It was a one way sticker. Regardless of that encounter, there was an older woman with the curly bright red hair so close to me it sounded like she was popping her gum in my ear on purpose. She didn't keep a distance and seemed to really not give a sh*t. Your best bet is shopping online if you need to continue to support Express. Otherwise enjoy the negative energy in there.

I purchased two pairs of shoes on my first visit and one pair on my second visit. I also exchanged shoes as they were too small, and they made the process relatively simple. Allen Edmonds manufactures quality shoes the old way with a Goodyear welt and American-made. They also value military veterans and offer discounts for those who served our republic. I would visit them more often, but there are only three stores in Massachusetts, with this store about an hour away or so. I have purchased more of their products online from Allen Edmonds.

They have a rubber sole with a heavy duty tread and they didn't come up too high on my ankle, so they were exactly what I was looking for. They didn't have my size in stock, and actually didn't have any available, period, but they were able to special order a pair for me. I was dreading what would happen if they didn't fit, if they would accept the return since the style (the Cascade boot) was being discontinued. The clerk told me it would be 3-4 weeks. Surprise! I get an email about 2 weeks later that a shipment was on its way. At first I thought I would have to go to the store to pick them up, but they were in fact shipped directly from their "factory" or what have you, custom ordered. The best part? I paid the sale price, and there was no charge for shipping. As for the boots, they were a little tight but after a few wearings they are super comfortable, and got here just in time for the nasty weather so I don't have to wear sneakers in the rain / snow. Seriously, this just reaffirms my initial review. You pay a pretty penny but you get exceptional quality and customer service.

I really did not need shoes for this trip, but I saw the most perfect pair of lightweight leather slides that I need for a different trip later this year. The saleswoman was so helpful in assisting me to try the shoes, and informed me how to ensure that slides will stay on the foot, giving me a little pad for each shoe. I was wondering how I would get them home in my already full suitcase. I was musing aloud about having to press the shoes together, and leave their box behind. She offered to have them shipped, at my cost. I was very happy to accept that offer, because these are expensive shoes, over $200, and they deserve to be treated properly. And then....I was directed upstairs to the sale area!! Wow!!! Terrific styles and prices! I will most definitely return to Footstock when I visit my friends in the area again.
