So I signed up and was suprised you don't pay until you arrive for pick up and they got me the Audi A1 model of sport hatchback that I asked for as they are rare in the states but am familiar with Audis an it for great mileage and held all the luggage easily. The car has some dings for sure but the parking is so tight in Spain in both small towns and cities that it's common. The car was ready and clean with a full tank and no cigarettes odor. They provided maps and the pick up process was quick at the near airport location in Malaga. The return was also quick and they email you the bill (and contract upon arrival), so far no extra charges ! Some people get camera speeding tickets that get charged through the rental company a this is the system for all Spain with a $40 administration fee from the rental car is also standard. (Camera sections have signs alerting you but if you are viewing the scenery an focused on the winding roads you can miss them). I got my International Drivers Permit from AAA for $20, which you will not find the requirement for in most of the Spain website but police will ask for it and you can get an additional ticket if you are a Non EU citizen. One of the main reasons for de ring from Malaga car was their insurance is included and much more reasonable in cost that almost all the others! I would definitely use Malaga Car again, especially the location near city center and not but 15 minutes from the airport! Enjoy Espana! Their office is a couple of miles from the airport and is serviced by a regular shuttle bus. In view of the price paid I expected a fairly ordinary vehicle. On arrival I was upgraded to a virtually new Peugeot 308 HDI Station wagon, which was powerful but economical, roomy and well equipped. The Centauro staff were helpful and multi-lingual. Unfortunately, I misunderstood their conditions which were to pay in advance for a full tank of diesel and return it empty. I returned it with a full tank. An email to their customer services produced a refund to my credit card for the fuel costs in 2 days. So I would certainly not hesitate to use Centauro again. And next time I will try to listen more carefully!

Then the subject card immediately works. I recently tried five banks and 8 total cards. Nothing worked as a deposit until ,under duress I processed the insurance payment. They will send you the GPS in advance prior to departing for Spain so that it is good to go when you arrive as you will need an English language version. The location is just a 7 minute ride by their van to the rental site. After getting your luggage pay attention to the people as a Marbesol person will be holding a sign inside right after you get your luggage. The staff speaks English very well and even while I struggled to speak Spanish they would help you as well. Make sure you practice with the GPS to familiarize yourself with it and take your time getting the GPS loaded BEFORE LEAVING THE AIRPORT. Make sure you have all of the menu settings programmed so there is no confusion when on the highway. Note that when out and about in the countryside, Pay particular attention to the voice on the system and the graphics because at times you may think you should make a turn but there may be a time lag so in the back roads be cautious. There were times when the turn was given but it was a narrow side street and the turn was another 100 meters later. Use the standard transmission as you will get better gas mileage and there is more hp when going up some of the hills and rental rates are lower for standard transmission. This is a great company and beats the car rental brands you are familiar with who are U.S. based. A suggestion is to verify the collision is included and take it as it is so reasonable and there are no hassles when you return the car. You will definitely get car dings especially when parking in commercial areas so having collision (it is a cheap rate) is another less thing to worry about. I also had no issue when picking up or dropping the car off. Also if you do see some "marks" on the car when picking it up, make sure it is noted on the contract and also take a picture of the area on the car for your records. They were a very customer friendly car rental company and cannot say enough about how great they were to work with. I wish they had other locations outside of Spain as I would use them everywhere in Europe!!!

Arriving at the office the staff was friendly, we ask them to let us see the vehicle before performing the contract and they had no problem with it. The car had a brand more that was not marked in the contract, but one of the workers accompanied us to check the car and she pointed and she signed it. Thanks to them we could move to Malaga to visit the city. We had a problem with the rear light of the car, we call them and they say us to go back to change the bulb, this is the disadvantage of the company, they have only one office. Upon delivery, the boy checked that everything was fine and took us back to the airport. A wonderful holiday.

They simply did not care.The most shameful part was their immediate follow-up tactic: after rejecting my credit card, they instantly tried to upsell me their own in-house insurance at an absurdly inflated price. They stated that if I purchased this expensive insurance, they would then allow me to pay the deposit with a debit card. I informed them that I already had my own independent excess insurance coverage, but they completely refused to accept it.It was crystal clear that the policy regarding the name on the card was just an excuse and a bad-faith tactic to back me into a corner and force me to buy their abusive insurance. Zero flexibility, zero professionalism, and a clear attempt to scam the customer. Avoid this company at all costs.
