Judith was working at the ticket station and was kind enough to help us understand how to combine the leftovers and make one master card to hold all the tickets. We also were advised to hold onto the empty ones so they could be refilled when family come back to Cumming for Thanksgiving weekend! Walking over to the bowling desk, Carl was helpful in getting us set up and grabbing a lane that we wanted, close to the wall. Lance 1 was out of order, so we got a couple games in on lane 2. With two people it was very affordable, instead of paying by the hour for cosmic bowling. Less than $30 which is a great deal. Afterwards, we decided to play the Marvel coin and card game that my brother and I started in May. We spent the good part of an hour just trying to collect the missing cards for sets that we could get. Both my friend and I sat there for about 75 minutes. One machine went down twice, but Nate came over and made some adjustments and we were able to continue without losing credits or time. Nate knew what he was doing since both times we were back and playing within a couple minutes. As we were in a rush to get going for our dinner plans, we walked back to the counter and Andrew explained how to redeem full sets of the (9 total per set) Marvel cards for 3,000 tickets. Individually the cards are worth 50 tickets each. Andrew was patient and explained our options as well, in order for us to know the best way to set up my nieces and nephew the next time we come back to bowl and play games together as a family. I walked in with some pretty classic stereotypes about Chuck E. Cheese: mostly involving a mess of food, sticky floors, and suspiciously germy walls. I mean, what's a childhood without exposure to some sort of questionable bacteria, right? But shockingly, it wasn't nearly as chaotic as I imagined. It was actually... clean. Tidy even. Now, when you walk in, you've got two options for play: time-based or per-game. If you're smart, you go with the time-based option. Unlimited game plays for a specific time because if you're here for any reason other than to play endless arcade games and waste your kids' energy, are you even really at Chuck E. Cheese? Plus, you get a one-time "pause" when you need to eat, which is a nice move. Speaking of food, let's talk about the pizza. Now, I know you didn't come here for a gourmet meal, but let's just say the pizza is... adequate. I wouldn't go as far as calling it "delicious," but hey, it's pizza. It's there to keep your kids from collapsing from hunger while they endlessly bang on skee-ball machines, pretend to play basketball, and kill video game zombies. You're not exactly going to find a slice on par with Di Fara's in Brooklyn, but who needs that? This is Chuck E. Cheese, where kids can be kids, and kids will eat anything that resembles pizza, even if it's basically frozen dough with cheese. Speaking of arcade games, they've got all the classics: skeeball, basketball hoops, the usual suspects. But here's the thing that really breaks my heart: no more physical tickets. Instead, it's all digital now. You don't even get the satisfying feeling of hoarding a massive pile of tickets that smell faintly of mystery germs. The kids these days will never know the joy and disgust of collecting those little slips of paper, only to exchange them for a plastic trinket worth less than a peso. Shakes cane. It's all on your card now. Now, if you're thinking about bringing toddlers or kids under 5, I'd say skip it. The games are mostly too advanced for them, and they'll probably just wander around aimlessly, wondering why they're surrounded by flashing lights and a hyperactive rodent mascot. But somehow, my 4-year-old managed to have fun, probably just from sheer sensory overload. So maybe it's fine? Or maybe they just get distracted by the colors. Oh, and about those creepy animatronic puppets? Gone. Now it's just a TV screen. No more watching a slightly off-key Chuck E. Cheese stumble through a song with that weird, unblinking stare. I guess kids today don't need to be psychologically scarred by animatronics that are clearly malfunctioning after being used a few thousand times. They'll have to find new ways to be haunted in their sleep. There is, however, a bounce house. But it's an extra cost, and you have to reserve it. The bounce house is like the VIP section of Chuck E. Cheese. Don't even think about trying to sneak in there unless you've made a reservation. All in all, I think Chuck E. Cheese is a pretty solid choice for kids ages 5 and up. It's a great birthday party venue or a place to let your kids burn off all that excess energy. Just don't expect much in the way of quality food or profound life experiences. You can't even scar them with the scary animatronic puppets anymore. Oh well. Welcome to 2025.

Plenty of parking since it was a Sunday afternoon, and it was cloudy with sporadic rain nearby, making the need to prepay for a booth unnecessary, since we were early and they had plenty of booths. Oh well, kind of disappointed they still charged us for that. We booked booth 216 for 90 minutes, Taylor K was our server and checked in on us to see if we needed any help getting started. We for a couple drinks and started our playing a few different games. With two people we play quickly, so we had a lot of fun. I ordered pretzel bites as a snack while playing and we didn't stop until the time was up. Easy to pay our tab, we had gift cards and Taylor helped us get it sorted out. Any leftovers we gave to him, along with a cash tip. Great location, near lots of options for food- but drinks and food are good here! Great for entertaining, great for big groups. Once you are ready for the ocean part of the course you'll do a weekend or two down in the Jacksonville FL area. I couldn't give Windsong Sailing a higher reccomendation! My wife and I both did our training with Windsong. I've been on 3 Charters in the BVIs since completing the ASA 101, 103, and 104 with him and have got to put his techniques for standardization and crew resource management to good use. I have yet to be the captain but have witnessed other skilled Captains make simple mistakes that would have been prevented by Dave's thorough techniques he has learned from his vast sailing experience. Dave's course is not a 0 to hero course like a week-long trip down to Florida might offer. It's a course over time that will really create a solid foundation to keep your passengers, boat, and crew safe. I'd start with a seat on a Saturday public outing and his ASA 101 ground school ASAP!

The women's bathroom is clean and is equipped with hot shower. What I do not like about this place is that the instructor doesn't offer much advice. It is my first time surfing/ skiing/ water skiing at all, and I was only taught for 2 mins on the beach. When I was in the water the instructor uses a loudspeaker to offer me some advises, he was 100 feet away. On the website, it says "All lessons include a 30 minute session on the beach as well as 30 minutes on the cable. An instructor will be present with you at all times. " So I was kind of disappointed at first. Somehow, I did manage to stand on the water for at least the one way trip (I do not know how to turn and had to drop myself to the water whenever I want to make a turn), and I am super proud of myself! So the advice the instructor gave me did help. I was not charged for the equipment rental (life vest, board) and I spend 2 and a half hour on the beach (me and three other people took turns). Do bring: bath suit, sunscreen, towel, snack, water (I do not see any shops nearby), dry clothes, bug spray, and wear contact lenses PS: I think this place is not suitable for small children, because beginners fall into the water often, and you have to swim to catch the cable each time you fall. But your feet are tied to the board, so you can only use your arms to swim. Of course you won't get drowned, everyone has to wear life vest, but still one could panic a bit.

I came back today because of the price and that last time we were here, I was allowed to bring outside snacks in for my children. I don't know about your kids, but mine usually like a snack when expelling large amounts of energy (such as trampoline jumping). A small selection of chips, granola bars, juice, or even vending machines with non-sugary snacks (that work) would be helpful. I was not allowed to bring snacks in this time unless I paid a $50 surcharge for outside food. I'm sure this is because some jerk didn't clean up after themselves, but because of this we will not be back unless something changes. You're losing business from the responsible many because you were inconvenienced by the few. So, a good dusting, some way to get snacks for kids, and/or a different outside food policy would earn back out business.

I have a 24 foot sailboat and had previously taken a US Sailing course. It did not help me at all with the executionof sailing. I capsized my old Y Flyer and really lost a lot of the confidence I once had. I wasn't able to fully enjoy sailing any more and my confidence was shaken. In steps my dad who gifted me sailing classes. I chose Sunrise because of their reviews and the fact that the classes were small. In fact, my course was one-on-one. John was extremely patient with me, and over the 2 days of lessons, really brought back my confidence. He is an excellent instructor who doesn't just spout facts or instructions. He used the experiences on the lake to teach, which helped me remember the lessons. I like to learn the "why" not just the "how to," and that is what John taught me. Now that I know why things have to be done certain ways, it made sense and was easier to remember. I also experienced 2 different boats. Each of these boats were outfitted with accessories that I don't have on my boat and was considering purchasing. I even thought I wanted a wheel instead of a tiller. Joke was on me! It was nice to use these tools to learn on and be able to make an informed decision on considering them to boat on my boat. Today we sailed in some pretty intense wind and my uneasiness with heeling in high winds gave way to pure exhilaration. I am so excited about my sailing adventures and feel a lot more confident in my skills and knowledge. If you are considering learning about sailing or need a refresher, I strongly recommend Sunrise Sailing.
