We were looking to go to a waterpark and chose this ahead of other indoor water parks .. went on a weekday in summer and it was chaotic ! Though there are some good rides , it just takes forever to get into a ride ! Some rides are 1 hour wait times and it just doesn't make sense .. foood and drink is extremely expensive ! Like a drink costs about 15$ and a slice of pizza about 10$ .. they just aim to make money .. they don't have anything called "customer service".. half of the rides were closed too , making it worse ! They have very less floaters and make you rent one for 10-15$ .. have never been to a wave pool and not float on it . We were just walking around the full wave pool ! Ridiculous ! Luckily we have a yearly pass . I would never recommend this to anyone taking a day pass . It's not worth it . You could go to camelback or any other indoor water parks which is much better !! Parking is crazy too ! The only good thing here is the wave pool ... overall a very very average experience and it could be much better than a money making business ! Pls give more priority to customer service and customer happiness !

This park is UNSAFE. I got into an accident on the Hurricane Mountains ride (orange slide) where pretty much 2 seconds into the ride, my tube flipped me over and I tumbled down the tunnel without a tube. I desperately scrambled to get back onto the tube as I was getting scraped and battered while continuing to roll down through the tunnel Right before the big drop at the end I finally managed to get back on the tube, who knows what would've happened if I didn't. I ended up with multiple scrapes, cuts, and bruises (see photos), and my foot was sprained. I don't even want to think about what would've happened if I didn't fight to get back onto my tube before the big drop at the end, probably would've been much worse Someone seriously needs to investigate the safety of this park, will try to find the relevant people to pass this info off to. Aside from that, the park is old, poorly run, and rides keep breaking. On the day I went, all 3 slides at The Falls as well as The Tornado were shut down. Those are all the top thrill rides so there's almost nothing left worth riding. Lines for the leftover rides were terrible (1.5 hours for that boring reef runner ride) Also people keep cutting in line and the staff really don't care

My friend got cut by the lazy river rock wall. Very dangers.

Would not come back. : 1. Unclean 2. Unsafe 3. High prices. Recommend voucher. 4. Most slides open late when busy.

    The slides all to ourselves.

We love the fact this place stayed open until the end of September, maybe even October this year. It's hell-a hot and too many of these waterparks or amusement parks with water rides, close off their water section way too early in the year, especially being Memorial Day weekend and part of June can be too cold. Keep up the later in the year openings.

Hurricane Harbor is what you'd typically expect out of a water park. It's not extremely large. Lines are crazy long for the slides on weekends. Pools and attractions are packed with people. Food is expensive. We got in with a discounts but to pay $40 to park and full price to get in with the size of this place. I wouldn't say it's worth it. They don't have enough tubes for the lazy River so people just walk through them. Kids would love it. Adults ‍

It wasn't too busy near the end of the season. With the great adventure pass it's a great deal.

I honestly wish I could give this place 100 stars…read more Breakwater Beach was fun pre-COVID, but I have to give credit where credit is due: they truly have gone above and beyond in order to ensure their guests are SAFE during this weird AF time. We've been going to Breakwater Beach for years. Although it is not as fancy as say Hurricane Harbor, Breakwater Beach HAS renovated in the past few years and everything is sparkly and new. While their number of attractions is on the smaller side, there is still a good enough selection of things to cool you off on a hot day. Not to mention, they have plenty of lifeguards posted at various spots in the park, and they are quick to tell a misbehaving child if they are, for example, horsing around in the wave pool. (Not that I have ANY experience with this... *side eyes rambunctious 6 year old niece*) However, during COVID, this place is DOING THE DAMN THING! Doing any sort of 'fun' activity during COVID is admittedly a calculated risk. Yet I truly felt like I was well-protected because I have never seen such an aggressive form of sanitation in my life. Breakwater Beach had designated sanitizers for all of the attractions - so you got off your inner tube, and it was immediately sprayed with sanitizer. You walked on a ride, you sanitized your hands. You flew down the 'banana slide,' screamed your face off, and handed your matt to get a thorough cleaning. Social distancing markers were everywhere and workers wore masks. I wish we took such drastic sanitation measures at my job, TBH! But the best part is...we booked a birthday party at Breakwater Beach for my rambunctious 6-year-old niece (the one mentioned above who TOTALLY WAS NOT HORSING AROUND IN THE WAVEPOOL!). We were given a designated a cabana for our partying and an associated who was in charge of the party. Shout out to Katie for being the MVP of Breakwater Beach. Holy moly, this girl did not stop for us all day - bringing water, pizza, goodie bags, ensuring everyone was happy...to be so peppy and so helpful is honestly a feather in her cap. Breakwater Beach, please give Katie a raise immediately. We were the first group to book a party there; perhaps we are crazy, but if your child has a birthday in the next few weeks and you're in the area, please inquire about having it at Breakwater Beach. Because the water park is opened at limited capacity, there was essentially no wait for the attractions, and we were able to freely ride all day, up until 6pm at night. Breakwater Beach was always clean, fun, and friendly, but now, it has really become a great place to bring the kids during COVID. Don't sit on this one! PS - their food is amazing. It's just greasy boardwalk food, but it's delicious greasy boardwalk food.

We arrived around 10:30AM (park opened at 10AM). Rented 2 lockers to hold our dry items, you either need to use a card or use exact cash - small lockers are $10 and large lockers are $12. That gains you access to the lockers for 24 hours, with as many in/outs as you need. There was a decent crowd but not overcrowded. We easily found 8 lounge chairs together to place all of our towels and flipflops down (we highly suggest wearing flipflops to the park). The kids enjoyed the non-working wave pool, the 3 slides, wave rider (surf machine). The adults enjoyed the hot tub. The wave pool and wave rider had warm water, the hot tub had hot water. Two of the slides are for 1-2 riders and one of the slides was for 3+ riders. The water for the 3+ riders was rather cold but the slides also go outside and this is the middle of January. The hot tub only allows those 18 and over, which was a nice treat for the adults. There is a tiki bar inside the water park with margaritas, frozen drinks, and beer - a decent mix of options. The bartender was extremely friendly, as were all the staff. There is a food stand with a large mix of options and the food was okay, with typical prices for this type of revenue. Everyone had a good time and we ended up spending 6 hours total at the water park. All in all, it was well worth the admission fees and is a place we would return to.

Hello Darlings! Your…read moreHost is back. It's time to get those creative literary juices flowing once more and peck out a trip review of Six Flags Great Adventure. My last trip review of SFGADV was in October, 2018, well before the Cedar Fair / Six Flags merge in 2024. For this here review, we'll cover the attractions we experienced on Sunday, July 19, 2026 and our thoughts concerning the visit on the whole. So, let's get down to the business at hand, shall we? The first thing, darlings, is to be aware that cash is *not* king here. In fact, the park is completely cashless. Please make certain you have some form of a cash alternative with you when visiting here. Examples: debit/credit cards, Apple/Google Pay, sugar daddies with these alternatives, etc. Since my bud Ron and I have memberships, we get four free FAST Lanes for each and every visit (don't be jealous!), so waiting long periods of time for rides wasn't a factor for this visit...we skipped four long lines and did four rides, which kept any wait to an absolute minimum. If you're a parkie and plan to do several visits, a membership may be worth its weight in gold, so to speak. And while you're at it, spring for the meal plan and get a beverage cup. Food is not inexpensive so you might want to consider this, especially if you don't want to leave the park and trek over to the nearby Wawa or McD's. A note about the drink cup: it is cheaply made yet it must last you the entire season. DO NOT put it in a dishwasher. DO NOT leave it in a hot car. It will melt like the Wicked Witch of the West and you will be shocked when you find out how much $$ you'll have to shell out (cashless, of course) a pretty cashless penny to replace it. They won't ever give you a freebie...no such thing as a free lunch, especially at Six Flags, so treat the cup as you would your first born. Here are the rides we experienced on this trip and how Your Host rates them: 1. FLASH: Vertical Velocity (B-). It opened last season but this was our first ride on it. Overall, it's exciting and a bit disorienting. The hang time is really cool, but that's about it. I found it sort of meh-ish despite the other stuff, but if we had to wait on that long line, we would've been unhappy, to say the least. Fortunately, we had Fast Lane, so we went directly to the front of the line, which ameliorated any dissatisfaction with the experience overall. 2. Barrels of Fun (F). Content creators gave this some pretty positive accolades so i looked forward to this one. But darlings, this ride is a banger and quite violent. This is a spinning Wild Mouse that was relocated from SF America and had been completely restored. It's pretty, I'll admit, but looks only get you so far. Things start out okay at first but descend into the depths of Hell as the ride progresses. Once the car starts spinning right round baby like a record baby do things become like going a few rounds with Mike Tyson. It's NOT a fun ride (unless you're seriously into PAIN). Rename this ride to "Barrels of Agony' or "Barrels of Torture"...not "Barrels of Fun". 3. Saw Mill Log Flume (B). For a flume, it's pretty darn good and we got soaked...so go in with that expectation. The park did a great job restoring the ride and like Barrels, it's pretty. It's not silky smooth but fun overall. Ideal in hot weather...ideally. 4. Medusa (B+). Your standard B&M floorless looper. Fun and exciting and a recommended stop here. DINING: Best of the West (A-). For park fare, it's pretty darn good. Both of us had pulled pork sandwiches, which come with tater tots, corn bread (they really want to carb one up!) and Cole slaw. Since I'm not an avid fan of the tot, they went largely untouched. The sandwich wasn't the easiest thing to eat so it's was a fork in' experience, but that's okay. Recommended. Overall a nice way to spend a few hours and a nice time. The park looks clean and fresh, and the owners are making great progress in beautifying it. Yes, definitely come visit and get back to me... Since I have a season pass, getting into the park is always quick and smooth. I usually go with my 3-year-old daughter, and she absolutely loves the kids sections. The lines are never too long, which makes the whole experience great for her! Face painting is about $30 which is a bit pricey but that's what is expected at a park like this. Overall, it's always a great time.
