The most DISORGANIZED COMPANY, ever, offering the most INEFECTIVE TREATMENS, who MISLEADS CUSTOMERS, NEVER STICKS TO THE SCHEDULE or FOLLOWS UP, DEMONSTRATES NO EMPHATHY, NO ACCOUNTABILITY or BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, RUDE SUPERVISOR STEVE and C.S.R. HAIDIA.
I hired them because their representative does maintenance at my work place, so I thought they were reliable - what a bad decision.
Issue #1 - Was told the company would accommodate my schedule - NOT. When I was ready to book an appointment, there was a very limited number of appointments available, so I had to adjust my schedule to suit them.
Issue #2 - Rentokil Steritech scheduled a consultation with me but FORGOT TO NOTIFY ME!!! On the third visit they provided me with a four-hour service call time frame but arrived half hour early!!! WHAT??? And they don't even call from the road to give you a heads up that they are on the way.
Issue #3 - Steritech office was given my buzzer number, but instead they buzzed, and woke up, the property manager early in the morning twice, unnecessarily. On the third visit I ASKED them to contact the property manager, but they kept calling ME at work asking why I wasn't answering the buzzer!!! DON'T YOU PEOPLE FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS?
Issue #3 - I had been told twice by Julie in Customer Service that the consultation fee would be deducted from the final invoice. IT WAS NOT!!! I was informed AFTER THE FACT by her that the fee may be waived only when the consultation and service are done at the same time - SERIOUSLY???!!! You are telling me this now? And when I requested the consultation and the treatment on the same visit, C.S. (again, Julie) told me they were too busy for that.
Issue #4 - During the consultation, I was told by Garrett, a nice technician, that the treatment should work for approx. two months and carpets, not just the baseboards, would be sprayed. Well, it seemed baseboards in one room had been sprayed partially, and the carpets were not even touched. TOTALLY USELESS. I contacted C.S. and was informed that there is no warranty on the treatment - WHAT WARRANTY? And why this is the first time I hear about it? In other words, you provide treatment that doesn't work, and CHARGE customers for it, right? NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!
Issue #5 - Had a second treatment which not only DID NOT WORK but made the initial problem worse. Called C.S. back and left 3 messages. Received NO RESPONSE. Called the forth time. One of the managers named Ken, called back, listened and promised to have a manager from my area contact me.
Issue #6 - Instead of the manager I was contacted by Steve, a supervisor who promised to call me back with scheduling options as soon as he returns to the office. I waited four days but never heard from him. When I called, he was SHORT, RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. He practically told me to get lost. REALLY???? Is this how you treat customers?
Ironically, R-S advertise "...products and services faster than the pests evolve" and offer "...quick and effective service". WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!! IS THIS THE TYPE OF A COMPANY YOU WANT TO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH? DON'T THINK SO. But they couldn't care less.
