally and cleanly. We got started with the massage on time and it was darn good. So good we went back the next day again. I'm not sure if this place is consider expensive compared to all those massage places who solicits you while you walk down the tourist traps, but I definitely feel safer and more comfortable with Mia Spa. If you are tired from all the eating, partying or walking. This is the spot to hit. read more

My partner and I came to Mia Spa on one of our last days in Playa del Carmen before flying back home. Booking: I had some questions before booking and they were quick and responsive via WhatsApp; then booking the actual appointment was a breeze since I was able to do it online, and it was confirmed shortly after via email. Massage: We booked the 90 min couple's massage with wine (or tea, but I chose the wine) and Ferrero Rocher chocolate (yum! I was admittedly expecting some unknown brand). Pricing was very reasonable and definitely better than the nearby hotels, though with this expectation that this spa would have fewer/no frills compared to resort spas. I liked that it's smaller than the hotel spa, so there was more personalized attention. Staff: The staff and service were all excellent - i.e., the front desk and massage therapists (Liz and Nahomi). Getting settled in was easy, and the therapists did regular check-ins to see how we were doing. Overall great experience here. read more

Went here after 3 days of activities when my entire body was so sore. I contemplated going to a spa with amenities but ultimately decided I just needed a good massage. Now let me tell you, I'm from Los Angeles and go to high end spas on the regular. This was hands down ONE OF THE BEST MASSAGES I'VE EVER HAD!!! My body was restored and I feel like a new person today! read more

I enjoyed our couples massage so much, I went back for the Spa Day treatment. Pamela was my therapist and she did a fantastic job throughout. The treatment included a 90-minute massage, body scrub and chocolate wrap, and a facial. There is a shower in the room, so it's easy to clean off from the exfoliation and chocolate. Pamela ensured modesty by holding up towels and making sure private parts were covered. The treatment lasted about three hours, then I had time to enjoy my champagne and chocolate. I received 10% off since it was my second service. Again, I found Mia Spa easy to book, transparent with their prices, clean and calming, everything you want in a spa experience. I'll definitely return next trip to Playa! read more

Oh My! My husband and I get massages often and we just had a couples massage at Mia Spa and it might just be the BEST ever! We added the facials to it and I have NEVER had a facial like that! It was AMAZING!! It's a quant little spa but they make you feel like you're the one and only. After our massage and facials we had hot tea and chocolates waiting for us! Perfect beginning to our vacation. Thanks Karina and Luv! We will definitely be back! read more

Came here for a 90 minutes massage on a weekend afternoon . After haggling a bit , we settled in with private rooms which is not the norm here ( other places have several tables in the rooms ). Really an amazing massage with very friendly communicative staff ! Excellent massage - don't let the humble exterior fool you ! read more

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The food was fresh and amazing as was the service. Had a delicious glass of white wine, brand name Daniella, especially crafted for the restaurant. Highly recommend the guacamole. The best we had in Playa. You will not be disappointed!! read more

We had a couples massage here while on vacation. The previous reviews were glowing so we had to check it out. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. I've had several massages in the US and was expecting similar things but it turned out to be quite different. The room was quite chilly (the a/c was on in December) and we only had a towel covering us so it was hard to relax. There was no table warmer either. My masseuse was very thoughtful and made me comfortable. I was expecting her to ask me about the areas she'd like me to focus on but never did. Overall, it was okay but not something that I'd go back for. read more

My friend and I did the 3 hour "spa day" & we had a wonderful time! It was exactly what we were looking for. The room was very comfortable & the ladies, Luu & Juana, were super sweet. read more

Honestly the massage and facial I got here was just okay. I was excited based on the reviews but I would say definitely skip the facial and go for a swedish massage instead (I got deep tissue and it wasnt that great). However it was VERY easy to schedule an appointment and the facilities were very clean + covid friendly, thus the 3 star rating. read more

Had an amazing massage in a beautiful, clean and comfortable treatment room with a glorious waterfall by an expert massage professional who spoke excellent English and seemed to anticipate my needs and exceed all expectations. I tipped extra generously given the excellent price of a 90 min treatment. I really liked Liz and highly recommend her. read more

We were a family of 7 traveling to Playa and 6 of our family members booked services at Mia Spa. 4 did massages and 2 did facials. It's super easy to book online and the response from the Spa was speedy and professional. We were able to walk to the spa as it is located right off of 5th ave. No taxi needed if you're staying near 5th. My husband and I did a 90 minute Mia Couples Massage done by Janet & Rubi. It was an excellent experience. Very relaxing, professional and they made certain the pressure was just right. We've had spa services worldwide and can say without any doubt that we highly recommend Mia Spa. You will enjoy it immensely! read more

So.... I get massages all over the world all the time. It's my guilty pleasure. This massage from ALMA was AMAZING and arguably one of the best massages I have had. I did something to myself (slept funny--who knows) but I've been really stiff and I work at a computer so my traps and shoulders are normally pretty tense. I had a 90 min deep tissue and she got into everything in my neck, my traps, my shoulders (even stretched my rotator cuff). Most places just kind of do your shoulders a little or your traps a little because it's hard to work when lying down but she did an AMAZING job. Moved my arms so she could get into all my different muscles. AND I was able to get a same day walk in appointment during a very busy time in Playa Del Carmen. The spa itself is very nice with wood accents and a nice ambiance. Super excited about finding this place. There are some other cheaper places on the beach in PDC that I read about but this place was still reasonably priced compared to US. And I highly doubt the other places have a massage therapist as well trained in technique as Alma. Definitely give this place a try. read more

Such a hidden gem! Our hotel prices were outrageous so we decided to venture into town for massages and facials. They are off the main road so, it's an actual spa vs people hollering at you on the street. The services were fantastic, the staff is wonderful and you are in your own private room (we did a couples massage and facial package). Highly recommended! It was such a lovely break from chasing a 2 year old around a resort! read more

WOW! One of the best massages I've ever had! Right on 5th street & easy to find. Room is a little noisy with street music from outside but they play music in the massage room & it drowns out outter noise pretty well! Such great massage therapists. Janeth & Ingrid did a fantastic job!!! Such great service. Strong hands. & great vibe all together. They really cared about us having a good experience! Thank you ladies! read more

Unbelievable. Juana gave me one of the best deep tissue massages of my L I F E, and a lovely facial as well. Went for two hours of deep tissue and their medium facial and left glowing, so so so relaxed, and with a whole new back! Seriously amazing, can't recommend them enough!!!!! read more

If you were thinking about getting a massage while in town, you should definitely hit up the spa! We were able to call in and make a same-day appointment. The facility was very clean and cool. My husband and I got a couples massage and we left very refreshed. Ingrid and mailene were excellent. The prices are very fair and I would definitely recommend it over. Going to a resort if we come back in town again we are definitely stopping back here. read more

Great Massage for a decent price. Did a couples massage after a day at the beach. No wait. Accommodated for the fact that we still had sand on our legs and back and cleaned it off with a soft towel before starting the massage. While still on the main tourist strip, room was quite and relaxing. Clean and Professional. read more
