Visited Hurricane Harbor for the first time in about 10+ years! It was great for a hot day but super crowded aka long wait times. After waiting 30+ minutes for Hurricane Mountain, we decided to rent a tube since waiting for a tube has a long line in itself. The toboggan ride actually has a conveyor belt which brings the toboggan (aka long tube) up to the top and you can choose between a green or yellow track. What held up the line the most was the toboggan being sent up to the top. Other than that, the other tubes included on this ride was self serve so you wait on a line to get a tube to wait on a line to get on the tube (grueling). Renting a tube felt more like having a flash pass since we eliminated 15-20 minutes from waiting for one in the first place. We rented a 2 rider tube for $12. If you return the tube you get a $1 deposit. Now, I recommend this if you're looking to bang out the tube rides and lazy river first then return it when you're done. If you're doing things like eating, going to the shops, etc it could be annoying because your lugging the tube around making sure to watch it at all times to get your deposit back. You can pay a little extra to bring the tube into the wave pool but the wave pool was so crowded we couldn't even fit it there without running someone over. Speaking about the wave pool, my bf wore a life vest and the lifeguard told him to take it off...guess they rather have him drown? I need to know the reason to this so let me know if you know LOL. I am guessing because the waves can float you away? Not sure. They also kick everyone out which felt like every hour I guess due to the over crowding? The lazy river was so packed to the point that I was rolling over everyone with my tube I was trying to lay so relax in. This park is pretty small, we finished it within 3 hours including waiting on lines. If you're looking to put your stuff in a locker, be prepared to spend $16 and that's for the smallest one. The lockers aren't timed which is nice but $16? They know people come into water parks with towels, change of clothes, etc. That is just a rip off. Oh and parking is $30. If you're doing Great Adventure and Hurricane Harbor there is a shuttle that takes you to the either park just so you don't have to spend another $30. A bottle of water is almost $6 and the food is expensive as well. I got my ticket for $38 but paying $38 plus $30 parking plus a $16 locker plus a $6 water (because who wants to be dehydrated?) comes out to a total of 90+ not even counting if you want to eat or buy yourself a gift. I wish they had a hydration station like Great Adventure so I didn't have to purchase a $6 bottle of water when I can purchase a pack of 48 for that price. Water, a necessity. Food lines were out of this world, just the overall crowdedness was overbearing. Normally, I'd argue that a bad day at an amusement park still beats a good day at the office, but our abysmal visit to Hurricane Harbor brings new meaning to "piss poor." First and foremost, nobody here cares about their jobs. Nobody. Now that that's out of the way... Of the seven different six flags parks we've been to this season alone (we're passholders), Hurricane Harbor is BY FAR the worst at handling general lines and Flash passes - even Great Adventure right next door has it down pat! No one knows where to direct flash pass holders, there are several "stops" before going on the slide (get tube, get on line, go up stairs, pick slide), all of which require you to show your wristband to a person along the way and saves little time after you've already waited your time off the ride. There are separate staircases that are un/underutilized and the fact that there are only 20-25 tubes available per slide makes for unnecessary waiting, whether you have a flash pass or not. Once you get to the top to actually go on the slides, the slow lines suddenly make sense. They have ONE lifeguard staffed for FOUR slides, and the cluster of six slides we went on had only two lifeguards there. So all the rides were understaffed where they obviously needed it the most, and as a result, 2-3 minutes would go by at a time before the lone lifeguard remembered that he hadn't sent someone down the blue slide in a while. Considering the fact that 3-4 "flash pass" people are staffed on each ride for the 5% of attendees holding flash passes and I'd call this a really inefficient use of human resources. When you complain to a ride attendant or lifeguard, they tell you to talk to their supervisor. When you complain to the supervisor (yea, I'm talking to the snotty woman working Bada Bing & Hurricane Mountain), they tell you to talk to guest relations. When you talk to guest relations, they tell you to talk to "Flash Pass" as if the flash pass is an actual person, rather than the inanimate object that it actually is. Apparently six flags has a deal with flash pass but no one seems to be aware of who's actually in charge, and no one has any power to do anything at all. Thanks for nothing. Hurricane Harbor does one thing really well though - they make it over-the-top obvious that THEY WANT ALL YOUR MONEY AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE! Parking is $25, although thankfully that's included with our season passes, so I'll let that one slide. Once inside though, if you're lucky enough to find some chairs, you'll then be treated to signs stating that "all personal belongings left unattended will be discarded" with the reassurance that you can rent an all-day locker...for $14. Yes folks, not only is Six Flags not responsible for your unattended articles (which is obviously understandable), but they will actually go out of their way to throw away your stuff for no reason other than spite. Tired of waiting to go into the overcrowded lazy river? Rent a tube for another $14 and wedge yourself right on in there. You can also take your rental tube onto three of the other rides, but for ones you can't, you have to just leave it behind and hope no one takes it (six flags staff included, because remember, "unattended items"). Oh, and here's a drinking game idea: Take a shot every time you see an ad while walking around this park...you'll be dead before lunchtime. I'm talking hair gel, broadway plays, grape juice drink...you know, things that people really think about when they're in a water park. I know I know, New Jersey sucks, but how on earth can Great Adventure - which is literally right next door - be so well run?? After the water park closed, we went over to Great Adventure, and we got on more rollercoasters and rides in TWO HOURS with NO FLASH PASSES than we did ALL DAY at Hurricane Harbor WITH FLASH PASSES. Other six flags parks in the east (I'm talking to you Maryland & New England!) are friendly, giving high-fives and fist-bumps after every coaster ride, and go out of their way to show (or at least pretend) they actually CARE about their customers, providing a fun experience, and moving people along as safely and quickly as possible. Hurricane Harbor couldn't care less. And neither could I. Skip this mess of a "park" and take your business elsewhere.... read more

The water was a little dirty there was hair in the lazy river. All the chairs were full long lines for slides and the life guards get pissed off for no reason. Also another life guard was sleeping and not paying attention. Overall this place is over hyped. read more

First time going to Hurricane Harbor a few weeks back. It's hard to go wrong with water parks so wasn't disappointed with Hurricane Harbor but wasn't too impressed either. Went on a good 6-7 rides with some friends, one in which was one of those rides where you do down a dark tunnel and have to sit on one of those tubes, ended up falling off the tube while going down the tunnel and kinda clonked my head in the tunnel. No injuries though so it wasn't that bad and not really grading HH off of that. What was weird, possibly about Hurricane Harbor was the amount of young people that work here and I am not talking like first year college young, I'm talking like just hit teenage years LOOKING young. But that is neither here nor there I guess, as long as they are being paid and the rides are functional, that's what matters. Other than that, they typical theme park feel. Rides and overpriced food. Cool of course for a group of friends and families to enjoy a hot day out. read more

We have season passes to six flags because we live close by. The only reason why we go her is that we have small kids and they enjoy riding all the rides. The place is poorly run with huge lines and rude people at the park at times. My family visited the water park early to get seats which we did found shaded seating. However, around 2pm when the park got busiest a woman came to our area and started helping herself to our seats. We asked her to move nicely because we had a large party and needed the seats. She had refused to move and then we started arguing in which case I said I would get security. The lady said go ahead, so at this point I went to find your security personnel. I had explained to the security person the whole situation that a woman had tried to take our seats and we were there first. To my surprise, the employee said that they cannot do anything because it's a public area. I get that and all, but its common courtesy which some other guests does not have concerning first come first served. All I was asking for security was to intervene and ask the woman to move because the seats were already occupied. I asked the employee if the woman had refused already then I would have to confront her and then it might draw us into verbal or physical confrontation. I'm risking to be removed from the park because your security would not intervene on my behalf. When I returned, my family and the woman got into a shouting exchange because she would not leave. After a few minutes of causing a big scene the woman finally left. However, this really ruined our whole family's day when we had to deal with this. It could have been prevented if security would have stepped in. They should have some way assisted in diffusing the situation as we came to security personal for help. I felt that this could have been prevented had security stepped in. Six Flags is asking the guests to fight for themselves which we did. It could have ended differently for the worst because of their failure to intervene. If you go here employees will not help you if you have issues with other patrons. read more

An absolute nightmare. First off, always overcrowded where lines are each an hour+ for any ride, even mid-week. Parking all the way in Kalamazoo. Conveyor belts for specific tube rides move at the slowest pace making waiting extra long. Staff is more or less useless, though lifeguards I've found to be friendly. The rides itself, pretty decent and fun. My favorite is the Tornado (huge funnel you go up and down the walls), but the tube is extremely heavy to lug up stairs and always the longest wait time. Also towards the entrance/exit of the park (right side) are 4 hidden slides that are super fun, though the park constantly has them closed from my assumption of being understaffed. They went an entire season of having these closed due to that which is unacceptable. They are the best slides and usually shortest line. Lazy river = not so lazy. It is SWAMPED with crazy, rude kids splashing and kicking. Takes AGES to obtain a tube and it's cutthroat. I wish they would designate certain days/hours for ages 12+ or something. Overall not an abundance of rides; they could definitely add more. Food is typical, overpriced theme park stuff. Recommend visiting this park still, but be prepared to get on maybe 4 things total. read more

The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because of the decent and fun rides. Other than that, everything else has been full of negatives. Let's begin: 1. It takes forever to get on rides, I'm talking 1-2 hours wait. You first begin waiting for the raft and then go up the stairs and wait even more. The park is understaffed, meaning that there would be one worker at 3 slides at a time. 2. The place is unhygienic. The cafe tables were dirty and the stairs up to the rides had a smell. The changing area was the worst. The shower and the changing room had a horrible stench and we tried to get out there as soon as possible. 3. The workers were unfriendly and unproductive. When I finished on one of the rides and pushed the raft closer to the worker to get, he literally told me to pick it up and give it to him in a rude manner. Yeah, so I'm paying all this money for this rude service? 4. A lot of rides were closed! We really wanted to go on the Cobra and the lazy river but those were both closed. And the wave pool had no waves whatsoever! This caused the overcrowding on other rides. 5. Overpriced. Payed $15 for all day locker and $55 for food for 3 people. Thank goodness I had the student discount so admission and parking were half price. Other than that, this park is definitely overpriced. Came with my son - just him & I! We travel via bus. The port authority NJ transit bus has a package with admission included for a very reasonable price. We got there early (once the park opened) so our plan was to hit the tubes and leave the wave pool and lazy River for last to avoid long lines. That didn't last long. My son was eager to do the wave pool and we were ready for the wave pool after the first two slides. My favorite is the lazy River, I mean come on! Who doesn't? You get to lay in a tube under the sun while having the cool water beneath you. They added two new attractions and transformed the funnel cake to funnel fries- which were AMAZING!! I recommend downloading the park app to order your food, it helps avoid lines and they're actually pretty quick with having your food ready. We will definitely be back, next time I think I'll opt for the flash pass ;) read more

Disappointed by long waits this season. I guess they aren't paying as much as the McDonald's across the highway with the lack of staff. A more than 45 minutes on line for mobile pick up on Boardwalk Steak and Fries. One person cooking. Doubt we will do the snack add on for the food pass as this is the 2nd year we haven't been able to use. The snack places closed before the end of the time slots. With the long waits for food I am considering a abandoning the meal plan and leaving early, and not bother next year. read more

TLDR: for the price, it was great. wouldn't go on a weekend, and expect regular theme park prices on things. Cant bring in water or food. Some of the rides look a lil run down and they don't go out of the way to create any ambiance - but for the price I was ok with it. Over all fun day at the park, with a fun and long lazy river! Get there early to beat the rush. -- okay, I was expecting the worst when I got to Hurricane Harbor, because of all of the terrible reviews, but i honestly had a great day. maybe it's because I've been to a ton of water parks / amusement parks so I kinda knew what to expect? Went on a Tuesday, but it was 90deg perfect weather so I figured it would still be busy. Tickets were $30, which seems like a steal - compared to Disney/Universal water parks (granted they are way nicer). Parking was $23, which again, is pretty on par with every water park or amusement park I've ever been to, so I didn't love it but have accepted it. They opened at 10am, we got to the parking lot at 10:15am, because we wanted to beat the crowds. Parking was super easy, and the line to get in was maybe 5 minutes (purchased my tix before hand online). Full disclosure: We rented the "Blue Lagoon VIP Lounge Chair Package" online before hand for $30, and it made the day SOO much better. In person, I saw that they were charging $50 and it sold out around 12pm, so buy in advance. It came with 2 beach chairs, a table, a big beach umbrella, 2 water bottles, and it's a roped off area, wristbands required so we felt safe leaving our bags and stuff at our chairs. It didn't feel packed because it was really spaced out, and its along side the wave pool so its a good view. Next to the lazy river entrance, the food stands and right over the bridge from the bathrooms, so next to every thing we wanted. If you can spring for it, I would definitely recommend this package, but it is only for 2 people. Otherwise, some shaded areas are available but I'd get there early for prime picking. To be fair, i'm pregnant so I did not go on any rides. only used the wave pool and lazy river. Lazy river wasn't crazy packed and we had no trouble getting tubes. We didn't have to rent them, but it is an option and saw some people going that route. Loved the lazy river, lots of water shooting out and little waterfalls, really long river. The lines for rides didn't look insanely long so i can't speak on that BUT almost every ride was open. Only one was closed, i know a lot of reviews mentioned closed rides due to low staff. Not sure if I just got lucky or we're out of the woods with that. Other things I saw mentioned in reviews: food prices, expensive but also on par with theme parks. 4 big chicken tenders and fries - $12. Ice cream cone (Rita's) $5.99. One big bummer which I did take a star off for was no food or drinks, including WATER allowed to be brought in. Annoying, and we should at least be allowed to bring in water. Bathrooms were not bad at all. Yes, very wet. water everywhere, but it's a water park. TP was always stocked and nothing was gross, so I was satisfied. They have changing stalls next to the bathroom which I really appreciated since you could change in a dry stall before you go home without worrying about getting your clothes all wet. read more

I would never go back here again. I came here on a Monday and expected it to be less crowded but the park was packed! I got there around 11:30 and waited in two different lines to get through the security check and to get tickets. It would be better if they had separate lines for people who did not have any bags with them so they don't have to wait so long. The lines for the water rides were about an hour each and were not worth it. The way the lines were set up didn't make sense either. People waited in one line to get their tubes then walked up the stairs and waited in that line to ride. It would be more efficient if the tubes were available at the top where the ride starts instead of making people carry the tubes up the stairs. I basically was able to ride 4 rides in the 5 hours I was there which is ridiculous. It's not worth the price you pay unless you have a season pass and even then it doesn't seem to be worth it. Not worth the diamond elite membership. I made a reservation for the main diamond area only to be told it's at the toddler area not by the wave pool which that's where it was last year. I've been going to the water park for over 20 years and now I'm done. There are no available seats unless you pay more. May 30th 2022 I have been coming here for along time. I am a member since they introduced membership. I come here with my family. I get here about 10 am. Well today is the 1st time this year. 1st they reduced the number of free chairs and increased cabanas and paid chairs 50 a chair.. so to me they seem more money hungry 2nd the staff tge staff and managers are ruder then before 3rd the mobile order is no useless. It was underwhelmingly small, Mountain Creek's waterpark is much better. However, I still enjoyed my time there! How to save $$: purchase tickets online at least a day before and get up to $8 off! Tips: Instead of purchasing flash pass to skip lines, you can also do tube rentals, I think it was only $7 per rental! You might want to buy a waterproof cellphone case before going there because it's around $17 at the waterpark. It's also convenient for putting cash and credit card in the case so you don't need to go back to the locker. I would also recommend bringing quick dry shoes or water friendly shoes instead of sandals so you don't have to hold on to it during your rides or putting it aside some public area and grabbing them after the ride. Lastly, if you don't have any valuables in your towel bag it's actually pretty safe to leave your belongings by your water ride instead of paying for a locker! read more

I would first like to say how cooperative and the workers were, and although the company and franchise itself has flaws most of the workers were outstandingly honest and willing. To start, when I first arrived I was amazed at the lines when entering it looked almost as if it were a ghost town. Meanwhile, my beliefs were quickly changing. The park was packed with the small rides having a quite long wait. I personally love the toilet bowl. Wherever I go that is the first thing I go to (in a water park,) though here that was simply not the case. Soon later I went back to the toilet bowl, and I was astonished to see a larger/longer line. Secondly, the prices were outrageous. A single slice of pizza was almost $20! These numbers were just unreasonable and quite frankly unrealistic. Another example is the sour patch kids. Everyone knows that they are $1-$4 usually. Though here, it was $9! This was so outrageous words can't describe how I felt. Least to say, I did not partake in it. Finally, the rides were simply unsafe, I would be surprised if they are even up to code. Me and my fellow peer, let's call him Chris. Me and Chris were on our way up the long and busy line for a ride, a ride of threats. Through the ride it was slow and calming. Though, towards the end it flung me. I went 5 feet off the raft, and my friend who was in the back flung even farther! Least to say the lifeguards were no help and even though there were no serious injuries, who knows what can to YOU. Now I've been over the negatives and now it's time for the positives. To begin, there were many laughs through the journey. From the rides, to the food, even to the lazy river. Speaking of the lazy river. The staff were very relaxed and not serious about the rules. I recommend going in without a tube. Try fighting the current, or you can even find where the water is pushed and fight or see how far it can flow you. Secondly, despite the abomination of prices the mozzarella sticks, pizza, and water were quite appetizing and reliving. Just DO NOT repeat the same mistake as me, bring water and a lot of it. Though even if you don't they can offer you free tap water. Finally, disputing the past argument. Some of these water slides were up to code and amazingly fun. F and I thought, hey, hot summer day, end of season, let's hang out by the pool. Hahahaha! Absolutely the opposite of what I was picturing. First, parking $25. Lines. Park far away from entrance. Enter, line. Frisk and bag search. No food or drink allowed. You need to buy their deep fried everything. Packed, no chairs. We are sitting under a tree in the dirt. All "pools" are 3 feet deep. Literal sea of humanity. Crowds are bad. Lines are worse. We were in the park before the rides were open and still waited on line. It's just inefficiency all around. We even noted the ride operators keeping track of the number of riders with a piece of paper/pen marking in 5's. We were on four rides in 5 hours. The lazy river was so crowded was downright dangerous. Most people gave up waiting/fighting for a tube and just walked the river. Waited in line at lunch and ice cream too...that again was just inefficiency. Also, lunch for 2 adults and two kids (two slices of pizza, two chicken tenders meals plus four drinks ) was around $80. I wish I could give negative stars. Wouldn't even advise going at your own caution. Don't go. My family of five has made annual trips to Hurricane Harbor for over ten years. It was a cherished family tradition, but our experience at the park today was beyond disappointing--it was physically impossible and at times, repulsive. Wait times for slides were longer than two hours, the lazy river had no available tubes and hordes of people waded through the water, the wave pool, our last hope of having a good time, was broken and nobody communicated it to the hundreds of people waiting for the slightest wave. Crowds even started chanting "We want waves" and it felt more like a protest than a park. On top of the poor park experience, we were horrified by the state of the changing room. The shower water had a strong stench and changing rooms were smeared with feces. This is unacceptable and unhygienic. When I followed up with a guest relations, I was dismissively told our experience was to be expected on such a hot day, but we have been to the park many times in the past on similar days and have never encountered issues to this extreme. Furthermore, we were "reassured" that the park entry had already been capped at 10,000 but as we left there were still a stream of people. Our experience today was unforgettably terrible and there was no effort by guest relations to address any of our concerns. read more

*things you need to know before entering* -bring water shoes (highly recommended) not sandals, water shoes. The floor is extremely hot on summer days and sandals have to be removed for most water slides and the lazy river. -you most likely HAVE to rent a locker and it's $16 for the day to rent a small locker. -you cannot bring any food or beverage, absolutely NO glass is allowed inside. It's difficult to have a good time here. I'll explain to you why. First, this place is small, so expect tons of people crammed into a small weirdly spread out water park. Upon entering you have to walk deep into the park to find a bathroom or locker room. Second, because of its size it gets very crowded very quickly. The lines get super long to get on the thrill rides. Most of the staff seem over worked and uncomfortable from the blazing heat. Third, the food available besides Rita's Italian ice is terrible. Lastly, for the price, it's nothing compared to the adventure park. Hope you enjoy it, but If you're wondering if you should do the adventure park or water park, I suggest adventure! read more

I have taken a full 24 hours to write this review so I could breathe and count to 10. Our swim team makes an annual outing to Waterworld in Concord, CA (now owned by Six Flags and renamed Hurrican Harbor) and have done so for the last 8-10 years. THIS year may have been our final year. I am the organizer and I am embarassed that I made this our team outing this year for ALL of the following reasons... PRICE We used to get our tickets online or at Costco. The price used to be approximately $35, with the discount it was $27/$28. Parking over the years inched from free, to $10 up to $15 last year which is a lot for a day at a water park. NOW there are no Costco tickets. You can "save" $6 by purchasing your tickets 24 hours in advance BUT there is a $9 service fee for those who are bad at reading or math- thanks Six Flags for screwing over families! The price is now $45 and parking is a whopping $25! For me and my 2 children that made $169 before we ever got through the gates! CLEANLINESS AND PARK APPEARANCE There was always only one set of bathrooms at the front of the park, even with Waterworld which is a massive error in design- I am SURE that it causes people too lazy to walk back to pee in the pools. ALSO I saw a little boy drop his trunks and pee under his lawn chair with his mom's ok- I know she okayed it bc she then poured water over the pee! Six Flags- if you are truly trying to improve this park you MUST add restrooms in at least 2 other strategic locations. The state of the current restrooms has deteriorated as well- broken doors, no hooks, dirty floors and toilets and faucets that don't work. There was an attendant in there spraying and wiping the counters but honestly it looked like she was rearranging deck chairs on a sinking Titanic. FIX the cleanliness, appearance, workability and AVAILABILITY of bathrooms PLEASE! An adult drank too much and threw up in the wave pool towards the end of the day- as is I am sure the protocol they closed the wave pool...for about 10 minutes and then it reopened- I am not sure how they cleaned and chemically shocked a pool that size in that short of time but that is truly disgusting! People get sick and I am sure with that many kids all kinds of nastiness can happen in a pool- but make sure that it gets treated appropriately or people will get sick. ALSO- Six Flags has taken away BOTH shade structures AND lounge chairs. There were hundreds of regular lawn chairs and everyone crammed together trying to find shade on a 104 degree day. The only place there are lounge chairs and true shade is in their "Pay by the DAY" cabana area and the cost for a Cabana for 10 people is $250. Are you effing kidding me?????? Everyone in our group of supervisors ended up grumpy and hot and many burned bc we were trying to crowd under the edge of your Gilligan's Island style shade structure. It was truly awful. You need to add more chairs, lounge chairs, and lots more shade. Also misters would be a great add-on as well. CONSTRUCTION It would appear that the park is being upgraded to include a structure that is new and safe for smaller kids where the former lilly pads were- but all day we watched AND heard a crane swinging giant pieces of play structure overhead. It also smelled of diesel fuel the whole day. Can this work NOT have happened before the season started? OR before/after hours? It felt unsafe and definitely affected our enjoyment from a sound and smell perspective- on a seriously hot day sitting and smelling diesel fuel was truly awful! FOOD and SERVICE Waterworld always suffered from tyranical front gate bag searches not allowing even a bottle of water in- I am not sure if this has changed under Six Flags, BUT the food has essentially remained the same and the normally painful 20-30 minute lines for the main snack shack were 60-80 minutes yesterday. SERIOUSLY- when you consider the cost of getting through the door you should not have to wait in line for over an hour in 104 degree heat to get chicken nuggets and french fries that are both overpriced AND cold when you get them. THIS is beyond not okay. There was also a smaller snack bar near our seats by the wave pool- CLOSED. Hmmmm....also not okay on a very hot summer day. So the reason I gave our day at Hurricane Harbor 1 star was because my kids love to go, but given the fact that I organized 40 people to go AND spent over $200 yesterday I would say we will not be back. Worst water park I've ever experienced. 5 of the largest slides were closed. Understaffed. Staff was rude and overwhelmed, maybe undertrained - to be kind. No system to manage efficiency (no light system or apparent communication between staff at slide entrance and the landing pool.) One area has 6 slides. In the hour wait for one ride, i counted an average of one rider every 16 seconds - for all 6 slides combined! They appeared to have no interest in monitoring the flow of riders, making for a miserable experience. read more

HURRICANE HORROR ? My family has been six flags season pass holders for several years now but never had visited hurricane harbor . Why ? My wife isn't a fan of water parks and combined with many poor reviews we never went ..until this week . Hurricane harbor extended their season this year till mid-September . We went on Sunday 09/16 the last day of the season . Upon entrance to the park a sign stated some of the rides were closed . Later found out HALF the park was closed ! Ride review ( that were open ) taak it easy creek - nice relaxing lazy river that goes almost a half mile in length . Problem is not enough tubes . People were jockeying for position at the entrances for tubes with no staff in sight . Also , why are people allowed to walk the river without a tube ??? tornado - fun ride although short . Nice drop at end . I really need to ask why they make you carry a huge 4 person tube up the stairs ? Six flags can't afford a conveyor belt ? Wave pool - larger than I though . Biggest and best waves are in the sides . Annoying they close the pool for 15 minutes every hour. Order everyone out ! Greek god tubes - we had the most fun on these. Like that you go from full enclosed to half enclosed . Also like the waterfalls . Line gets LONG when busy . First you get on line for a tube then after you get one you wait on another line for the ride . Speed slides - fun , lines not too bad . Lots of stairs to climb ! Six Flags hurricane Harbor has lots of fun rides. But my review reflects only two stars because they really need to manage this place better. The place is just completely overrun on hot days making the park not enjoyable .Maybe somehow Six Flags can cap number of guests per day. I heard lots of a seasons pass locals use this as their swim club during the summer. Why have rules if you don't enforce them? Saw many patrons without the proper swimwear in the pools and rides . Some of the rides had a weight restriction but I never saw the ride operator enforce it Leaving articles unattended is prohibited !! Come on , Everyone leaves their belonging on a chair . Is Six flags trying to get you to rent a locker at a ridiculous price of $14? People were taking the tubes out of the lazy river and attempting to use them on other rides. HeySix Flags maybe you should color code your tubes ! I would advise attending this park only on days when you know the crowd will not be large. Standing in long lines in the hot sun, Fighting people for chairs and tubes is not my idea of fun . Keep in mind they're only open for eight hours a day which isn't a lot of time if your dealing with crowds and long lines. read more

The experience in the park was very confusing. It was supposed to be an exciting adventure but it ended up with questions like do I ever want to go back there. Most likely it's a NO. To save some money we purchased a meal option online. When we were trying to get the meal at Paradise Pizza and Grill we realized that it is all very confusing. There was no explanation at all, therefore we asked questions but the lady behind the counter who looked pretty much like a supervisor wearing all black was not helpful but most likely rude by saying that if we are not happy then we had to choose a better meal option. First of all, there is only one meal option to choose from. Second of all, I personally think that if Paradise Pizza and Grill sells a slice of pizza, that is poorly made of just thin bread, cheese, and 3 little slices of salami for $15 then I definitely don't want anyone to snap at me with "choose a better option next time". Due to long lines and poor organization of redirecting people to the right spot out of the water to the safe area, you barely have time to try all attractions just once. Lots of people trying to cut the line with stupid excuses but the park representatives don't want to deal with it leaving it up to you. So summing this up, I personally won't go there anymore and I won't recommend this to anyone. There are so many better options to spend a few hundred dollars per person. read more

If I could rate this location with negative stars I totally would. Went to hurricane harbor and was uninformed in regards to the changes of the 2022 seasons pass. The corporation is doing anything in their power to ensure customers pay more money. When initially purchasing the passes I specifically told the lady assisting me that I wanted access to all of the parks. I came to the location on a Sunday and they informed me that they couldn't let me in. Apparently the lady decided to discriminate against me the second I asked about a military discount. Her reply was we don't really care about that in the hurricane harbor entrance. Followed by enrolling me in the cheapest seasons pass without any explanation of block out dates. I paid $623 with for 5 passes with the impression that I would have no issues coming into any of the parks. When I complained about the situation they put me in line for about 3 hours. I finally spoke to someone in regards to what was going on and they advised me that I needed to pay an additional $75 dollars per pass ($375). I said of that's the case give me back my money, I'm not about to pay $1000 on six flags. They followed by saying we will process your refund after I talk to my manager. Once they noticed the amount was $623 they said that they couldn't do it because the passes have been activated. They said they will put a request in but cannot guarantee a refund. The manager assigned followed up by saying to fill out a piece of paper with my information, I replied with if my passes have been activated how come you don't have my basic information? She couldn't give me an answer. Interestingly enough you had over 1000 customers in line with the same complaints. Thank you six flags for disappointing my children and wasting 4 hours out of my life. I see now know how this corporation feels about veterans and their families. read more

Worst amusement park experience ever! 1. Took 40 minutes to get thru park security. 2. No place to sit. Even at the cafes. Had to eat standing up. 3. Ridiculously long lines. Did not get on a single water slide in the entire visit! 4. Don't even think about the lazy river. Not enough tubes. In the middle of the ride they made everyone turn around and reverse course. I use to come every year took 2 years off now the park was just destroyed. I payed $390 extra for flash pass that when I use to use it you would go up the exit and they would have cars reserved now they just put me on line I got to walk up a different way sooooo disappointed. And you can't have anything in your pockets not your phone not wallet or you can't ride I think a little excessive since your phone is flash pass but you can pay more $ so u can use lockers by every ride I mean after $1000 for a family why not charge them for a locker that they have to use. I hate when places do this they know you have a phone and a wallet so why nickel and dime the crap out of people. The cars are old and left bruises on my 11 and 13 year old and myself on more then 1 ride. Drinks 6.50 each because charging 100$ per person because The six flags site would not let me order tickets I tried 3 different cards. After the 2nd ride my kids wanted to leave due to there injuries. I am soo disappointed I took 2 hours to drive here stayed in a hotel so we were closer then I couldn't even drive home had to get a hotel again due to the massive head ach the king da ka and Medusa gave me which I have been on these coasters since new. I tried to talk to someone before I left to complain about the $1000 I just threw down the toilet And was met with without them saying it sucks to be you. All I wanted was to change to water park since we were not there for even an hour and when I asked about flash pass I was told well there is not that many people here so the wait isn't long but they sold me the 50% faster for $390 for 4 people with ne issue then told me it was pointless for me to get it. Let's face it there water park is a joke splish splash is 1/2 the distance and 100x better. I should of went there but my daughter was so excited to go on these coasters.
