I can tolerate a normal Brazilian as far as pain goes but I did not even flinch with Maria. Not only does she use the highest quality of hard wax, but her attention to detail is truly unmatched. So many times I have gone to other places and have found many hairs were left behind, but Maria makes sure to get every single hair, and the entire hair follicle at that. She showed me the wax after removing hair and the bulbs were there on every follicle. I have been to many great waxers and Maria is the best by far. Do not look any further if you are in need of a waxing service! Especially a Brazilian. I have had no irritation and my skin was left buttery soft after. So thankful I found her!!

The wax was extremely hot when applied to my skin--it almost burned me--simply because they are rushing from one client to the next, trying to serve everyone at a single location now. Even after you book and confirm an appointment, they'll call to cancel--either because the person you were scheduled with has left or because they need to re-schedule your appointment, and they call the day before your appointment. And the person making the calls doesn't seem to realize that if there are no clients, she doesn't get paid; her attitude on the phone suggests she couldn't care less whether you show up or not--it makes no difference to her. Anyway, I wanted to let you know that my entire office used to go to this location, but none of us will be going back.

She behaved as if she had never seen pubic hair before--something completely unacceptable in this profession. The wax was messy, poorly applied, and rushed--she didn't even let it set before trying to pull it off, leaving hairs behind. I'm still in pain and sore from the experience. Despite being very flexible (I've been waxing for over 25 years and am a yoga teacher), she kept making unnecessary comments about my positioning. At one point, my knee lightly touched her belly, and she actually accused me of kicking her, which was beyond bizarre and very concerning that she would just lie like that and with no shame. I don't understand how European Wax Center continues to employ someone with such a poor attitude and lack of skill. I highly recommend avoiding Neomi at all costs! As of the last year my situation changed and making the commute became difficult for me and I had to find a new brow lady in Miami. However, this weekend I came to see my mother and treated us both to brow services and facials. And yay!! So happy I did. The whole experience was amazing! And seeing how far Karina has come was so heart warming! The location is beautiful. Soooo clean and such a homey and relaxing feel! She made us delicious tea too! Our brows came out gorgeous.
