We hired them do a yard update -clearing out overgrowth, putting in new sod, and trimming messy plants. We used Raven and his crew to convert our backyard from grass to artificial turf. We had him add a French drain which really helped this January with the heavy rain and storms, but it was to make sure that the turf didn't hold any pools of water. Yes, we had to negotiate with him. Yes, it was a challenge to make sure that we communicated what we wanted so Raven and his team could get the job done right, but that's life. They showed up and busted their humps and we were and continue to be so pleased with the job. We loved how the main part of the yard turned out so we called on them to return a month or so later to do the other part of the yard. The preschool kids love it, their families love it, and everyone who visits our backyard loves it as well. August 2017 Scheduled an appointment for an estimate to have brush and tree service done for OFD annual fire compliance inspection in the Oakland hills. Sizemore no-showed on the appointment and didn't respond to any of my phone calls. I went with Vo's Landscape and Gardening Service who showed up on time and did all the work before the inspection date. After 8 days Sizemore sent a text saying sorry for not responding to my phone calls (and I guess, for not showing up for the appointment) but they were "very busy". read more

Not trustworthy. The owner gives you a low quote and double it at the end. They destroyed the awning of my storage, and tried to come back for more to charge. Very poor quality of work (leftover debris everywhere) with too expensive charge ($1.6K+) for removing trees and junk from the backyard. Weeks after, mysterious junk showed up in my backyard after they reduced the price to $1.4K. NEVER again. read more

Two guys cleaned up a lot of debris, cut down a zillion-suckers tree and two other small trees, trimmed up our decorative bushes, hauled up a bunch of branches we'd already cut down from our back yard that was three stories down a hill, emptied our over-full compost bins, and cleaned up after themselves, all in six hours for $500, a reasonable price for this kind of work. They responded quickly to my initial text, arranged for the work to be done within three days, were on time, worked the whole time, and were affable. Doesn't get better than that! read more
