Finally, I asked about a flexible schedule to accommodate daycare pickup for my child. The CEO rejected the request and ended the conversation abruptly with "I wish you the best of luck," which felt dismissive and left a very negative impression. Where once XTRA Sports 690 and 91x plied their broadcast trades, now you have long office corridors that look like hotel hallways and no friendly receptionist to greet you upon entry. The picnic table is still out there on the side of the building and there are 5 feral cats that have been adopted and are living the good life-thanks to some TrendSource employees generosity. Now various attorney's services, I Love a Clean San Diego, the San Diego Audubon Society, and The San Diego River Foundation also have staked a claim there. I stopped by to visit one of the non-profits and did some snooping around. The lower offices have large windows with lots of natural light, and there is a fitness center with showers and locker rooms on site. The lease runs for 3 years but there is plenty of free parking in the lot out front and utilities are included. The location is centrally located right off Interstate 5 and near the transition to Interstate 8. All fixed up with new paint, new carpet, and plush bathroom fixtures, this is a great office building. Now if the walls could only talk with the stories of the past when all kinds of debauchery took place. And the parking lot was once the scene of all kinds of shenanigans and dopey promotional stuff!
