Danny and his team were are selected contractors for our home remodel. They did a beautiful job,…read moreon time and on budget. We were so pleased that we added to our requested work during the project. Details: The bid provided by the group was professional and well constructed. Danny met with us personally every day during and before the project began. Danny's team works for him - they are not a group of subcontractors - so the work was well done and reviewed daily by all involved. The entire project lasted 7.5 weeks. We remodeled the grand bath and bedroom, the laundry, an office and a guest bed and bath on the third floor of our townhome. We also had our two stories of stairs changed from carpet to hardwood. The hardwood matches the flooring that already existed on the second floor perfectly. We also had our banisters updated on the second and third floors. We added work to paint the first and second floors and to replace our old compactor with a new wine fridge in the kitchen. Everything turned out beautifully. We installed more than 1000 square feet of wood-look tile to replace the carpet in most of the areas mentioned on the third floor. The quality of the tile work is outstanding. The master bath had a built in tub removed and a stand alone soaking tub added. The shower was extended and surrounded by glass - a big change from a smaller, darker original shower. Three types of tile were used for the shower and the tile work there is perfect also. Custom vanities were built in to replace the older ones. These are just a few of the things they did that were exceptionally well done - everything, however was well done. If you would like someone with attention to detail who is extremely responsive to your needs, we recommend Danny and Remodeling by Danny. Happy to talk to you about his work if you need a referral. THANK YOU!

Ilias won't return my calls, and I just got off the phone with Rod who tells me that I should have done my homework before purchasing the home. I've had my application "in processing" for 6+ Months only to find out from a city arborist regarding a tree removal request that my home is not zoned to increase # of units. For the last 6 months they lied to me saying that everything was going well, and that I'm almost to the finish line, then asked for another $1,000 last week for another level of necessary processing with the city. Now they are saying that they told my contractor that it wouldn't pass zoning reform, but were told to submit it anyways, which I believe is a false statement since they have been telling me everything is okay for the past half year, and a terrible business practice by Construction Concepts to accept my money for this project. At this time I haven't received any documentation to back up that claim. I asked that they remedy the situation with a full refund, after which I was put on hold for 15 minutes and then transferred to an extension voicemail and hung up on. Now they won't return my calls or emails.

Bill worked within our budget and was transparent about cost and what he could and couldn't do (which he and his team can do everything so there wasn't much he couldn't do). He went with us when we purchased everything from granite to faucets to tile, and made sure everything worked with our set up. Barry and Max are amazing and kind dudes that work with him. They were on time, generous, and did everything in their power to make sure things were done correctly. Toreso (not sure about the spelling) worked quickly to get our bathrooms tiled, and his work was fantastic. I would dock one star for the painters as there were some places that needed touching up, things that needed going over, and one item needing replacement. However, I won't because the guy came back to ensure things were fixed. Plus it was no extra charge for them to come back, no charge to replace the item, no wait time as they came back the next day, and the work was fixed and looks neat! Bill made sure everything was amazing! It took about 9 days to do a bathroom to the studs and redo, kitchen counters/lighting/oven hood thing, master bathroom vanities/lighting/shower/bath tile. He has a warranty on everything he and his workers do, so if something goes wrong, he'll be back to fix it. They kept everything clean and cleaned up as they left. Our kitchen and bathrooms are amazing. I'm so happy! IIRC, he pays his guys by the job not the hour, so you don't have to worry about anyone dragging their tails to finish. If you need a contractor, ACRECO is the only company to go with.
