However, both times she was in there Kristi and another girl were having a gossip session not doing any work. The second time my sister was in there my son was screaming and crying about getting his hair cut. He hates getting his hair cut! Well my sister was holding his head for Carletta to try to make it a little easier for her. She (my sister) caught Kristi peeking around the corner of the counter LAUGHING at my son for screaming and crying!!!! I'm livid! Mv sister was so mad when she left there!!! She immediately called me to tell me. She said that it took everthing in her power to keep her mouth shut. She didn't want to upset my son more since he was already upset and crying! This is not how you do business! If you think it's funny that kids cry, have a fear or getting their hair cut, and are upset you shouldn't be in this profession! I will make sure that my friends and family that go in there do not go to Kristi! Unless they want their kid laughed at! This is completely rude and disrespectful! Update: I spoke with the manager/owner, she stuck up for the employee and brushed this complaint under the rug. The person who did my sons hair didn't clean her station and when asked about it said she wouldn't clean it to just have to clean it again after him. Mind you, there was another kids hair all over the floor, chair, etc. I looked past it and should've known better. Then comes the cut which is the worst cut I've seen in my life. I cut his hair between cuts and even me (unlicensed) can cut his hair better. It's so uneven, patchy, and the photos don't even do it justice at how bad it actually is.

This third hair cut was terrible , hair was COMPLETELY CHOPPY ALL OVER . The " line up" was uneven and literally circles around the ears . He had a permanent part and instead of following it she made a whole new one . So ended up with 2 parts and it wasn't to straight to add to it all . Needless to say I will now only be going to an actual barber . NVP cuts on the exit of EMERSON and Thompson had to fix this horrible cut . ON Another note, I must say that there were a few stylist in the back and at the shampoo bowl that were extremely loud and I'm not sure what was being said as it was in Spanish and at first I thought maybe these were other clients, no it actually was the stylist talking to each other in Spanish and extremely loudly and for long periods of time! they didn't seem to be aware about any of the other clients in the salon. All of the stylist seem to be doing shampoos and color which all looked awesome, but if the volume at the bowl would have been quieter while I was in my chair, I would have been more relaxed. I have tightly coiled natural hair. I would have had to wait an hour for a stylist who is more comfortable with "textured hair". I didn't have that much extra time to wait. They were very nice. I appreciate that they didn't want to mess up my hair but at the same time it just made me feel rejected in a way. I ended up going to a different place on a whim that was pretty cheap but did a great job. Nothing against them. I just wouldn't recommend to those to have coily hair.
