Great store . I stop by and get great stuff to feed my construction crew…read more I own Pioneer engineering and construction. We have about three lunches a week and we service tritip on Friday. The seven tritip bag and pork ribs are awesome. The one thing I learned is there Angus frozen hamburgers are absolutely the best in town. The also have very large beef hot dogs the are really good. I am not much of a hot dog fan but these are amazing. The people who work here are really nice. The store is set up to get in and out in minutes. We feed over 30 people at a time .I use a large tragger and 45 minutes is all it takes . Thank you Giuseppe

I called to place an order. I was coming from out of town so I gave them 12 days for it. When I…read morearrived, Mike told me a cart with my order was in the freezer. FANTASTIC I thought. I had ordered 20 boxes of frozen hot dogs but the cart was loaded with the incorrect items. NO PROBLEM I thought. But they didnt have my order. Bill told me to just come back. I live out of town I told him. He said you don't need then until Halloween so just come back, you have plenty of time. He seemed annoyed that I wanted what I had ordered. WEIRD. Bill said "We can only get what the warehouse has." So what is the point of ordering?? Bill went to get Mike and for some reason I became the bad customer. Mike had my phone number so he could have called me a day before to tell me he didn't have my product. I could have been told they were sorry. I just wanted to pay for the 13 boxes on my cart. I couldn't get by the small area so I told a nice lady I wasnt cutting. Mike came over to ask what my order was. Shouldn't he know?? I wasnt keeping it a secret. Because he was talking to me, the cashier skipped me. I just want to pay for my order since they seem bothered by me. Driving back to Redding I thought Why did I put in an order for hot dogs at a place that SELLS hot dogs to be picked up 12 days later and then EXPECTED my order to be there?? I didn't ask them to scrub my toliet, reroof my house or rotate my tires. I realized I WAS the problem by asking to buy a product sold by US Foods with money. What was I thinking??!! Instead of contacting customer service as they responded, I would rather paint my house with a q-tip or go back to high school.

I've been a Reviewer for a long time, and it takes a lot to truly blow me away, but my first trip…read moreto the Chico Farmers Market yesterday did exactly that. If you care about regenerative agriculture and nutrient density, this is the gold standard for Northern California. The absolute standout for me was MyHarvestValley.com . I'm a huge advocate for soil health, and their regenerative walnuts are a masterclass in what happens when you treat the land right. You can actually taste the difference, it's not just a snack; it's high-quality fuel. I ended up spending quite a bit of time there just appreciating the transparency of their process. Beyond the walnuts, the entire market is a treasure trove: The Meat & Produce: I was struck by the selection of properly raised meats and organic produce. Finding proteins raised with this much integrity is rare, and the variety of healthy eating choices made it easy to load up for the week. The Nursery Finds: I didn't expect to be scouted for my garden, but I saw some of the prettiest Japanese maple starts I've ever laid eyes on. The health and structure of those starts were stunning. The Vibe: It's rare to find a market that balances such a wide variety of specialty goods while maintaining that authentic, community-focused energy. This isn't just a place to shop; it's where you go to support the people doing the hard work of regenerative farming. I'm officially a regular.
