She also moved from one area to another very quickly without spending enough time on any particular area. The most concerning part was the hot stone portion. At one point, a stone was hot enough that I physically winced and had to react because it felt like it was burning my skin. That definitely took me out of what was already a difficult experience to relax into. Overall, the massage felt rushed and lacked the focused, intentional technique I would expect from a professional massage. I left feeling like my muscles hadn't really been worked on at all. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not return.

When I walked in, she took me to the back room, and asked what areas she should focus on. I stated that since I am right handed, I tend to overwork this side of my body. Once I laid down on the table, she popped my back within five seconds. I have never had any masseuse do this. She really focused on areas of my back that were tense. Furthermore, she asked me a few times if the pressure was good, which I really appreciate! After the 45 minute session, I asked if we could increase it by 15 more minutes because I had fallen asleep! Lily could tell I traveled for work and called out multiple areas that needed attention. She incorporated hot stone and stretching where applicable. I frequent multiple massage places through multiple coasts through my travels and I was really impressed with Lily's technique and bedside manner. I enjoyed my massage so much that I instantly booked a 90 minute massage again post my next flight.
