The only great thing about this employment office is their computer resource facility for one hour of free internet usage including fax machine, copying, and phone calls which all must be job search related. I had an appointment for a follow up in regards to a License I was not aware I had to meet with a alledge career advisor, stated their was alledgelly miscommunication, She also stated to me that she had to report to the judge, making threats. I did not concent to any "free" or volunteer time, specially 120 hours a month, only to just sit around on a program that's very poor and not consistant with veterans needs, career opportunities, training or assistance. This Program is more geared towards Welfare recipient and failure. I was not aware that it's not a HRA direct program,This was my first time at this location its located right next Public Assistance Office a bad area, I was not aware AW is not part of HRA and was very confused that this are the individuals in charge of alledgelly helping in getting into a job training program, got a rude awakening since I already have the background and history of employment. I was very discouraged, the female alledge that I have to do 120 hours a month (No pay) the career adviser / Corporate Representative Ms. Spears MA was very quick to state to me of reporting negatively to the support Magistrate for FC, a program that I had volunteer to attend in good faith to ratified arrears base of erroneous math by said Magistrate, even thought I already and previously is actively working with Veterans specialized organizations assisting me in finding employment including AW. The first assignment was suppose to be for a Remote Customer Service Representative position that ended up not resulting into anything. Than in April 2021 I was offered a one day assignment where I made only less than $100.00. Since April 2021 I have not gotten any assignments. I apply online on their website for positions and no recruiter ever calls me back. Every couple of days I try following up with them by calling their office only to be transferred to different recruiters voicemail. If you are looking for consistent work, you will not find it here with this agency. I am so ready to terminate my contract with them. Instead of them trying to help you they are doing the opposite. I will not recommend this temp agency to anyone. By the way if you have a degree they still try to offer you a low pay rate. Every assignment is between $15-17 an hour. They don't care about what qualifications and experience that you have. They are always trying to lowball you with the pay rate.
