As a client I didn't understand where exactly with the general way she was saying lift this are, round this, etc etc. I told them I couldn't afford the quote and they asked me to apply for 2 separate loan applications. Which I did on the spot because they asked me to. Even after saying I couldn't afford to add anymore payments and loans to my monthly expenses. I insisted on doing areas one at a time and scheduled my first appt with a deposit left. A few days later I called to ask and go over what my treatment plan was (exact areas that would be treated ), in what way, with what filler types and what the maintenance would cost me and how often moving forward. She (Nataly) kept saying she was trustworthy and transparent but didn't answer my questions and rushed me off the phone and told me to call back next day. To be fair- On that call she did mention again very minimally some things but only because I continued to ask and explained it wasn't that I didn't trust her, but that wanted to keep track of what was being done to my face/ have a map of treated areas and know all of this to ensure I could maintenance the work I was going to pay a lot to have done. - she continued to push for me to trust her without having answered any of my questions . The next day I receive a text that they t ' canceled my appointment and they would not treat me, stating that I seemed uncertain. They did not offer to refund my deposit so I had to text back to ask them to do so. Really weird. I was excited to be treated here. All I wanted to know was what was being done to my face and how frequently maintenance would be with costs look moving forward. It So weird :/

From the moment I arrived, the entire consultation felt surprisingly impersonal. Most of my appointment was spent with very young staff members rather than the surgeon himself. By the time I actually met with Dr. Barrett, it was only for about five minutes. He was pleasant and professional, but the entire experience felt rushed and transactional. I left almost feeling like it was a fever dream, it was over so quickly that I walked away confused instead of confident. The biggest disappointment was being told that the only way I would have a good breast augmentation result was with a lollipop lift and implants. I wasn't told this as an option it was presented as essentially the only option that would look good for my anatomy. I left feeling discouraged and thinking I didn't really have a choice. Thankfully, I listened to my gut and scheduled consultations with other highly respected, board-certified plastic surgeons. Every other surgeon had a different perspective. I ultimately chose another extremely reputable surgeon who recommended Motiva Ergonomix implants placed over the muscle (subfascial). He explained that because I had only mild pseudo-ptosis, the implant itself would provide the subtle lift and upper-pole fullness I was looking for without requiring a lollipop lift. I'm now on the other side of surgery, and I could not be happier with my results. I got exactly the look I wanted, avoided unnecessary scars, and didn't need the more invasive procedure I had been told was my only option. To be clear, I don't think Dr. Barrett was unkind. He was nice during the brief time we spoke. My issue was that the consultation felt rushed, impersonal, and left me feeling defeated rather than educated. Looking back, I'm so grateful I sought additional opinions before making such an important decision. My biggest advice to anyone considering cosmetic surgery is this: please get multiple consultations. One surgeon's opinion is not always the only answer. I'm incredibly thankful I kept looking because I'm absolutely thrilled with the surgeon I chose and my results.

It was my first time receiving this particular cosmetic treatment, and I admittedly wasn't well-versed in what the procedure should reasonably cost. I was charged $5,000, which I was required to pay upfront, before receiving any treatment. As I recall, the price included an initial treatment and a follow-up appointment approximately three months later, during which I could receive additional filler at no extra charge. At the time, I trusted that the pricing was reasonable and reflective of the service I was receiving. It wasn't until later, after learning more about the typical cost of under-eye filler, that I began to question just how much I'd paid. To make matters worse, I left my second appointment with a black eye. Looking back, what disappoints me most isn't simply the amount of money I spent. It's the feeling that, as a first-time patient unfamiliar with the procedure and its pricing, I wasn't in the best position to make an informed financial decision. I understand that cosmetic treatments are elective, that providers set their own prices, and that bruising can occur with injectable procedures. Still, $5,000 was a substantial amount of money, and I wish I'd taken the time to compare providers, ask more questions, and better understand what I was paying for. Five years later, this experience still bothers me. I share it not out of malice, but in the hope that someone considering a similar treatment will do their research, compare prices, and feel empowered to ask questions before committing financially. Unfortunately, I would not return to EpiOne based on my experience.

I started with an online consultation, then traveled for an in-person consultation, and eventually had surgery with him. From start to finish, Dr. Kim was absolutely fantastic. I had a very specific vision in my head: I wanted a fuller chest that still looked natural on my frame and could almost feel modest at the same time. I was very nervous about ending up too large or looking overly augmented, and he understood exactly what I meant. I am now 10 months post-op and I genuinely could not be happier. He got what I wanted to a T. The size, shape, and overall look feel completely right for me, and I'm so grateful I trusted his judgment. One of the things that made the experience especially reassuring as an out-of-town patient was how personally involved he is in the entire process. He handles everything from beginning to end, and he is the person I communicate with directly. Offices were spam calling me back daily or bombarding me with emails like ad agencies lol. Or that typical tiktok "this doctor has THIS special technique" which felt sooo gimmicky and fake. I never felt like I really got to see PS doctors as medical providers and get to speak to them without the shiny Beverly Hills facade. Plastic surgery does have this trendy side.. i get it. But it is still a very big medical procedure and I really felt like I just couldn't trust a lot of these flashy doctors I'd spoken to... I lost around 40 lbs and I always dreamed of fixing my lower pooch area - my case is a little odd because I haven't had kids yet and am relatively lean - I was looking for a really refined result. AND zero BS. just tell me what's possible and what's not. Dr. Kim didn't take a crazy consultation fee. I didn't wait months for a consultation. He didn't try to sell me anything. His office looks and works like an actual (clean and beautiful) medical office. I never waited for my appointments. During my consultation, he gave me plenty of time to ask questions and voice my concerns. I didn't feel like I was being spoken down to or being sold a used car. Finally felt like I'm speaking with a doctor who can actually lay out to me exactly what to expect moving forward, the downsides and upsides of my options, and what was and wasn't possible. Nothing was downplayed or overexaggerated. I had never had surgery before and so I really wasn't ready to have a big procedure like a tummy tuck. I asked if there was a more conservative option for my loose skin/pooch - we settled on a mini tuck with lipo to remove a large portion of my problem area - with the door always open for a full if I ever wanted. Dr. Kim was supportive, nonjudgmental and honest about whatever decision I chose. Results - my mini TT results were BEAUTIFUL. My stubborn lower pooch was totally smoothed out - no lipo ripples or weird creases. I recovered in like 2 weeks. No infections, no broken stitches, no seromas, no hypertrophic scarring, no dead skin, just... nothing. Dr. checked in with me after surgery multiple times to make sure I was doing okay. My garment fit comfortably and I was on just tylenol by the end of day 2. My incision healed into a thin, fine line which was sooo easily covered in a bikini. Way later when I was finally ready for a full tummy tuck surgery to reach the last bits of loose skin, the ease of my decision was in large part influenced by how smooth my past experience was. I trusted I was in good hands, and I was right. AGAIN, the entire procedure despite being a WAY bigger one, was just as smooth as the first time. Drains were easy. Stitches dissolved easily. The new incision is exactly where we planned for it to be - thin, and very very low and replaced my older scar. I entrusted Dr Kim to decide whether muscle repair was needed or not - he said he will if needed, since we're already in there let's make it perfect! I am snatched lol :'D my belly button looks so cute with a little hood, it looks natural and lovely. I'm around 3 weeks out and my incision is already so clean and healing very well. At this point, I can say I have a very good idea of how Dr Kim's office works, the pre op, surgery, the follow up, as well as healing/recovery. All the girls remember me, they make scheduling extremely easy, are fun to talk to, and before and after my operation my nurse really made me feel safe, cared for, and at ease. I was given all instructions and medications promptly and on time, as well as the Dr's personal number for any issues at all. Everyone has their own experiences and surgery is a big decision which can have unpredictable outcomes. But for me, choosing Dr. kim (twice) was the best decision I made for myself. The threads are now visible through my skin, which is very concerning. I contacted the office manager to discuss the issue and seek assistance, but I have yet to receive a response. Another concern was that the PDO thread packaging was not opened in front of me. For a sterile medical procedure, I believe patients should be able to see that the products being used are new and unopened. That raised concerns for me. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this clinic. I encourage anyone considering treatment here to do their research and proceed with caution. Update: After voicing my concerns, I was told they would redo the threads at no additional costs. The day before I was scheduled to have them redone, I was told that they weren't going to to this after all. Now my face looks 20 times worse then before. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!

Sophia is hands down the best cosmetic injector of all times!!! I have been getting Botox and various fillers for years and years. I have NEVER, and I repeat NEVER not had some drooping over my eyes, since I have low lying lids. It was perfect. She did exactly the right amount in the exact right place to avoid this. I have likely tried 15-20 injectors over time and she nailed it. Also, I have been terrified to have filler in my lips, for fear that it would make me look, fake, ducky, creepy, etc. First of all, she selected the right filler that would be most natural and the least stiff. I told her I didn't want it so that anyone would notice and she nailed it. She put in the exact amount and in the precise locations to make it look 100% natural. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she is also a very bright, kind and compassionate human being. She spends plenty of time answering questions and listening carefully to your cosmetic goals. I saw the incredible Sophia this week. I travelled all the way from Australia and I would happily do so again to see Sophia. I went in to see her for Botox - she was honest with me about the migration that had occurred in my lips from a Sydney injector. She dissolved all my lip filler which due to her technique was pain free - once my lips had settled she reinjected my lips and wow wow wow - they are so natural and hydrated, enhancing only my shape and making them look so unbelievably beautiful. Because of her technique and her patience when injecting she is truly an artist. She did both lips and Botox on my mum and I. I have never seen results like Sophia has achieved on us. I had an appointment with Annette and she was absolutely lovely. I needed to call to find the door because I hadn't been there before and didn't know where I was going. I've felt like facial massage has become a lost art lately, and often times estheticians are so focused on gadgets/tools/lights/etc that the soothing benefits of manual facial massage have fallen by the wayside. I was so so pleased when Carla give me a wonderful face/neck/shoulder massage while under the LightStim. It felt wonderful and it gave the impression that she cared about her clients relaxation in addition to results. So when it was time for the mask, I hoped she would continue that level of warmth and she did. She did a hand/arm massage while I masked, and that was so nice too. I've had so many technicians either do their dishes during that time or leave the room completely and I appreciated her care for the full treatment. Her products were all great quality, facility was clean, I was offered water and never felt rushed. It genuinely feels like Carla cares for her clients, and sadly I think that's not always the case (especially in LA). I left feeling relaxed and refreshed and had a healthy glow. Thanks Carla! It's tucked away off the street a little so it was very nice and quiet inside Lulur Spa! Only negative is parking can be a little tricky in the area, it's right on the busy part of Robertson (but near a bunch of the Vanderpump Rules landmarks if you're a fan!) so give yourself extra time for parking.

I reached out via email to ask a technical question about the Rejuran treatment. Specifically, I wanted to clarify which version of the product they are currently using, as there is a significant distinction between the injectable form and the topical serum. After receiving no response to my email over the weekend, I called the spa today to get information. The person who answered, Henry, was dismissive and unhelpful. When I explained my question, he repeatedly asked what I was trying to ask, despite me having just clearly stated it. It felt like he was intentionally feigning confusion rather than admitting he did not know the answer. When I finally asked to be transferred to a clinical coordinator or someone knowledgeable who could clarify the product, he paused for a long time before telling me he was just a scheduler and could not help. I then asked why he did not connect me with someone who could answer the question from the start, and he merely replied that they were busy and offered to have someone call me back. If they have an email address for inquiries, they should monitor it. If they are going to list a phone number for questions, they should have a system in place to connect clients to someone who actually understands the services they provide. Instead, I was treated like an inconvenience for seeking basic information about a treatment involving my face. The lack of accountability and the dismissive attitude are not acceptable for a medical spa. I have zero confidence in their process and will be taking my business elsewhere.

I searched for places near me, and I was very fortunate to find Beauty Religion (housed in the iconic Face Place building which has been around for many years). Entering the beautiful Deco building, I was greeting by a nice young assistant and then met Yelena, the lady who would work on me. She was nice, fun, and very knowledgeable. I was incredibly stressed out about my newly cursed jowls and Yelena took care of the issue with filler. She had me come back a week later to perfect it. And perfect, it is! I can shave my face again and not depend on a beard to cover what what the other place did wrong. I am so grateful. The prices here are normal for fillers of this nature, and of course we all agree that in L.A. our faces are everything. There are higher expectations here, male or female (I am male) and in the end, it will be worth every penny if you decide to come to Beauty Religion.

And right from her professional online presence to ease of contact-ability to speed of responding to enquries and confirming/reminders for upcoming trial appointments...all the way to the actual consultation/trial facial which was flawlessly excuted, she proved she was a rarity in Singapore. No hardsell, true passion for her craft, and genuine interest in building a long relationship with clients who are entrusting her with not just their face, but also their confidence. The first one was burning my skin, and I told her that it felt too harsh and that my skin was sensitive. Despite that, she went ahead and applied a second one. She also spent a lot of time rubbing the products into my skin, which only made the irritation worse. Overall, I felt the facial was way too aggressive and wasn't tailored to my skin. But the worst part is that I've now been dealing with over a week of nonstop peeling, redness, and irritation. I'm going to see a dermatologist because I'm concerned I may have developed contact dermatitis from the treatment. I've had countless facials over the years and have never experienced anything like this.
