He made some great recommendations on the menu. For a free starter, we were offered some papadum with some nice chutneys. It was all very tasty and fresh. We ended up ordering some vegetable samosas, butter chicken, and a lentil chicken soup. The samosas were fresh and crispy with nice flavors! Be careful, these things come out hot. The butter chicken did not have overcooked chicken which is a huge plus! It was savory, rich, and creamy. Sometimes, excess oil is a problem in butter chicken. But, not here! This dish was great. I have no complaints about the lentil soup, but it is pretty standard. Although it was quite good, it definitely wasn't the star of the meal. To end the night, we ordered halva dessert. It is a very sweet, dense confection dessert. It was absolutely delicious and will fulfill any sweet tooth. I don't understand why this restaurant doesn't include sides with the dishes; it seems odd that everything is priced separately. The service was just okay.
