He was very nice, and he applied good pressure to the knots I had. I did book for a 30 min massage but the chair was making me a little claustrophobic so I ended up stopping him at 20 min exactly. He didn't try to charge me for the 30 minutes, so I appreciate the last minute accommodation:) My type of work gets very chaotic around holidays, and I know I'll be back for a quick massage for those long shifts!

But mama made it happen this day. I made a same day appointment and they made it easy to do. After getting undressed and putting on my robe, I found my way to the waiting room and received a mimosa. This was the perfect touch. I needed this. The room was nice a dim and again, zen! I wanted to fall asleep. I was called back by my massage therapist who knew exactly what to do when I told him my lower back hurt from that epidural shot...my back has never been the same since giving birth. He was a little chatty but it was okay lol. By the time I was falling to sleep it was time to get up. lol I went back to the waiting area and relaxed a bit more with another mimosa. I really enjoyed my time. I need to make my way back. Make time for yourselves. Self care is the best care, WH definitely did a wonderful job assisting with that.

I felt very comfortable with Joan and booked another session right after. no complaints, only minor suggestions, some aromatherapy oils or a diffuser would have been extra nice and it was a little cold but I was too relaxed to even worry about it but will ask for it to be warmer next time. can't wait to return & I'm glad I looked her up on Yelp for the $39 massage check in. would happily recommend her to anyone, especially all of my nursing colleagues.

I LOVE Mimi's Laser Alternatives!! I will recommend this place to anyone that asks!…read more Mimi is just a wonderful, kind, personable lady! She is down-right lovable! She is friendly and always professional, going the extra mile for all of her clients. She goes as far as to recommend the best option for you, which could end up saving you money compared to a more expensive treatment you thought you needed. That cuts in on her income, but she does it anyway because she's just an honest woman looking out for your best interests!! Not to mention, the amount of time she spends with you to explain it all and answer every single question you have! We need more people like her in this world! I did a little bit of digging before choosing to try out Mimi's, and this place is one of the cheapest permanent hair removal locations in the area. I had a 3 session package for underarm hair removal. She started with a lower intensity for safety reasons initially. I thought it had no effect, but the hairs fell out on their own after a few weeks, and I was surprised! The second and third sessions were with higher intensity, and you do feel a bit more during the treatment. The flashes of light hurt a tiny bit, but as most of us women know, it's like a mosquito bite compared to ripping out your hair with an epilator or wax strip! After 3 sessions, you really see the difference! Even after months of leaving it alone, I basically have no more hair growth in my armpits! There are a few stragglers that I could probably take care of with her touch-up appointments, but those stragglers are so fine and thin now, they're hardly noticeable. Every woman sick of shaving/waxing/epilating should visit Mimi!!!
