Reading my old review makes me sad because the overall vibe of this gym took a turn for the worse…read morestarting in late 2025/Jan 2026. The usual cleanliness of the mats took a decline. The family business vibe that kept me for 6 years was minimal. The owner (Patrick) turned into a MAGA keyboard warrior. I avoided Patrick's classes because it was 45 min of stretching and 15 min of workout. Coach Kirby's classes kept me going since my strength gains were worth it (and you don't need to take your shoes off for strength training lol). There was no point in coming here after the last certified personal trainer quit their strength program and more women gradually left. I would rather drive more to train at a different gym (more than one Muay Thai & strength gyms exist in Sacramento) than come here. I don't mind the cost as long as I am in a clean facility and the vibe is worth it. The only reason they have one star left is for Coach P. - he is a good Muay Thai coach and a rockstar. I didn't really go to Coach Rocci's classes until last year, but the few times I did his music was the best for sparring. Pro tip: use a different personal FB account to post political content where gym members can't see them. Regardless of whether people agree/disagree with your views, there is a level of professionalism needed if you want to be a successful business owner.

Unlike other gyms where all students get the same training day after day; coaches tailor a specific workout for you. Coach Tyler is one of the best coaches hands down. There is humbleness to recognizing anyone can be a great artist and be skilled, but what is a blessing is a space of support and caring people. We make mistakes in life out of lack of experience, we are all learning and working each day to be better people. Everyone has a human right to train and be wherever they want too. Come try out a free week and see if it's enjoyable. In life we should spent time exercising now versus a life of pain just being still in the future. Think of it as an investment to your retirement, so you're healthy in old age. Also investment to be able to enjoy life traveling, playing sports with younger family members. Hardest part is walking through the front door and you can walk right out is a good first goal. I've been out and injured over and over but everytime I'm welcomed back and my bodily feelings acknowledged and not pushed when need to rest my injuries. Here are some pictures I took, I wanted the members to maybe love themselves more and maybe see more what role models and lights they are just being themselves fun, passionate, understanding, and supportive. The coach has ZERO patience for children and let's them get under his skin very easily. The idea when enrolling a child in a gym is to have them let off some energy while obtaining some basic Muay Thai skills. His idea of discipline is to waste not only time but money sending them to kick a bag for 30 minutes. Not to mention he only has class 3 days a week for roughly 40 minutes. You can enroll your child an exit away where they charge you less for not only more Muay thai, but coaches that actually care about the littles, have patience for them, and WANT to see them improve in the sport. If your interested in watching your kid practice and it's hot outside, you better be prepared to sit in a room that's just as hot. The whole time in the summer there wasn't any ac so you have little kids practicing in 100 plus weather while parents have to sit there with them. Older kids and young adults may be ok with all of this but in my opinion, its absolutely no place to sign your child up.

Under the leadership of Kru Rick, the atmosphere is welcoming, respectful, and inclusive. I started at rock bottom. Exhausted and carrying extra weight, I couldn't manage a single push-up, yet I was treated like part of the team from day one. The coaches are knowledgeable and offer thoughtful feedback. Classes are challenging and fun, and the people here are wonderfully supportive and encouraging. A year and a half flew by and I'm down 30 lbs and feel stronger and more confident in my body. Muay Thai is healing. I've had a rough several years, and training has helped me work through fear and other difficult emotions. Over time, I've become more resilient and grounded. The first time, the owner told me to always check Instagram for updates, so I made sure to do that last night. Today, I showed up again and found the doors locked! I re-checked their Instagram only to see that they posted just before midnight about a cancellation today. It's frustrating because I was excited to try a boxing studio so close to home. It takes motivation to even get the confidence to try a new boxing studio, let alone get there and give it a second chance. I'm not willing to give it a third chance after wasting so much time and energy. The owner needs to be more on top of things. Update the schedule online and give more notice of cancellations; not just post last-minute on Instagram.
