This included a facial with layer upon layer of succulent beauty treatment lotions, exfoliants, and more lotions. Also included is a scalp and shoulder massage now that's where you really drift off. The very friendly Trish, who had a really cute haircut, took care of my purchase. Actually I was so impressed with this very hip salon and particularly the cool stylists, Trish with her neat haircut and the other one with the brilliant pink hair do, that I am seriously considering booking my next haircut here. I would say they could put me right with a fresh new look that would have the heads turning. The staff are professional and usually pretty friendly - always a bonus when you're getting your kit off - and they're also really good at what they do. To get your eyebrows threaded only takes minutes and they're always done evenly - again another huge bonus! The staff at Ellipse also listen to what you ask for. They appreciate not everyone loves really thin arched eyebrows, and happily shape them how you want them. Compared to other beauticians, Ellipse have always been very reasonably priced. While some places may charge $60 or more for a bikini wax, Ellipse are far more affordable and usually ask for around $25-$30. Having recently undergone a bit of a face lift, the Ellipse building now looks far more appealing and according to my friend who went there just last week, the service is still brilliant. They don't have a website but if you find them on Facebook, they've handily posted photos of their service and prices. I'm never really clear on whether you can book for complicated or longer services or not; it all seems pretty casual, so if you wanted to turn up and have a full treatment I'm sure Jina would be up for it. I also really like that because you can have to wait for a while sometimes, it's a bit of a hang out: there's often a children's DVD playing, and people tend to come in together and just chat with whoever is there.

I had a traumatizing experience at this salon today. When I tried to leave, the technician physically pushed me and blocked the door to prevent me from exiting the premises. She applied a chemical remover to my eyes and abandoned me for over 10 minutes to serve other clients while my eyes were burning. When I asked for help, she was rude and dismissive of my pain. While I was visibly distressed and crying on the table, she was extremely rough, pulling my hair and scrubbing my eyes with excessive force. She admitted to lying about the timeframe of the procedure just to ensure I didn't leave without paying for a service I was unhappy with. left the salon in tears, shaking, and with significant eye irritation. A formal police report has been filed regarding this incident. Please stay away from this place for your own physical and emotional safety.
