They ignored that information and sent a so called technician named Nathan Merenyi to see how much he could inflate the quote for a basic removal. We showed him the entry point where the eavestrough had pulled away leaving an opening. He didn't even bother putting a ladder up to get a closer look. Instead he wanted to see how many soffit vents there were to try and charge for entry prevention. We told him this was the first breach in 20 years and the soffit vents were fine. We requested that they install a one way door and after the squirrel was excluded seal the entry point. He said so all you want is a basic removal and we said that is all we require. We asked that he email it to us. He then sat in his truck for 30 minutes writing up a quote for his version of a basic quote. He then left and later I received his quote for a total of $1,812.52 (see attached image) The most corrupt business I have ever dealt with. They charge $695.00 for no reason on to of the Can you imagine what they charge for a full service removal.

Something needed to be done, so I looked at online reviews and Sawyer came up as a good option. The initial communication was great. I had questions about some of the bugs I had discovered in my basement (the house is over 60 years old, so the unfinished basement is an entomologist's dream) so they asked me to send pictures. I did and they were able to identify the insects and assure me they were not a problem. The technician showed up on time and asked me a few questions and then got to work. As they were going to spray for bugs as well as take care of my unwanted tenants, I was to be out of the house for a few hours afterward. This was no problem, as I had to go to work. When I got home, there was a very brief note on the invoice which pointed out a few areas the mice may have gained entry. One of the places mentioned a gap in a window - no specifics on which window (my house has more than one!). All in all, they did what they said they'd do, but I didn't get any wow factor from them to make them stand out from the crowd.

I'll definitely call them again for any other insect problem.
