I went for the 2-hour Luxury Massage with Jasmine, and apparently two hours can disappear remarkably fast when you're that relaxed. Jasmine was excellent--professional, attentive, and clearly knows what she's doing. I asked for strong pressure and she delivered....oh, sweet, sweet pain! LoL The spa itself is beautiful, with great décor and a relaxing atmosphere that makes you forget the outside world exists for a while. Two hours well spent. I walked in feeling like a regular human and walked out feeling like I'd been rebooted. Definitely recommend!

I paid $60 for a 30-minute session, and instead of concentrating on my shoulders, most of the session involved stepping and wrestling across my entire body. It felt rushed, impersonal, and completely ignored the service I asked for. To make matters worse, after the disappointing session, I was followed out to my car and pressured for a larger tip. I already paid for the service and did not appreciate being harassed in the parking lot for additional money, especially after my requests were ignored the entire time. Very uncomfortable experience overall and definitely not worth the price. Terrible vibe.

That is actually not the case, and we were able to get our services here and enjoy the amenities here. Our pedicures were absolutely amazing and Z and D did a fantastic job! April was also incredible attentive and helpful with our experience. We really enjoyed the steam room, sauna and cold dip, but the massive hot tub takes the cake! It was so relaxing to have such a large hot tub where you can submerge up to your shoulders while standing! We also were able to unexpectedly enjoy a fantastic lunch at the spa. At check in we asked if we could order lunch and we were told we there was no spa restaurant and they recommended walking down to the food court. However, luckily we found information indicating that there was in fact a way to order lunch to the spa and we had a nice lunch. Overall a fantastic experience and a great hidden gym. The advertising and website of this place truly does it a disservice and doesn't show how fantastic it is.

3 1/2 stars.....I recently checked out Aquae Spa at the Resort at Summerlin. Honestly, it's a bit…read moreof a mixed bag, but there's definitely a lot to like! *First off, the layout is really nice and peaceful. The pool area is super relaxing, and I loved that they have a coed sauna. I got an 80-minute aroma oil massage and it was AMAZING. The therapist used the perfect amount of pressure, and the room was so tranquil. Also, huge shoutout to the staff--everyone from the front desk to the poolside team was wonderful and so friendly. *That being said, the amenities definitely fell short compared to other spas around here (like Red Rock, where they give you dried fruit, granola, juice, Pellegrino, etc.). At Aquae, the complimentary snacks were literally just popcorn and water, which felt pretty lackluster for a spa day lol. *A few other things annoyed me: My first locker was broken so I had to switch to a different one. *Two of the showers were totally out of order. And if you're modest like me, there is no private changing area unless you lock yourself in a bathroom stall or take up one of the few working showers. I am not a fan of letting all of my jiggly bits hang out. They were missing some basic conveniences--no disposable razors, and no swimsuit dryer (they just hand you a plastic bag for your wet swimsuit). They did have toothbrushes, hairbrushes, shampoo, shaving cream, and hair dryers, though. Overall, the price point is fair for locals, the grounds are pretty, and the staff and massages are top notch. But with the JW Marriott and Rampart remodeling, Aquae Spa really needs a revamp of its own to catch up on the amenities. I'd go back for the massage, but I'm definitely bringing my own snacks and maybe a Moomoo tent to change under so I don't jiggle my wobbly bits in front of everybody next time!

Overall, it's been a mixed bag of experiences, because ultimately it depends on the masseuse, fluctuating prices, and their schedule. Overall, it's a solid facility and large enough to wear. It can accommodate all sorts of groups for a variety of different massages. There are plenty of chairs for foot massages, private rooms galore, custom shoulder massage chairs, and a serene ambiance with Chinese style furniture that helps with its overall vibe. There have been times where other patrons are talking and there have been times where the mass masseuses are the ones chatting (audibly). The back walking, deep tissue massages are the ones to get, but not every masseuse is able to do this. Some folks may complain about the lack of English, but that has never posed an issue for anyone I brought here, including myself. There are benefits to being members here, in which prices are always going to average out on the cheaper side and is an option, I would recommend for any local. If the massage was good, remember the name of the masseuse. Cash is king, even though they also accept credit cards. Tips can vary, of course, but don't let anyone bully for more than what is reasonable. (#1) __________ (#1) Typically $10-15 for an hour's worth is my rule of thumb.

When you arrive, just take the elevator up to the reception area, where you're greeted with friendly smiles and offered water. While the staff has limited English, it hasn't been an issue for me since I book my appointments with an English-speaking coordinator who lets them know what I need ahead of time. The facility itself is large and very clean, including the restrooms. The massages were absolutely wonderful, and both times I felt the extra $10 for the body scrub was well worth it. We shared a room with friends, which I didn't mind, and I made sure to set the tone early by politely asking for silence; they were very respectful of that. My only real complaint is that the massage bed squeaked throughout the session the second time around, which drove me a bit crazy. I eventually managed to tune it out and relax, but I definitely wouldn't want to hear that again. I also wish they offered tea, but that's just a minor preference. Overall, for the price, I'm very happy, just be sure to confirm the pricing ahead of time! I enjoy the 90 minutes of bliss. I request the deep pressure and it's solid.

They have a room with hot tub, cold plunge, and body temp pool and heated stone lounge chairs; and a sauna, steam room, and arctic room that dispenses ice from the ceiling. I liked the cold room, which doesn't seem very common in spas. There's also a larger heated whirlpool. None of the pools/rooms were overly hot/cold except for the cold plunge, which I thought was nice. Snacks included small apples, dried apples, granola bites, and chocolate biscotti. The facility was clean, well stocked, well maintained, and everything was in service. With any spa treatment, you have all day access to their amenities including a large jacuzzi, various baths, wet and dry sauna, Arctic room, showers stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, a waiting area with complimentary use of a LED mask and a leg compression machine, various snacks, fruits, and drinks including a customizable sparkling water and coffee machine, and locker access. Customer service was top notch. Everyone from the front check in desk to the ladies helping to restock towels and bathroom amenities were all professional and helpful. I opted to try their new Aescape massage which is a massage conducted by a robot. You are given workout attire to wear and once in the room, you lie down and start your self guided and customizable massage controlled by the tablet in front of you. It scans your body and shows you visually which part of the body the robot is working out. You can control the pressure, type of music, and area you want to focus on. The robot's hands are heated so it felt like a human was massaging me! I wouldn't say it's equivalent to a human masseuse but worth a try! TIP: make sure to have ride share drop you off by the Augustus Tower. Once you enter, take the elevator up to the spa floor. Unfortunately ride share will only pick you up at the coliseum valet which is on the other side of the hotel so do not order your ride share until you're closer to that location.
