    Ordered via iPhone app, turned up on day and van ready. No fuss, simple, and van very good standard. Try them.

    What a terrifyingly unethical business! Called to rent a car, and was quoted a nice number. Then,…read morewhen the car was dropped off, I was given a receipt indicating that quoted amount, jolly good. THEN, over 500 pounds was taken out of my account without notice because of a damage deposit (it was stated this amount would be taken if the car came back damaged). This was not listed on the charge slip! When I contact customer services, I was told I could have reduced that deposit and paid it later by paying 20 pounds additionally. Of course, none of that was mentioned or outlined in the first place, and so I was left on my holiday with nothing to spend. I was told that upon returning the car in tip top shape, I'd receive the money back. So I kept that car clean and tidy, returned it (they picked it up two hours after the stated time) and then saw that the money had gone from pending to taken completely out of my account. I called, and was told they'd call back. They didn't. I called again. They said that the money would come back into my account, but that it could take up to 21 days for it to do so. 21 days! And again, nothing outlined in the receipts for charges that they said they'd be taken. A real disappointment and a smarmy, back ally business. Had I not had friends to rely on, I would have been stranded due to their snakey business practices. It is disgusting that none of their charges are displayed or explained up front, and that I had to call twice to get a straight forward answer as to where my money had gone. I wonder what they'll be doing with my 500 pounds for 21 days with the car in perfect condition? I do not recommend this business for a car rental. I have been left shocked and disgusted.
