Their spa bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever been in. We chatted it up and she educated me on my skin and what I can do to prevent future skin problems. I felt like I was talking to a long time friend when I was chatting with her. I also got an eyebrow wax and she did an amazing job. It was painless, quick and she got all the unwanted hair out. With this being said I will not go anywhere else but with Katie. I live in el cerrito so it is a drive and with traffic can take over an hr but she is so worth it. Her space is always clean the having slight ice this puts me at ease. The wax is always top quality and never once over a dozen times too hot or caused any irritation. She is also extremely kind and works at a speed I don't feel rushed but it is fast I can get in and out writhing 30 min if I don't chat her ear off too much. Her booking system is easy but I find it best to reschedule ahead to get my desired appointment she books out. If you are new to waxing or a seasoned waxed looking for a fabulous wax Katie is your girl. I appreciate her making a service that can be scary and painful as painless as possible. It's basically a big ball of melted sugar and some lemon juice that gets smoothed on your skin and rolled off. No strips or burning. Jen is great. She asks me about my weekend plans, my family, etc. to distract from the pain (yes it still hurts, but not as bad as waxing, I swear!). She's so fast and doesn't have to go over the same area over and over. She has great hours. She's an independent businesswoman who runs a clean and honest practice. What more do you need?
