I would love to highlight Stefano for his hospitality. He was a joy! I don't want to spoil the experience, but I will share that the chef's table booking begins with a small tour of the property that is just amazing. The menu for chef's table includes three extra dishes, as well as a wine pairing. The wines and food are exquisite! Each bite was delicious and texturally interesting. The wines were complimentary and even included one blind tasting! The meal ended with an amazing array of desserts. They also sent out a torte for my husband's birthday. When we left, Stefano gave us a small book of the best restaurants in Italy. This kind gesture was so moving! I'm so grateful for our meal here and we will never forget it! Grazie mille Stefano, Chef, e squadra!

We had a wonderful dinner here last night and I cannot say enough good things about our experience…read more Firstly, the dining room has fantastic ambience and great table spacing/privacy. Secondly, the team is just outstanding. The somms, the waitstaff, everyone really was attentive, friendly, helpful and helped us have a tremendous experience. So the food? Just great. We did the Silvia tasting menu with a wine pairing for five courses. The amuse bouche was great with several small bites that were really lovely. The cocktail in a small "egg" that you ate in one bite was super creative and tasty. We probably liked the crispy "wagon wheel" that had ricotta embedded inside each spoke the best. I'll take 20 to go please! The bread service was amazing and I'd put it against a cage match with Joel Robuchon on Clarges street right now (best breadbasket on the planet away from here). This was different in a really lovely way. We started with the brioche and some grissini. Then they did a lovely foccacia brought warm in a pan to the table with a cheese spread that I cannot now remember but it was great. And then we had french baguette and integrale with salted butter. It took all of our discipline not to just take down all this amazing bread. For the courses, we had a salad with artichokes and feta, the signature wafer with sea bass tartare, lobster and ricotta cheese (male lobster which is astice not aragosta which is female lobster and what you think of most of the time which one of the staff very politely explained to us), spaghetti salad with scallops, vermouth glazed duck, porca l'oca, a quick cheese course (shared) and desserr wtih persimmon, chestnuts and yogurt. For a single bite, the porca l'oca is AMAZING. However, the spaghetti salad had a blend of flavors and textures that was probably my favorite followed by the wafer. And best of all it was paced perfectly and not too much food. We were full and satisfied at the end but not stuffed. The wine pairings were great (a reisling, soave, sancerre, amarone and then a nice wine with dessert that I think was Sicilian) and really complemented every course. We were able to end our night with a quick tour of the kitchen and chef's table which looks terrific. Sadly, we hadnt fully internalized that they received their THIRD MICHELIN STAR that day so did not congratulate the chef. This is not the best place to do it but CONGRATULATIONS Chef on a job well done and stars well earned! We look forward to returning soon.

Osteria del Bugiardo was located in a good area so we made our way over to this wine bar. Service (2.5/5): Confusing system. There was a wait for a table but no hostess outside. We eventually talked to someone and she said that while there's no list, she will remember our faces and let us know when a table is ready. Not the most efficient system but we waited about 10 minutes to be seated at the bar. Our waiter took care of us pretty well after we got in. Ambiance (3.5/5): Your typical wine bar. Nice ambiance. The only downside for me is that seating at the bar consisted of bar stools. Without back support. Which I have always hated and which hurts my back. It's also pretty tight in there when they're at capacity. Drinks (4/5): Since this is a wine bar, you know what to order. We had glasses of rose. Not the heaviest pour but the price was solid. If you're not looking for wine, they also have things like Aperol Spritz. Food (4/5): You won't find hearty fare here but you will be able to munch on a lot of small plates. I'm talking things like mini sandwiches, croquettes, meatballs, salads, etc. Which is exactly what we did. We shared a couple of tapas between the two of us. It was filling and did the job. I wasn't stuffed but it was good and on the healthier side. Overall: Osteria del Bugiardo is one of the most popular restaurants on Yelp in Verona and it's located in the heart of the city.

They have a nice garden terrace as well as a lovely dining room inside (with AC!). Started with mixed grilled vegetables and the house cured salmon which came with a bit of salad. They do have some pasta and specials of the day, but we all had pizza, of which there is a rather wide selection to choose from. I had the melanzane which was definitely the most delicious eggplant pizza I've ever had. My husband had the "Trentino" with had wild mushrooms, Emmentaler and speck. And my son had the Capricciosa (mix of various things including prosciutto, olives, artichokes, etc.) I tasted them all and they were all great. House wine: $12.50 for a liter. Awesome deal, very drinkable and went well with the pizza. Service was attentive and efficient. I hope to return while I am staying in Verona. It's a neighborhood gem with extremely reasonable prices, away from the tourist bustle of the centro historico.

Price is average what you paid for this delicious food. Yeaterday we had lunch in downtown and paid almost twice as much and wasnt as tasty. (lesson learned) This is a family oriented place to eat however they have a bar and a patio for prefference. My family was very satisfied overall.
