Absolutely horrible job. I paid 10k to get an ~200 sqft room studded and sheetrocked. They ran…read moreelectrical wiring and NAILED the wire BETWEEN the sheetrock and the studs (twice!) bulging out the sheetrock and causing electrical fire danger. I had to unscrew the sheetrock and get the wire out. They put sheetrock directly over an electrical outlet with no hole in the sheetrock, causing me to spent hours redoing their work! They nailed THROUGH an electrical outlet box to install it. So I have 2 nails with bare metal exposed inside an electrical box where an outlet is supposed to go-that's a major fire hazard! They spent 2 weeks doing a ~1 week job. They used an electrical sander for mudding with no sheets and spread sheetrock dust all over the basement. 2 months later, still digging out from their mess. Absolutely horrible; overcharged, underperformed, multiple instances of fire SAFETY hazard issues, egotistical jerks. Brian is a real piece of work, horrible individual to work with. Threatened to put a lien on the house b/c they didn't want to clean up dust mess they spread all over the basement (over computers, chairs, couches, etc.) and I wouldn't pay them until they did. If I could give a negative review I would.

Christian Green enclosed my garage and in place of the garage door took my idea of "make it look…read morelike barn style doors are on the outside" and made it a beautiful reality! He transformed the enclosure into a bedroom for my oldest son. He added two outlets, reinforced the wall where I'd planned to mount a tv, added an accent wall, a doorway going into what's is soon to be a work out room, and painted the walls. His pricing is fair and his work is valued. He was knowledgeable, experienced, and skilled. He took the time to listen to me and explain things. I have more home improvement ideas that I look forward to having him work on.

I was relying on them to come fix the faucet and they were just unreliable. All they had to do is give me a call or message to let me know if they couldn't make it but I guess my business wasn't that important to them. So no, I don't recommend them.

Half completed roof cleaning job. Contractor will not return to finish his work. Do not use this…read morecompany. Details below I contacted and was quoted $500 flat rate for a roof cleaning. Duraseal roofing contacted me on August 21 and arranged service on August 27. Clayton Shockley, the owner showed up and cleaned half of the roof and did not finish because of equipment issues. He installed three roof boots for an additional agreed up $150. He asked for half his money $325 which I gave him after assuring me he would get a new sprayer and be back Friday the 28th to finish the job. He again showed up and sprayed one coat on the half of the roof and suggested the rain should clean more of it off and if algae mot removed he would come back and do it again. I paid him another $325. He inspected the roof on Friday the 4 of September. After seeing remaining stain he scheduled to return on Saturday the 5th of September. After the appointed time of 1000am came and went and no Clayton, I texted him and got the fill reply "Sorry, I can't today. I meant to call you, but I will be there Monday." This is Monday the 7th. 900 has come and gone and no Clayton. I again texted him asking his ETA and no reply. I am attaching pictures that speak volumes. Do not use this person or this company. I am so grateful to have found Ancient Path on Angie's List a couple of years ago. This company is…read moreexactly what I need. They will do both big and minor jobs with a wonderful attitude. I first called about my backyard wooden gate. I have a "kitchen door" type gate which allows me to open the top, put the garbage bag into the can in the alley for Friday pickup and not let the dogs out. It was beginning to sag and I was afraid I would have to have it replaced. The owner, Micah, looked it over and said he thought it just needed to be secured. He worked on the hinges and added a bolt to the bottom gate to support it and keep it level. He noticed that some of the nails in wooden fence itself were coming out and went back and secured them as well. I was very pleased with work he did. Micah is willing to do what you need -- a big job or just a small one! Since then, Ancient Path Handyman Services LLC have helped me with my back door, the gutters and a few other things. They get the highest rating from me. I don't think you can get better quality and value from anyone else!
