So I signed up and was suprised you don't pay until you arrive for pick up and they got me the Audi A1 model of sport hatchback that I asked for as they are rare in the states but am familiar with Audis an it for great mileage and held all the luggage easily. The car has some dings for sure but the parking is so tight in Spain in both small towns and cities that it's common. The car was ready and clean with a full tank and no cigarettes odor. They provided maps and the pick up process was quick at the near airport location in Malaga. The return was also quick and they email you the bill (and contract upon arrival), so far no extra charges ! Some people get camera speeding tickets that get charged through the rental company a this is the system for all Spain with a $40 administration fee from the rental car is also standard. (Camera sections have signs alerting you but if you are viewing the scenery an focused on the winding roads you can miss them). I got my International Drivers Permit from AAA for $20, which you will not find the requirement for in most of the Spain website but police will ask for it and you can get an additional ticket if you are a Non EU citizen. One of the main reasons for de ring from Malaga car was their insurance is included and much more reasonable in cost that almost all the others! I would definitely use Malaga Car again, especially the location near city center and not but 15 minutes from the airport! Enjoy Espana! Note: alway take a full video of rental car condition of exterior upon pick up to avoid any issues!

Poor man serving us was working his fingers to the bone and highly stressed. Car was dirty. Convertible roof didn't work for 3 of the 7 days. They refused to reimburse any of my payment. Sent about 5 emails before they replied. Disgusting attitude. Will never use this company ever again. Centauro have always been good. We'll go back to them in future.

Most recently, on arrival at Malaga Airport, tired and on edge from a long flight, we headed for the courtesy bus stand, and waited a good twenty minutes. When the bus arrived, we headed to it only to be intercepted by a curt attendant who informed us it was already full, and there was a queue, evidently managed by her. Not having seen her...we've never encountered a Marbesol queue manager in the past...apparently made it our fault. That we'd been standing a few meters away meant nothing. She checked our reservation and said she could call for another bus, which would take some time. Being excluded from the bus clearly meant another hour or so of processing time. We took an 85-Euro taxi to Marbella instead. We will explore options other than Marbesol in future. (This was probably a good thing. Becoming regulars at any company means not exploring offers from competitors). I do regret that I won't be dealing with the Marbesol agent in Marbella again. His name is Anwar, and he is a good man.

Then the subject card immediately works. I recently tried five banks and 8 total cards. Nothing worked as a deposit until ,under duress I processed the insurance payment. Their customer service is also in on this scam. Anyone is an idiot to use this company if you read/ heard this review or others that are available.

We were charged a €152 deposit for fuel and told that the tank was full. The tank was only 1/4 full (we did not notice this until the next morning). We returned the vehicle with the tank 1/2 full but only €76 was returned, a loss to us of €76. 2. We were charged €324 for Smart Cover. I later found out from Centauro that we should have been given the option to either put a hold on a certain amount in case of damage, or to purchase Smart Cover. The agent at Athens did not present the first option. We would not have purchased Smart Cover if we had known we could put a hold on a safety deposit instead. So all told, we paid €400 more than we should have paid. We will not be using this service or company again.

We arrived and our reservation was a bit sketchy (again, we struggled with contact, but we did have a confirmation email), so we didn't have a car waiting for us, but a very nice gentleman who actually worked for a different car company, called Tony's and a guy from Tony's immediately drove and found us. He honored our email confirmation and even gave us an upgrade on our car so that we got a bigger car with a GPS included for the same price. It wasn't an issue that one of our main drivers was under 25 years old (like it is for a majority of rental companies). Even though the communication beforehand was rough, we would say booking with them is absolutely worth it!
