Everyone that I had spoken with up to this point made me feel like they eere trying to squeeze as many people in as they could and for a high price. Now don't get me wrong....I totally get that you have a business to make money. But I just felt like another number and that made me question whether or not they would treat my belongings with care. However, the minute I spoke to Rachel on the phone with SC Movers, I knew that was the company that I wanted to go with! She was genuine and personable and answered all of my questions. They were also very fairly priced! Fast forward to moving day, Shawn and Cain were a few minutes early which we appreciated. They took a few moments to find out exactly what we needed and quickly accomplished it. My roommate and I were both impressed with how professional, friendly, and efficient they were. AND - they took great care of our stuff!!! So fast forward a few days. We were struggling with getting the rest of our belongings out before the final move-out date. Not that we were slacking - we just have too much stuff. Lol I called Rachel again (and, of course, she was as nice as she was the first time) and asked if there was any chance that the guys could come out in the next day or two to help again. They accommodated us the next day and did a fantastic job. So thank you, SC Movers!!! Highly recommend and will definitely use again if there's any need in the future!

They moved everything with care, so there was very little damage to our furniture. Overall, we are very pleased with our experience with Moving with Grace. Their prices are very reasonable and you definitely get what you pay for. I just wish that we also allowed them to help package all of our stuff so we could've saved more time during this busy holiday season.

Chris gave me the option of how many movers I wanted to use, and suggested what he thought would be the best for my move. I was quoted the job would take about 3 hours. And he was right on the dot. The movers showed up on time and were polite and careful with my belongings. They made sure everything was placed in the correct rooms at the new house. My plan was to use the movers for only the heavier items that I couldn't move myself, couches, beds, etc. But because they were so quick and efficient, I decided to hire them for another hour and go back to get the smaller things as well. Lucky for me, they had the time. My house was moved in about 4 hours. I was really impressed with Chris and the moving team. I would use them again in the future.

I sent out a moving request on Yelp and received a message promptly regarding price and availability. After getting the necessary information, I went ahead with booking. A couple of days before the move, I saw rain in the forecast and reached out to see if things would still move forward. Rain or shine, everything still went on as planned. Manny and Trey arrived on time and got to work ASAP. They loaded everything on the truck at the two requested locations and headed to Sacramento. Once we got to Sacramento, they started unloading everything. The move was to the 3rd floor of an apartment building with no elevator and down the hall from the stairs. Though it was a tough move, Manny and Trey were both patient, kind, and efficient. They even cracked a few jokes, and we shared some laughs. It began to rain at the end of the move, and they still continued with a positive attitude. I am so grateful for their hard work, amazing service, and dedication to helping me get moved in. They got the job done in under 3 hours through everything. I would 1000% book with Affordable Movers again. The service was great, the movers are hardworking, and it lived up to its reputation for being affordable, too. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your service.

He carried it on his back through the weeds and up the stairs before the guys I had over even realized that he'd started. When I told the guys they should be helping him, they met up with him at the top of the stairs and he was able to communicate effectively with them (all non-native English speakers he'd never met before) to tell them how to move the gigantic thing through the hallways without hitting any of the wall sconces. I was very impressed. Throughout our entire engagement, Dan was extremely courteous even though I couldn't quite commit to a certain time due to my sporadic communications with the seller of the couch. He was a very good person and happy to help us out. Evidently, the couch seller was impressed, too--she later told me she was considering hiring him herself for a future move.
