I've tried waxing , plucking, and "drawing" in my brow. Those short term fixes were just that, short term. My dermatologist prescribed hair growth ointment and advised me to stop waxing and plucking at my eyebrows. One of his staff members suggested eyebrow threading for maintenance during my treatment. Of course I looked to Yelp for reviews, pictures and suggestions. I came across Esthetique Facial Spa on Adams Street. No appointment necessary for threading services. I walked in, signed in, and was threaded all in a matter of 20 minutes. Upon arrival one client was already in the chair, which is directly in the front to the left of the spa. My esthetician was calm and steady handed, she's everything previously described by other Yelpers. She shaped my eyebrows perfectly, paying much respect to my scar. Not as painful as I thought. My service was $10. I will definitely return in 2 weeks. Additional parking in the back.

I really felt relax, knowing that my skin is being care for by the right person. I first visited Taryn around a month ago. Then, I have never had facial done before, but I knew I needed one. I found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try after seeing the wonderful reviews. Taryn is so knowledgeable about what she does, the whole treatment was comfortable. She is not the chatty type but she explained what she does throughly. Her hands so gentle and the products she uses smells good:) I left feeling my skin was glowing. Oh! And I also left with some samples. I came back today and brought my sister with me. Same great service. My sister felt as sleep because it was just that calming! Today, I was planing to book an appointment on Monday to do a oxygen treatment but found out that they are close on Monday. Taryn was able to work around my schedule and find a time that work! Again, very flexible! I love coming here and cannot wait to see how my skin turn out after treatment tmr :)

I wanted to give them my credit card so that they would charge me monthly and they mentioned that they work with a provider named Cherry and I should go through them. The total amount was to be paid through Cherry in 6 months 1st payment starting in December in the amount of $771.43 and monthly thereafter with no interest if paid within 6 months. What I did not know was that Cherry would pay Saintly Skin the whole amount upfront. I needed to move back to CA and let Shontell, the receptionist and Penny, the practitioner know about this two months ahead. Until then I had received 2 full body and 1 partial treatment yet the service provider and Cherry have kept charging me even though I wasn't receiving any treatment. When I mentioned this to Shontell, she told me that I needed to contact Cherry directly to resolve the issue which I had done exactly what she said. However, they told me that they can not do anything on their end and it must be resolved by Saintly Skin. I explained to Shontell the situation and she told me that she would let Kevin, the manager know. I've called numerous times, left messages but no response. It took him about 6 weeks to respond saying that they don't have any refunds for whatever reason whether used or not and I should have paid more attention when I filled out and signed the forms. He even sent me a photo of the posted sign on a piece of paper in the waiting room saying that there were no refunds which I neither saw nor paid attention to. Then he sent me this: Non Package Pricing for Services Received by Mehmet Erkus Thru 2/5/2025 Services I received: If I were to complete the whole treatment: Full Legs - $450x3= $1,350 Full legs- $450x6= $2,700 Brazilian- $450x3= $1,350 Brazilian- $450x6= $2,700 Full back- $400x2= $800 Full back- $475x6= $2.850 Full Arms- $425x2= $850 Full Arms- $425x6= $2,550 Under arms $275x3= $825 Under arms- $275x6= $1,650 Full face- $275x3= $825 Full face- $275x6= $1,650 Chest- $400x2= $800 Chest- $400x6= $2,400 Buttock- $300x2= $600 Buttock- $300x6= $1,800 Total = $7,400 Total = $18300 I really tried to reason with Kevin, the manager saying that yes you have a point I should have been more careful by reading the whole disclosure package before signing, that's on me. However, it was never mentioned or explained to me by the staff that once you sign this there's no return. I also did not know that the whole treatment would take 12 months. When I consulted with one of the practitioners, she gave me a piece of paper on it written how many sessions needed for each body part mentioned above 4 & 8 weeks. I thought I'd be done in 8 weeks. What she forgets to mention is that EVERY 4 & 8 weeks. After the 1st session when I made an appointment, she gave me a date 2 months ahead. When I asked why so late she said that oh that's how the treatment works because of the hair cycle. Anyways, I explained everything to Kevin telling him that it's neither fair nor ethical to charge me for the services I didn't receive and asked for a friendly solution. But he was determined to eat the Bread of Shame, for unearned money his business was taking from me. What he doesn't realize is that there's something bigger than all of us. Whatever we do in this life will come to us in the same manner whether good or bad. Although I find Unsaintly Skin unprofessional, unethical, and corrupt, the staff were very kind and friendly, especially Penny, she rocks.

Mandy is professional and so knowledgeable. Every session I've had I learn something new about my skin, taking care of it, etc. Her studio space is so calm and inviting. She evaluates your skin and goals from the get go to inform the overall experience. Mandy has also helped me get into a regular routine with my home skin care. I didn't know where to start and she did an incredible job of helping me select the most important places to start, even if they weren't the products she carries. I felt she truly appreciated different price points and helped me not feel overwhelmed. Lastly, she's just a good person. I have felt so safe during COVID with her services and protocols. Knowing she's protecting herself allows me to feel more relaxed as well. I also love supporting a local, woman owned business on top of it all.

She has truly TRANSFORMED my skin and because of her, I was able to get my confidence back. Initially, when I came to her, I had the WORST breakout of my life. Cystic, blackhead, whitehead, you name it (pictured below). I had it all. The breakout lasted over a several month period before I saw her (approx. 3 months or more) and showed no signs of stopping, just getting worse. At the time, I was a sophomore in college and this gave me extreme social anxiety and insecurity as I was worried that people were constantly looking at my acne and not my face. Looks definitely don't mean everything to me, but I was tired of other people being so distracted by my face that they were treating differently. It was a very challenging time for me, but luckily my mom found this exact Yelp page when she was doing research and so we agreed to try her out. I was at the end of my rope -- so ready to give up and just accept the infected, acne-ridden skin I had. I didn't think it was possible to change it. I originally didn't have high expectations when I first saw her and I thought that this was going to be a dud, like all of my other efforts had been to fix my skin. Prior to Mandy, I had a dermatologist, had been on at least 3 different acne medications, including Acutane (many of which actually made me physically sick or ill -- almost hospitalized) as well as having tried so many face washes and masks that I truly thought that I was maybe cursed with acne for life. Since day one, Mandy has been kind, compassionate and extremely helpful when assisting me with my skin. I go see her anytime I possibly can to get my skin treated or when I have a question about a new product or skin regimen. I trust her 110% and she has more than delivered, over and over again. She treats all of her clients with the utmost professionalism and care, as well as personalizes her care to YOUR specific skin. Over the summer in college, when I went back to California, Mandy also did research for me and temporarily referred me to an acne specialist she trusted. In the meantime before I got back, they helped me. I have never gone back to anyone else about my skin -- not even a dermatologist -- because I have never needed to. Mandy knows her stuff and I have been able to fix my acne problem just with her. My face is living proof that what she does works. It might as well be magic to me, because I couldn't have done it by myself. All of the time and investment I've spent on my skin with her has been totally worth it and I would do it again if I ever needed to. Today, I still have acne trouble, but that is mostly due to hormones. Either way, Mandy has been there by my side to help me figure it out and make it manageable. Soon, I'm going to be working on clearing up my acne scars with her and I can't wait. Thank you Mandy, for all you have done for me and so many others!! You are not only changing skin but changing lives.
