We had four poplar trees growing high against our two story house and over our shed. we called Steven and even though he was busy he took the time to meet us that afternoon and gave us a quote. He had a few other jobs lined up ahead of us so he said he'd call to set up an exact time. Since our job was not in emergency, we were fine with that. A few days later, he called and told us us a time for the next day. We had something come up and arrived a little late and surprisingly they had the job nearly finished. With a knowledgeable crew, and the right equipment everything went well, the cleanup was efficient, and the price was exactly what he quoted. As a sideline, he also trimmed a tree that Would definitely be a problem in the future or no extra cost. Which was very reasonable to begin with. steve and his crew did a excellent job with the tree.i needed 1 huge limb and the tallest of them cut down as it was halfway hanging over my roof and over my new roof i had built over my deck.it was a tight snug fit for the cherry picker but it made it in and steve got right to work.i was soo worried about anything big hitting the roof over my deck but only had one branch of thin limbs hit the side as it came down,no problem at all.everything had to be dropped in a 12-15 foot area so it was all a tight fit.crw cleaned everything up really well and raked and things were good.2 hour job and i feel relieved now that its done.i recommend them.showed up actually 2 days early which was fine with me.thanks again. read more

I had a tree emergency and they came out on a Friday night and took care of it! I had called 3 other tree service companies and none of them even responded. SK came and it was resolved in a couple of hours. I am so impressed! I had a dead tree on the corner of my property bordering two other properties. If it fell it could have done some major damage. It was a huge liability. The price was a lot lower than I was expecting to pay. It wasn't easy, I'm sure, to cut this tree and predict where it would fall, but they made it look easy! I spoke to Steve and he gave me a super price for taking down a dead maple tree in my yard. The tree was getting dangerous and was coming down one way or another. We had three full days of wet rainy weather that delayed the project as my yard was way too wet for them to drive their trucks on. Three days later they showed up and within a few hours the dangerous tree was down, sawed into chunks and stacked nicely for me. I contacted SK Tree Service to see if they could trim some of my shrubs that had been neglected and were overgrown. Other tree services I had tried either did not trim shrubs or were expensive (one had a minimum fee of $1000.00)! They set up an appointment with me for a week later. They just completed the work and I'm ecstatic! Looks wonderful, and they were professional and cleaned everything up (hauled away the trimmings in their truck). My friend's cat was stuck on the backyard tree so we called SK, James and Michael came immediately during the heavy rain. James rope climbed on the tree and gently recused the cat down. Steve and crew of 3 arrived on time and made quick work of removing large limbs from a tall maple requiring a climber and also did other trimming. Fantastic job of removing considerable dead limbs! The 'bucket man' was really expert at maneuvering to reach the dead limbs and respect the living branches. The clean-up was spotless, a little sawdust on the driveway is the only way you'd know I had tree service. Price was right too! read more
