It was a gorgeous sight to start our day with each morning. My husband jogged around early in the day and enjoyed the peace. The kids loved the large grassy areas to frolick in, the ponds to bird watch, the playground by the hotel, the splashpad, skatepark, and especially the turfed soccer arena. It was also nice to do at multiple cafes to sit for a drink or app.

Plenty of times I couldn't get up the tiny slope to the rig, and all I needed was a tiny push...and there was no staff in sight. Then the baby slope is so packed, since it's filled with children and skiing classes...,,which is okay. But the only other option is the advanced slope which is entirely too steep for a beginner adult.

A shady park in the northern area of Utrechet, you'll find this place a bit run down compared to…read moremost parks in Netherlands. Even though there was lots of graffiti all over everything, the artwork here was pretty cool looking. In this park they have a nice canal that runs through the middle of it, couple of people were in boats going around. Also you'll find a skate park, a restaurant and some funky looking sculptures in the grassy area to the north. Great open areas for playing sports and plenty of spots to sit on a bench and enjoy the canal area. Even though the park is a little bit run down, it was still pleasant to walk through and check out.
