I liked doing the cold plunge after the sauna and napping in the heated chairs. I didn't like that they didn't have bathroom amenities like hair dryers and razors out and available. I feel like they should just provide them without us having to ask. However, the massage I got was incredible and the best part. I have to give a shout out to Henry. I have chronic pain and was suffering from a flare up when I visited. The pain relief I got from the massage was so great that it made me cry. He knew all the areas on my back and arms I was feeling pain without me telling him and he used just the right pressure to relieve the muscles. I hadn't felt that good and relaxed in years. Thank you so much! I wouldn't go back just for the spa but I will definitely go back every time I visit for a massage and spa. We already booked our next trip and will be staying at Fountainebleau for this!

I've been here a total of three times since 2024. My first two times I had massages with Heidi and…read morethey were fantastic! However, my most recent visit (a few days ago) Heidi was not available and I had Gisele instead. She was kind at pickup, however, as we were talking through the consultation she visibly started becoming detached and I caught her slightly roll her eyes a few times after I asked some questions about add ons. While she stepped out and I was about to get on the table, I stuck my head out into the hall to ask to add an oil add on and she was leaning against the wall on her phone. She immediately put it away and said she could add the oil (I forgot the name of it). I thought this was a bit unprofessional since there are guests walking up and down the hall. During the massage, I asked for her to lighten the pressure and her responses were clipped and she seemed annoyed. I did not feel relaxed after and felt like a huge inconvenience to her. I always go down to enjoy the spa and it honestly was chaotic this time. I always enjoy the sauna shows (Joli is amazing!). The common area was too over crowded and it was LOUD. I get it, it's a social area but the employees should be able to ask to lower the voices in a spa, right? Apparently not. I asked Rolli (he said he was a supervisor) about it and pretty much said that's how it is and I could go to the female only side for more quiet if I wanted. I then saw him approach a female employee with orange hair and they seemed to laugh about it as she looked over my way. Also, all of the warm stone chairs had towels/robes on them to block anyone from sitting while everyone was in the pool. So no one else could enjoy them and again the employees didn't do anything about it. Okay.... I felt unwelcome in that area with them so I went to the ladies side. The hot tubs edges had black/green goop building up. Half the showers are broken. There were dirty cups/bowls everywhere. The star lounge had dirty towels built up. I went to the desk (where they give you your shoes) and there were about 7-8 of them standing inside...men too! Why can they see into the ladies only side? Again, fine I'll move on from that...but they were all so so loud and just laughing and chit chatting. You could hear them in the locker changing areas and the couches where you enjoy the snacks. While the entire spa was a mess! I got changed and left. I didn't even want to mention anything at the reception desk. It was overwhelming and underwhelming all at the same time and just wanted to get out of there. I honestly won't be coming back. The facilities are not being kept up with anymore. The service quality is very low. It was such a bad experience, there are other spas that offer better value for your money.

That is actually not the case, and we were able to get our services here and enjoy the amenities here. Our pedicures were absolutely amazing and Z and D did a fantastic job! April was also incredible attentive and helpful with our experience. We really enjoyed the steam room, sauna and cold dip, but the massive hot tub takes the cake! It was so relaxing to have such a large hot tub where you can submerge up to your shoulders while standing! We also were able to unexpectedly enjoy a fantastic lunch at the spa. At check in we asked if we could order lunch and we were told we there was no spa restaurant and they recommended walking down to the food court. However, luckily we found information indicating that there was in fact a way to order lunch to the spa and we had a nice lunch. Overall a fantastic experience and a great hidden gym. The pool area is super relaxing, and I loved that they have a coed sauna. I got an 80-minute aroma oil massage and it was AMAZING. The therapist used the perfect amount of pressure, and the room was so tranquil. Also, huge shoutout to the staff--everyone from the front desk to the poolside team was wonderful and so friendly. *That being said, the amenities definitely fell short compared to other spas around here (like Red Rock, where they give you dried fruit, granola, juice, Pellegrino, etc.). At Aquae, the complimentary snacks were literally just popcorn and water, which felt pretty lackluster for a spa day lol. *A few other things annoyed me: My first locker was broken so I had to switch to a different one. *Two of the showers were totally out of order. And if you're modest like me, there is no private changing area unless you lock yourself in a bathroom stall or take up one of the few working showers. I am not a fan of letting all of my jiggly bits hang out. They were missing some basic conveniences--no disposable razors, and no swimsuit dryer (they just hand you a plastic bag for your wet swimsuit). They did have toothbrushes, hairbrushes, shampoo, shaving cream, and hair dryers, though. Overall, the price point is fair for locals, the grounds are pretty, and the staff and massages are top notch. But with the JW Marriott and Rampart remodeling, Aquae Spa really needs a revamp of its own to catch up on the amenities. I'd go back for the massage, but I'm definitely bringing my own snacks and maybe a Moomoo tent to change under so I don't jiggle my wobbly bits in front of everybody next time!
