We forgot our games, which is just like forgetting an epi pen, so we looked for a game shop. There is something for everyone. The store has lots of dice choices, cards, models, board games, card games and plushies. There is a large gaming area inside. The employees were friendly but I felt like I was imposing on them so I didn't ask for recommendations. We found some great $5 card games. Six Feet Under has been hosting our weekly game group for two years. The owner is friendly, easygoing and knowledgeable. The store's inventory is a solid mix of board games, RPG's, Warhammer and collective card games. Prices are reasonable and the selection is solid. If what you want isn't in stock, they're happy em to order it for you. There's a big area with tables for gaming and a well-stocked library of games you can try at no charge. Definitely worth visiting. read more

Although the store is large and well-stocked, the woman working the counter both times did not want to answer questions about games, preferring instead to talk to the obvious regulars. Clean store, great selection of games, and this is the only place in the area that carries a wide variety of card sleeves - from Sleeve Kings (reasonably priced) to the more expensive Dragon Shields and so forth. They also have a very wide variety of miniature paint and painting supplies. What really impressed me was the Kickstarter-exclusive items in the store that were priced at Kickstarter prices - add-ons from CMON's recent He-Man game that weren't $50 (as they are on eBay today) but the $25 they cost during the campaign. That's not something you see every day - in fact, I've never seen a store that has it. I'm almost an hour away, but the product selection here is worth the occasional drive. read more

I've been going here for many years. They have a great selection of board, card, and war games as well as TTRPGs. What sets them apart is their willingness to accept trades and their huge stock of used games. They have an awesome collection of OOP RPGs as well. read more

Visited Six Feet Under Games while traveling through the area buying Comic Books. Many game shops these days are what I would call "Fly by Night" operations, meaning they have small shops with tables for tournaments, and the absolute bare minimum of stock needed to have said tournaments. This is NOT that store. Six Feet Under Games is located in a plaza with a video rental, cafe, and several other businesses so they have plenty of parking. Store is VERY large with a large central gaming space full of tables. This isn't what impressed me though. Stock at this store is the best I've ever seen. They have, at a minimum, hundreds of board games for sale that surround the outside walls of half the shop. What also impressed me, that as of the writing of this review, they had an extensive stock of HeroClix. Many shops have stopped carrying them, so I was glad to purchase several boosters. I'm not going to talk about other stock the shop has, as selections change often, but they have most things gamer's look for. Staff was fine for the most part, one person asked me if I needed help when looking at HeroClix, and the register person was quasi-personable. Six Feet Under Games is one of the best game shops I've visited and I would return more often if closer. read more

I attended the Magic: The Gathering PPTQ yesterday and was very happy with the venue and organization of the tournament. The store is spacious with an open floor plan. Each table has a trashcan at the end of it, which sounds like a minor detail but was incredibly convenient. The store also has a large selection of cards for sale as well as other gaming products. The event started on time or near enough (no Magic tournament ever starts exactly at its announced start time.) There were plenty of judges on hand and downtime between rounds was kept to a minimum. In addition, there were side events held and door prizes offered to the attendees. There are animals on hand, so you may want to avoid the place if you're allergic to cats. All in all, a excellent event. read more

I was just at this story for a charity event called Save Against Fear 2. The store had tons of games, and the people were very friendly and eager to help me and my daughter get started. Other reviewers said the store had an unpleasant smell but I did not find that to be the case, either the other reviewers are more sensitive than me, or the store has cleaned up its act. There were a couple cats there so if you are allergic it could be a problem. I played there for many hours and found nothing to complain about. read more

They have a room of games you can play at the store, so you can play it before buying or just go with a group of friends & try some games. Hey i have visited there for over 5 years and its a great shop. they offer a wide selection of games and trading cards. they also hold tournament weekly for many Trading card games and role playing games. now during this event days that's when you will notice the staff focusing more on the game at had then the customers but they are always quick to respond to questions. now if you want to avoid people and just want to shop the morning hours are when you want to go visit the shop. note the owners do keep to dogs and a cat in the shop but they rarely bother any shop goers. they keep the shop clean most of the time but you can find some dust in there from the board game racks. most games start around $20 USD but steadily climb to about $120 USD. if you are interested in a game talk to any of the staff. they have improved there shop from the older posts on this page. they are now twice as large and can hold about 60 people per tournament. they have a large selection and carry games all the way back to the 1960's. the carry a fully stocked trading card single's collection ranging in price from .25 cents to over $200 USD. They also except trading board games and Role Playing games for in store credit or cash(depends on day) so come on and visit six feet under games they have a great selection and host great game tournament. they have a little more to improve on before i give them a five star but this is coming from a 5 year veteran of the shop. and i remember these past posters and trust me the shop has changed for the better. read more

Ok to start off this store has a lot of space and good inventory but that's about the only good I have to say in this review. I recently visited this store for a magic the gathering tournament and the store didn't seem too bad at first glance. If magic the gathering had a prison this would be it and the owner would be the warden! You couldn't talk loud or have many people talking at once cause she would yell at you. The employees were absolute power tripping jerks along with the owner. They have CATS walking around in the store with cat fur everywhere. I am allergic to cats and this was very aggravating while trying to concentrate on playing. I don't dislike many things. It this store is by far the worst place I've ever been and will never return. read more

This is my least favorite store to play games at. When you walk in, you're greeted with the odor of pet urine. There are dogs and cats running around everywhere, not to mention the children that are left unsupervised. The woman who runs the store is rude and everything's overpriced. I feel like since there hasn't been a solid review in a long time for this place I need to add one. Six feet under is literally one of the best card/hobby stores around right now. It's magic section is literally incredible. You can purchase singles and do trade ins. I love magic. But they have tons of board games, role playing games like D&D, any kind of board game you can think of. They have Friday Night magic, Pokemon tournaments, and many more. This place has it all. In regards to the reviewers saying the pets and urine. Literally just disregard that. I couldn't smell anything negative. I love that sue brings her dogs and has the cat walking around. It really makes things more personal. You're not in a business. You're in a family-runned store that knows what it's doing to keep its customers happy. Keep it up. read more

SFU Games has been the best games store that I've ever been to, end of story. In all of my nerdy years I've never been to a place as welcoming. Susan and her family ran the pre-release (Theros) that introduced me to the shop and I was pulled into a larger group of regulars of the store that made the night worth while for me. Everyone on staff is around to talk and help out, there was even a super cheap buffet provided that made the night even better. Medusa, the store cat, was very friendly and only came when she was called. During the release I was even able to plug in my phone to charge it up. In the middle of matches I had the chance to browse the games of the store and was amazed by their selection; there was a variety that other game stores lack. I was later informed that Sue had a game library in the back so people can play the games before they buy them. Although the games were a little pricey, the library more than makes up for that in a way that is down to earth enough that the owners realize that you'd like to try before you invest. In a single pre-release at this store I am able to say that it is the only store that I will be attending MTG events at. This place is everything you'll ever need in a game store. read more

First off, this place has a pretty amazing selection, many Games an things for games, but there are some pretty outrageous Negatives. First off is the smell, upon walking in you're bombarded with the scents of Cat and possibly some other type of urine. I recently took up D&D and went there for some D&D Figurines, I had called several days previously and been told that they had plastic figures starting at $1, only to find out once there that the cheapest D&D Figures they had were $2. Plus upon asking questions about them the Lady at the counter, I believe it was the owner, sounded like she had better things to do then answer a newbies questions. Now I don't believe she meant to sound quite so curt, that's how she came off. So to wrap up, this place is Expensive and Reeks of Piss, but otherwise it's quite useful. They have a wide selection and if they cleaned up a bit, it might be a fun place to hang out. read more
