I am glad I did because my experience with them went well and smooth, both in service staff and vehicle condition.Moreover Jose Pedro and Cristian at the service counter went well beyond my expectations due to the fact that I had to leave one of my suitcases at the airport because the POORLY TRAINED, LOWLIFE, IGNORANT, supervisor from VOLARIS IVAN MANRIQUEZ did not let me check in my baggage. These two gentlemen which they had nothing to do with my situation offered to store it while someone picks it up or even ship it to my house. After this wonderful and unique experience AVIS has gained my business from now on. Jose Pedro and Cristian really understand the meaning of CUSTOMER SERVICE. Once again, thank you, thank you. I hope AVIS corporate reads this review and gives you guys a raise or promotion.

When we got there, the car was great. Clean and in great shape. They walked us around and pointed out every scratch, ding, dent, and mark. Every one. We knew right away that they were going to ding us for ANY mark we made so we were sure to point out everything we say. We returned the car in perfect condition, but the guy found a ding on the rim of a tire. The rim. They NEVER inspected or noted anything on the rims when we rented it and then they claimed the damage was caused by us, which it wasn't. They refused to listen and when the bill game, they charged us $300 USD. That basically doubled the cost of the rental. We disputed the claim when we got home but so far they have not resolved the issue. The workers there are dead set on finding ways to increase profits. They required insurance even though our credit card provided coverage, and then they manufactured an additional $300 in charges. Unbelievable. I don't know if the other companies are any better, but I WOULD NOT use Enterprise to rent a car again.

The one-way, cash-only cost was $130, which we felt was reasonable given the safety and comfort we wanted as first-time travelers to this part of Mexico. Our experience was without incident.
