Sehra is my girl! I would trust this girl with my hair any day, talk about someone that listens, is creative, and understands hair she is your girl. Back story: I highlighted my hair at home using a highlighting kit and it turned out streaky, you know, kind of like a zebra streaky. Bad. Just terrible. This is what I get for trying to save money. Sooo, rather than learning my lesson and going to someone professional,  I decided to use another at home hair dye kit. This time I would dye all of it dark and it should tone down right? WRONG! It turned red, goldish, blonde. And was very brassy. The pictures make it look toned down but I assure you it was not. In any case, panic mode sets in: oh God, my hair, my beautiful hair is now streaky AND brassy and if I go fix it now, the chemicals and bleach and whatever methods to fix it will make it all fall out and my nickname will be cueball......greeeaaat. I've never done this before let alone tinker with my hair like this. I always left that to the professionals and now I know why. So that I don't become a hair horror story. Too late. Needless to say, I took to the Web and reached out to the social media (Facebook) for help. It was unanimous: go see Sehra Evans at GA GA hair Lounge in Sand City. Mmmkaayyy, here goes nothing. I set up an appointment with the infamous Sehra and she takes one look at my hair and immediately suggests not one but TWO different colors of lowlights to weave in my hair, explaining how no one has just one full shade of color, there are always tones throughout. This is true and makes sense. It's actually brilliant really, when you consider the shades and such of someone's hair. I ask what the damage might be financially and she gives me a quote that's more than reasonable and way below what I mentally calculated in my mind it would be. I say ok let's do this and boy did she! One look in the mirror afterwards and I can't be more pleased with the results. It looks amazing, natural and very low maintenance (especially being Military affiliated I wouldn't need to maintain it much, especially if deployed). I love it! It's the perfect blend of a sunkissed, au naturel hairstyle! Gisele Bundchen has nothing on my hair now! :) So if it's gorgeous hair and affordable prices you're looking for, Sehra Evans is your girl, or rather arteest! I didn't want to share my diamond in the rough but what the hell, share the wealth right? Go see her, you won't be disappointed, she has skills to color correct and then some! Tried to walk in to book an appointment upon our visit home, was greeted rudely in a dusty, cluttered space, things everywhere. She may cut hair well by her "reviewers"/friends but I found it a highly unwelcoming and unprofessional experience. I even question if this salon is sanitary with animals running around and dust filled knick knacks. Feels like fluffed reviews and bad manners. read more

Finding a good hair stylist can be one of the more difficult tasks in life, so when I found Sehra I was so excited. She is absolutely amazing at both cuts and color. She is very good at communicating and listening to what you want but won't give you a cut/color that won't look good on you. Plus she is just super fun to be around and fun to talk to while getting your hair done. I recommend her to anyone who wants to look their best.
