Always loved the pizza. There's not much else to say. Limited beer selection but fine enough for the area.

Rezk's Burger Lounge & Pizzeria - Double Combo

Recently I have been back in my hometown more times than I can count. When I lived here years ago,…read moreand any time I would visit over the years, options for dining were lacking. They still kind of are, but Rezk's kind of fills a void in this town. Their menu is the simple one that offers what one would consider to be bar food, absent the bar. Think fried, burgers, pizza, etc. The first time I tried this place we got the food and brought it home. The second we ate in house and both times, in my mind, were superb. Each time I have gone with the House Double. Which is a combo meal and you get fries with it. Cooked to your liking and topped how you prefer. I topped mine with lettuce, onion, pickles, and mayo. The fries are fresh cut and amazing. The combo also comes with a drink, and for $11, not a bad price. It is just the right size of meal to hold you over. Made fresh when you order, so comes out hot. The one item I did not like were the fried pickles. The menu didn't have much of a description of them, but they were not the best. I believe they prepare them in the same way they prepare the fries and even might used the press they use for the potatoes on the pickles. They come out like shoestring fries, not spears or chips. Because of that, when they batter them, and the pickles being too wet, they really don't cook in the middle. It is crisp on the outside, but doughy on the inside. If you eat inside it is a nice open area. Kind of an open kitchen concept where you can see them preparing your food. Front entrance and a side entrance. Side entrance is the handicap entrance if you were to come in. The noise level can go between noisy with the sounds from the kitchen going on to quieter than a library. Decent and well needed spot in town. I have yet to try the pizza, maybe that will be the next item I take on from here on my next visit.

I ordered the dinner special which was on the board as roast beef, potatoes, gravy and a veggie. My…read moreplate came with no veggie. When I asked "doesn't this come with a vegetable?" I got "no, I don't think so" as a response. I said "perhaps the sign shouldn't say it does then?" She walked away, muttering "I'll check". She came back with a small bowl of canned corn, muttered "I just bring the food" and the corn tasted like feet. I kid you not, FEET. No, I have not eaten feet before but I can't compare it to anything else. It was seasoned with feet. I didn't say anything because I don't know how to tell a cook that their vegetables taste like feet. I took one bite of the corn and threw it away. It made the rest of my very mediocre, barely warm food taste like feet. The gravy was brown salt water and I had to gargle with my Pepsi to get the feet taste out. It didn't even completely go away till I came home and brushed my teeth. My mother-in-law ordered 2 cheese slices and got 1, the young lady saying "we're making a fresh pizza for your 2nd slice." Why not just wait and give her 2 fresh slices, instead of unloading the last gross slice on her? It was hard and crusty and barely warm. The fresh slice that came was very good and that's why I'm giving 2 stars and not just 1. I've been here many times and I always order the dinner special because I'm not a huge pizza fan. My mom is though, and she says their pizza is pretty good. The other times we've been here, it's the same thing with the dinner special, it's like they took a Banquet TV dinner, warmed it up and scraped it onto a plate. This is the first time it's been feet flavored though, which is why I was compelled to write this review. Horrible.

My husband got fries and I got the stewed tomatoes. We also got two orders of breaded mushrooms. The food was good and I had mayonaise and relish at home so made my own tartar sauce; otherwise the sandwich would have been dry. I had ordered from the menu which was posted on Facebook in October of 2025. The price for the mushrooms was more than what was listed on the menu.

I'm not quite sure, but I think that this is the third iteration of this place in this town. I…read morecould be wrong, but I feel this iteration is quite possibly the best one at this point. Take note here, this iteration is located in the American Legion Post in this end of town. Hench why you have such weird hours for the business. However, do not let that deter you from trying this place. I'll tell you why, the food is worth it. Mr. Pizza used to be known for their pizza and hang out atmosphere. You'd come in and hang out with a bunch of your friends and enjoy yourself. Over time, and changes of venue and you get this more relaxed model you see here. Mostly it is for placing an order for pick up and taking it home to enjoy it. The menu isn't that vast, but what they do have, they have mastered. Yes, try the pizza, but venture a bit on the menu and give other items a try. I did just that on this visit and went the way of the bacon cheeseburger. I know, a burger from a pizza place isn't always the best thing to go with, but their spin on the burger is novel and quite possibly unique. Obviously you start with a burger patty, seasoned lightly. Then you place that on fresh baked bread. I want to say this is like a ciabatta bread from the texture, size, and shape of it. Instead of going the bacon strip route, they go the crumbled bacon route. In that matter they go the cheddar sauce route instead of sliced cheese. I do not know exactly what it was about that approach, but it worked. If feels like you get more cheese and bacon and each and every bite is covered in cheese and bacon. what was not on the burger patty itself was saved by that bread. I paired it with a side of bacon cheddar fries and had a full belly. A bit salty, but that was all my doing.

Recently I tried the Moscreek Bar & Grill, under new ownership, to try their service and pizza…read more Upon arrival I was met by one of the previous working waitresses and nicely talking to me got me a beer and took an order for a pizza. After which she started a tab, as usual. The owner/bartender then after running around doing other things came behind the bar. Very rudely I could hear him asking the waitress who I was and if I was O.K. She said yes and after sitting awhile waiting to order another drink, he finally gave me one. He then said my pizza was done and closed my tab out. Two beers and a large pizza. Since I was talking to other patrons, I ordered another beer and paid cash for it. He took the $2.75 for the beer but never gave it to me. I finished the beer I had and then asked for the one I paid for. He said he already gave it to me and the thru a baby tantrum and banged his hand off the counter yelling explicit words and names toward me. He then went to the Kitchen and grabbed my pizza throwing it at me still calling me the explicit names. I told him to check his cameras and he would see his mistake. Instead, he still kept calling me names as I left. I returned home to kids wanting some pizza only to find the pizza inedible due to what appeared to be several wads of spit on my pizza. Needless to say, I had to throw the pizza away and order another one from a different pizza shop. So, my adventure to try the new owners out, not only cost me getting ripped off the price of the beer and being called explicit names, I then had the cash loss off the spit pizza and had to waist time and gas to get another one from elsewhere.

Middle of nowhere goodness…read more Yeah, I think that sums it up. Just kidding, I must review this gem of a place. When you hear of a place in Moss Creek (pronounced mosscrick to the locals), your hopes don't usually go all that high. That was me when mentioned I would be dining here for the evening. Man, was I wrong about this place. The atmosphere inside is great. The room feels big and it is bright on the inside. No dark and dreary here. Wood gives it the feel that you are in a sportsman lodge. Seating is either at the bar or pick a table around the area, just not the pool tables. I opted for the bacon cheeseburger and loaded fries. When I was informed by members of my party that you won't be able to finish them, I doubted what they were saying. When my food arrived, I could see why they said that. The loaded fries are a plate to itself, and piled high with toppings. Cheese, sour cream, green onions, green peppers, bacon, and I'm sure I'm missing some toppings here as they were loaded. The burger was quite possibly one of the best burgers I have ever tasted, and I'm not just saying that. Cook perfectly to my liking, the bacon was crispy, toppings fresh and no need to add anything to it. As far as the bar aspect, they know what they are doing here, that being said, you are not going to find all the fancy beers you would at a bar situated in a more populated area. So stick to the basics here. They also have the capability to make plenty of mixed drinks. Make sure to use your GPS to get here, but believe me, it's worth it.

Going home just doesn't feel like it used to compared to just a few short years ago for me. There's…read morea number of reasons for that, but this isn't that type of review. One of the things I miss the most is the home cooked meals I would look forward to. Recently, those meals are far and few in between. On a recent trip my brother and I had decided to give this place a try. He had been here before, but this would be my first time. We ventured over and walked in. There wasn't much of a crowd and we were seated with menus in hand in no time. I did a once over of the menu quickly and spotted meatloaf. I don't know what it is about meatloaf on a menu, but I have to give it a try each and every time I see it. Our server was quick to take our order and we were just now going to wait until things started to arrive. I looked around the space as we waited and took it in. This place really does give off a small town vibe with the decor. My brother told me that the space is bigger when they use the other dining room as well. With it being not so busy, they had no need to use that part of the space. Unlike the one reviewer that said they get hit with a smell when they come in here, the only smell I got hit with was the food being prepared. We both started off with a side salad. It was a decent size, but I did have to pick through it a bit as there was some undesirable pieces of lettuce floating in the salad. They give you ample salad dressing so you can go all in or add as you go. Wasn't anything special, lettuce, tomato, onion and your dressing. Nice way to start off the meal. Then the main dish arrived. Like I said, I went with the meatloaf which came with two sides and a roll. For my sides I went with mashed potatoes and my choice of vegetable, corn. The choice of vegetable varies on what they have that day. You could tell that there were some shortcuts taken on some of the plate, but not the meatloaf. With gravy over the meatloaf and mashed potatoes it was the way to go. The meatloaf was seasoned nicely, it was overpowered by peppers or onions, it was just right. I did the Pennsylvania thing in me with the mashed potatoes and corn. I would take a glob of the potatoes and stick it in the corn to eat it. Not sure if anyone else does this, but I find it easier and sometimes the combination is spot on. The addition of the sweet corn to the potatoes gives is a buttery taste. While we were noshing away at our meal we got a bacon cheeseburger with fries to go for my Dad waiting at home. They cooked it at just the right time. As we were finishing up the meal I saw them placing the to go order near the counter. Almost perfect timing. Paying was easy and we headed out for the night.

Today was the first time we have tried this restaurant. The initial smell of old and moldy hit us…read moreright as we walked into the front door, but people were seated in the main area, so decided to stay and give it a try. The speed of service was amazing. The wait staff was attentive, kind, and very quick. I have absolutely no complaints when it came to service. The food is another matter entirely. I'm surprised they are still in business with the food quality. The Italian hoagie is a joke, and would make a real Italian spit on his grandmother. The turkey hoagie (which we ordered cold) came out toasted with a piece of crunchy American "cheese" in the top, with half burnt bread. The pulled pork looked like it was either eaten before, or sat in the fridge for a week. It was like slop on a plate. Disgusting is an understatement. We more than likely will not be going back. Save your money.
